Once I found a table (though one of the chairs was blocked by a pillar) we waited for another table to free up. After that, the experience improved. The waitress was attentive, and both drinks and food arrived quickly without much wait. The overall atmosphere was great, and the live music added to the experience. The duty manager and I discussed the matter; he said the sidewalk would be cleared later today as they had a new contractor. That is indeed the case. When I came back about 7:30 PM, the sidewalk was cleared to the bare pavement with big chunks of packed snow piled to each side. T H A N K. Y O U! to the Duke of Kent and the contractor. I am glad, and I am sure many others who live on Roehampton are appreciative. As a neighbour, I am grateful, and I wish the Duke of Kent a successful year - before we know it, their patio will be open!!

The venue is long and narrow, with two floors and a distinctive looking back patio. Our service was fairly prompt and they are located in a quite convenient location, literally across the street from the subway and the historic, flagship LCBO location. I happily pivoted to a perfectly pleasant Malbec, so I was okay in the end. The service was surprisingly excellent. Our party had about 30 people, and although there was another large group there at the same time, the staff was on it. Our waitresses kept us well-stocked with appetizers and managed to get drink orders filled with impressive speed. For those taking transit, it's incredibly accessible and just a five-minute walk from Rosedale station on Line 1. I can't speak to the parking situation as I didn't drive, but I didn't notice any garages on my walk from the subway. I'll have to come back on my own dime to give a more "authentic" review, but based on this experience, they know how to handle a crowd.
