Whole Wheat Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese In Your Face - Deal With IT!! Lol!!

I never met I Bagel I didn't like, but there's something about Gabe's Bagels that I really Really Like. Maybe it's the fact that they're freshly baked and super soft where they should be but still crisp around the edges. Add to that an awesome assortment of freshly prepared cream cheese creations with a liberal amounts of tasty toppings and we're talking about pure deliciousness in every bite.   And if you don't believe me, [which is totally understandable] My coworkers all agree that this is definitely one of the better Bagel Shops in the area too. So yeah I think that just about covers that, what else do you need to know, Lol!! Come And Get Your Bagel Munch On!!

4.5 stars, very enjoyable. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, SPK. The first bite was great: everything held together and there was good flavor and texture. Bagel had a good chew, but also a good give. Eggs are scrambled instead of having a gooey yolk, which I don't mind. Everything bagel had good distribution of seasonings. The reason why it is not a perfect 5 stars is because the bacon wasn't all that great and didn't have enough crisp for my liking. You can definitely tell this is a well run bagel shop though. They had a bunch of people running around and working hard on a Saturday morning. Everyone was kind and efficient. Great place!

Great NJ bagel spot near Drew University where we come when I'm visiting my daughter. Great service, fast and even if a line it moves quickly. There are a couple tables if you'd like to sit down but it's fairly noisy and people coming and taking away their food mostly so we like to to-go ours and eat elsewhere. Also good coffee and nice selection of schmears

fav go-to bagel in chatham! always super quick and friendly service and fair pricing. i usually get everything bagel with jalapeño cc. they have a good amount of options and also coffee and baked goods too. i do wish they had tofu cc though.

I'm sorry Gabe's Bagels. I had been enjoying this place for over a year but the last two times I went I've been completely underwhelmed. I like flat bagels but my past two visits I've gotten them, they are burnt on the edges. They also charge more for sandwiches or cream cheese on these bagels but they have not been filling them. See photos of my flat everything bagel with scallion cream cheese.

    Turkey club

Damn, this is a good turkey club bagel! Bagel purists would note that Gabe's version is slightly bread-y but this is more than offset by correct application of components (garlic, onion, poppy, salt, etc for an everything bagel) and the top-rate chewy-ness of said bagel. Also the staff is nice and it's cheap plus we're in NJ not Manhattan so I'm unaware of anything that even begins to approach the value-proposition offered by Gabe's.

Delish new bagel spot in hickory square. I thought the bagels tasted soft and fresh and had a great flavor. They were thick without being chewy or dense. They had a large indoor space with a pretty sizable kitchen and counter area, though i don't remember seeing any no indoor seating (but there were two tables outside in the sidewalk!). Masks not currently required indoors, and none of the employees were wearing masks either. They had a hot/cold coffee station, which I was a little disappointed in because some of the milks/creamers were crusty or chunky and the ice had melted into one large block so I ended up drinking room temp iced coffee. I would probably add Gabe's into my bagel store mix because the bagels were great, but I'd love to see some improvement with staff's attention to the details!

Gabe's is off to a good start! Real bagels, not just round rolls. Service was nice and fast.

Hungry and very short on time, I ordered the turkey and brie sandwich from the Chatham Sandwich Shop. My order was ready for pickup in less than ten minutes. The sandwich was melt-in-your-mouth amazing--the kind of lunch that makes you stop after the first bite and think, "Oh, that's good." There's something comforting about places that do simple things exceptionally well. The Chatham Sandwich Shop is one of those classic sandwich shops that doesn't need to try too hard. Good food, quick service, and exactly what I needed on a busy workday. Five stars. I'll be back--probably the next time I ignore my grocery list.

Sometimes I like to throw random instructions in there like toast bread, melt the cheese and make the fries well done and surprisingly this shop hit on all points. The bread was fresh and so was the turkey, and the fries were well done to perfection and they had that golden crisp to them. The shop itself looks nice inside and my food was ready for pickup as soon as I arrived. If you are in the mood for a good sandwich then I recommend this spot will be going there again stars.

Multiple layers of Taylor Ham multiple eggs and very cheesy on what I'm guessing is a kaiser roll. It's a little more expensive than most places. It's $10 and most places you can get it for six to eight dollars. But thosev places don't give you as much Taylor ham as this place does. It's definitely worth the extra couple dollars. Place seems small but they did say they had seating around back. Parking lot not huge but there is a parking lot next door that I parked in. I don't know if you're allowed to park there? As I was there the place got really busy but the owners and staff were really nice. Definitely will go back to try something else. If the bacon egg and cheese gets as much bacon as they give Taylor ham? Then I'm definitely going to try that next.
