We had burgers for lunch today. Asked for medium, but were well done and a bit dry, although the meat flavor was good and the fries were great. Salad wasn't super fresh. I have gone here twice. Staff is amazingly nice. The apps I get the southwest rolls. I do enjoy. I went for the Apple feta walnut salad. I was a little disappointed apple soft. Had to look through the lettuce it was on the turning side. If you go there and want a salad I would get the southwest. I do like going there because of the atmosphere. We ate at Gabbys Rustic Eats this evening and had a great experience! Sierra was our server and she was wonderful. We had an appetizer of chicken wings that came out piping hot and delicious. The blue cheese dressing served with it was perfect. I had a sirloin that was cooked perfectly rare/medium rare and tasted great and my partner had pork chops that he said were excellent. Then, we opted for dessert - hot apple pie with ice cream. Exceptional! To add to all our amazing evening, we were able to use the 2 for Tuesdays and had one meal comped. Three stars because the staff that transitioned from the Bonfire are great. The food is straight up bad. The temp on the fryer isn't right, the fries are unseasoned and just kinda yuck, like you'd get in an elementary school cafeteria and the pork tenderloin was bland and greasy to the point it was inedible. Being a cook is a skill and not anyone can do it. Spend some money and hire a chef. Beer is cold, so that, but I won't eat here again until I hear something has changed. read more

I was thinking it was odd that someone else complained about flies, BUT, it is a righteous complaint! We noticed flies around the window when we sat down and it was no problem. As soon as the food got there it was like being at a garbage dump! The flies were EVERYWHERE! It's too bad because the food was really good. read more

Thought we found diamond in the rough. Until last night. Got there in time for the 1/2 off appetizers before 6pm and found they discontinued that. Would have been nice to know in advance (website) or a note on the menu. Ordered wings anyway. For $14 we got 2 drums and 6 wings. Unequal mix. And just okay...nothing to write home about. Ordered Chino Philly Cheesesteak. Looked great upon presentation but did not taste good. The meat tasted old. The fry's I asked to be crispy were not. My friend ordered a salad. We always loved the salad presentation. This one look wilted and boring. My friend said it was not good. Nor what his blackened chicken sandwhich that came with terrible presentation on the plate. I've been there a few times since they reopened. That is enough for me. The food isn't fit for a school cafeteria. The organization of the staff is about the same. I watched the food being brought out with nothing but confusion almost every time!! The last time there (will be my last time) I watched the food delivery confusion again. Only this time I watched a plate be delivered to the wrong person and the bartender took the plate from the person and walked back in the kitchen waited a minute with the plate still in her hand and bring it to another person. We were a little concerned when at noon we saw 5 cars in the large parking lot. On the way in they have a "Smoking Post" i Assume is for people who smoke out doors)- But the sign on the entrance door ( 10 ft away) says no smoking within 50 ft. Not a good start. Went in and could not find anyone to seat us and to take an order ( 12/12/23 12:30PM) . Looked around for someone. A couple who had been seated (I believe finished ? maybe they were wanting to order?) and finished were looking around for someone ( food or pay?). WE never got a chance to eat we left to eat at a place that has wait staff. They do not need customers . We met a group of people at a table on the north side. We were seated right away and were pleased with the service throughout the meal. I had a very good French onion soup with a well made Caesar salad. The group all enjoyed their meals. My only complaint was no prime rib. Could that be under consideration? read more

To be fair a restaurant should have at least a month to get its act together. It has been two weeks after their opening when my wife and I decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered chicken fried steak and my wife had pulled pork. The portions were a little on the skimpy side for the money. The pulled pork and fries were good but they could of added little more fries. The chicken fried steak batter was over cooked and the steak was not tenderized. The side order of beans was on the light side but were good. We will give it a few more weeks and stop in again. We went when it first opened, and we did not care for at all. The food was cold and just not what were accustomed to when it was Bonfire. We gave it a 2nd chance when, I received a text from one of the servers there, they are a friend of mine and said they hadn't seen us. So we went back in! Oh my gosh I am so glad we did! It was awesome! I had the Ruben, my husband the turkey melt it was amazing! If you went before, when it first opened or if you read reviews and decided not to take a chance, Do! First of all, Rachel was our waitress and she was grest. Very sweet and efficient. She made us feel welcome. Hubs had the chicken club with a side sald, I had the Chino cheese steak sandwich with the side salad. The sise salads are nice and fresh and more than four pieces of lettuce artfully arranged...they were SALADS. The club sandwich was huge!!! And very tasty according to the man. My sandwich was good as well. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I saw someone with the chicken fried steak on the way out. I will order that next time. read more

On Wednesday July 10th, we had a nice dinner at Gabby's Rustic Eats. We dined with another couple who live near us, and had good conversation, a tasty meal and VERY good service. Our server, Ryleigh, was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu & offerings. We had the Turkey Melt and French Silk Pie. The melt was grilled just right and had a lot of turkey. We had dinner with friends last nite. 3 of us ordered the fish and chips 2 with salad one with chowder. The service was good and attentive. The food was terrible. Fish was over cooked on the outside almost dark brown. It was tasteless and had to eat fish without overcooked breading. My chowder tasted like brown gravy a bit greasy with an absence of clams. The highlight of our meal was the salad. I will not go back this is the second time we had to endure their food and will be the last time. Again service was good.
