    Fish taco being devoured
    Tracy s.

A bit of a hole in the wall with some surprisingly good fish tacos. It's not fancy but the fish was tasty! Ordered fish and chips - with choice of cod, halibut or salmon. Stuck with the classic cod which was flakey and perfect. But the real hit was the fish tacos packed to the brim with salmon, cod and ?? I forgot the third one - but don't let that stop you from ordering it. Delicious!

Best Clam Chowda in Seattle... When I'm in the need for a hot bowl of chowder I'm compelled to visit Seattle Fish Co in West Seattle. This market also doubles as a restaurant serving superior quality seafood. Upon entering I'm always greeted by super friendly fish monger who'll take my order. However he always asks what kinda Chowda I'm desiring. I'm like come on man is there any other type of Chowda other than New England clam chowder. Super thick & creamy in a hearty bowl with an abundance of chunks of clams & potato's. As Jerry Seinfeld say's to Kenny Bania " THE SOUP IS THE MEAL " and believe me after devouring a bowl you'll be ready for a nap.. Not that it needs it but you'll receive a bag of oyster crackers which I use.. Watch my video to see how chunky my chowder is while it tumbles off my spoon. If you're looking for other seafood while you dine they have many items but that's a discovery for you to make, cause to me it's all about the chowda. Anyways you find enough seating in the front of the place to dine or in the summer a few tables outside.. Now it's time for you to enjoy a bowl like your good buddy FRANK has today...

Came here the other day for dinner for happy hour and it was empty. I ordered 4 oyster shooters and steamed clams. The oyster shooter came shucked with cocktail sauce on the bottom. Each one seemed like they weren't cleaned bc each one tasted like they had sand in them which was off putting. The clams however were tasty and cleaned. The broth was delicious and the toasted crunchy bread tasted amazing with it. The service was great from beginning to end! She was patient and helped me with every question since it was my first time.

Found this place near by our AirBnB and we enjoyed for dinner. We togo their soups and fish and chips for dinner. It was perfect choice for the cold weather. Fish and chips were crispy and not too greasy. Loved their cioppino, it helped to balance with fried dishes and creamy soup. They are located in the downtown so you can also explore the area while waiting for food. Staffs were friendly and they recommended their favorite dishes for us when we asked.

Captain's platter. 3 fried items with fish. I chose clans, oysters and halibut. Delicious.

We absolutely love this family owned restaurant and fish market. The food is well prepared and reasonably priced. This is the best fish house in West Seattle and possibly the city. Best customer service and truly inclusive. I always feel welcomed. If dining in the restaurant enjoy a nice beer. They have an awesome selection. Yes there is a TV there to catch the local sports game. Highly recommended when visiting Seattle.

We come here EVERY TIME we are in Seattle. Our friend from the area recommended this place and every time it's as good as the last. We are creatures of habit and get the taco special. The fish is delish but shrimp has been our favorite. Expect to use plenty of paper towels, it's messy but oh so good! You get such a good value vs what you get. The clam chowder rocks. It actually tastes like it has clams vs most places I feel like I just get potato soup. Lastly, the service. Everyone has always been nice and the food comes out fast. Hard to beat a place like this.

Excellent place to try local seafood. Market gives off the perfect vibe for a fresh bite to eat. Clam chowder was our favorite and we were seated right away.

Salmon chowder, robustly flavorful, the potato gives this heartiness

Just outside of where the Farmers Market sits we happened across what might be a West Seattle institution. Part fish market and casual restaurant, this was a perfect snack during a cold afternoon. We had the salmon chowder and cioppino. The gamble was that being a fish market that these two chowders would be packed with goodness. They did not disappoint. We will be back, potentially religiously, for this treat. Yum

Excellent Cioppino! It was full of salmon, shrimp, mussels and clams and tasted so fresh. Great service from the friendly owner. Thiis my first time here and i will be a regular for sure.

Food: So scrumptious and delicious. I may have gone a little ham on ordering lol. The crab cakes were divine and I appreciate that it was not heavily breaded and I could taste the crab. The poutine was my favorite, I even risk my lactose intolerance for this. Crispy fries, some sort of clam chowder sauce, the cheese curds omg. So delicious! Service: order at the county and they bring the food to you. Ambiance: clean, open and cozy.

Went back on a cold day for some chowder, never disappoints!! Soup options as of Jan 2024: clam chowder, smoked salmon chowder, & crab bisque. Hot tip: $3 up-charge to add grilled bread (can still get oyster crackers too. $6 a cup, $9 a bowl (better value). Crab bisque had stellar flavor and clam chowder was chunky deliciousness, but to take leftovers we combined them into one and i really think we're onto something. Feels divey and local because it is, and I love it

When you enter the restaurant, the kiosk is front and center, and you place your order on the touch screens. There are typically 4 types of pasta to choose from, and about 4 sauces. There are salads and sides that you can add to the pasta. I love burrata, and so that was my add-on. The kitchen is always in full swing, with lots of activity, and is open to the public for viewing as they prepare meals. When your meal/order is ready, your name appears on the screen, and one of the employees calls your name. Seating is available after you place your order, and water is self-service as well. I love the cost-reducing atmosphere of the place. The place is well lit, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I had pesto sauce with spaghetti and a salad. The pasta was supposed to be al dente, but came to the table cold, with a bit of a crunch and a sticky-to-the-tooth texture. This really did take away from the meal. The burrata was okay, but it seemed to be better prepared when they first opened. Again, this is a place I have come to look forward to, and I enjoyed the previous menu. Also, the website menu does not match the in-store menu at all. Because I love the neighborhood vibe of the place and the no-nonsense model they use, I have to go back to see if they can recapture what got my attention when they first opened. My only advice is to prepare the pasta as advertised.

The combination of salmon lox, avocado, cucumber, tobiko, spicy mayo, and unagi sauce worked really well together. The roll was balanced, not overly heavy, and had just the right amount of sweetness and spice. Seafood Chowder: Standout to me. The chowder was rich and creamy without being too thick, and the bacon added a nice smoky touch that brought everything together. The asparagus was fresh and complemented the dish well, while the mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting. It was a simple but outstanding meal that let the salmon be the star. Dessert: Lemon White Chocolate Cheesecake it was the perfect way to finish the meal. The chocolate chips and the nuts complemented each other while also taking away some of the taste that the excess sugar in the cookie otherwise has.
