By mid-morning, they might be running out of the type of bagel you want, but seem to churn out replacing them quickly. They have regular coffees, all the juices in the world, and great prices. I believe the SEC bagel I got was around $6.50. Lots of locals come to pick up some fresh bagels to take home. I had the pleasure of standing at the front while they brought out some FRESH plain bagels, which I took home and broke into in awe. I'd never encountered a bagel so crisp on the outside, yet fluffy and perfect on the inside. Panera is ruined for me for forever. They have some outdoor seating, but most people seem to do takeaway. This place is a well-oiled machine. Great option for breakfast.

They charge me $14 so I asked him did you charge me six dollars for orange juice so there's three dollars and change so I said 8+3 is 11 and taxes not that much, but that'll be the last place the last time in that place that I go, don't go to Chester.

It feels like a hole in the wall, but at the same time is actually very clean and thoughtfully decorated. I loved all of the pictures of old fashioned movie stars on the wall, and much preferred this ambiance to any of my local diners. Our server was a young man who we later found out was the grandson of the owners, who were sitting right at the counter table. It made Marilyn's even more charming to know that it really is just a mom-and-pop that an entire family rallys to takes great pride in. I was really excited to see cheese blintz on the menu, as this is one of my favorites but is not so common! I ordered this, along with a side of bacon, and a decaf coffee. My blintz was excellent and came loaded with fresh fruits and sour cream. It was better than the blintzes I used to order from my favorite Ukranian restaurant in NYC. The bacon was cooked perfectly (crispy!) and my coffee was awesome. I will definitely be returning to bring my husband. I am only knocking off one star (it hurts to do this because I really loved my food and experience here) because they only offer bottled water, they are cash only, and the bathroom was very VERY cramped. After a quick glance at the menu, I immediately spotted what I wanted, the Firecracker Chicken Sandwich. This was for me! Buttermilk marinated chicken, deep fried with a seasoned firecracker crust, served on a ciabatta roll with spicy carrot slaw, herb-buttermilk mayo, fries, and a pickle. Sadly, the description on the menu was the best thing about the sandwich. What I got was an unimpressive looking chicken sandwich that had been overcooked and was devoid of any moisture, tenderness or flavor. It simply wasn't edible. To their credit, they took it back without question and asked if I'd prefer something else. I choose a roasted turkey tea sandwich on multi-grain bread with a side salad. This was definitely better, but still not great. Perhaps Redwoods Grill & Bar is more in their zone for dinner service and maybe this was just an off day, however, based on my experience there, at least as far as the food goes, Redwoods Grill & Bar isn't a place I can really recommend.
