Ok can you tell me where the six stars button is because five stars is not enough! I can not rave about this place more. I walk in and I am immediately greeted by Teresa herself. Staff was so helpful and friendly. I asked for some suggestions and they were spot on. The interior is nicely decorated. Now the real reason we came. The food is amazing!!!!! Today was my first time at Teresa's Italian Kitchen since it recently opened. The place looks very good, a nice improvement over what it previously was. There's a nice lunch menu, plenty of indoor seating, and nice and clean. I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich to go. The sandwich, served with a cup of sauce was very good. Lots of chicken on it. We stumbled upon this place. Very new Staff was extremely helpful. Place was spotless. The only issue was the menu - the wall had only sandwiches but the have a bunch of meals as specials they do with FRESH MADE PASTA. After see someone eating that I asked for that and they explained the specials. They just need to fix that. Food was very good. Salad came with the meal too. Prices very fair. Gotta tell you about an excellent new business that just opened up here in town a few days ago "Teresa's Italian Kitchen" is serving up some seriously delicious Specialty Sandwiches, Wraps, and Paninis.   For my first visit I ordered an "Everyone's Favorite Parmigiana" which consists of Chicken Cutlet, Melted Mozzarella, and Marinara Sauce for dipping. Long story short: now I know where it gets it's name from WOW!! Plus a huge shout out to the choice of Bread that they use here- Crusty Semolina which definitely stays firm and absorbs all that incredible deliciousness.   Also worth mentioning they do prepare everything here on a made-to-order basis nothing is sitting around in buffet trays or anything like that. Pasta Dishes can be ordered from their Family Style Menu for nights when you just don't feel like cooking. Stop by and help me welcome them to the neighborhood. Only had the 2' sandwich for $20cash. Not bad but the chicken cutlets are small and one layer. The bread is 3" wide and the cutlet didn't stick out. Don't look like the video advertising it. Bit deceiving. Same with the eggplant. Good gimmick ! read more

First time here and last time. I ordered online my St. Patrick's Day sandwich the day before. I chose Russian dressing as I had a choice of mustard or Russian dressing. I ordered for pickup at 12noon. First off ordering from the website, I was charged a service charge. You only get that charge if you order for delivery service. Strike #1. I get there at 12:30pm and no one is in there. It's lunchtime. It should be crowded. I wait by the front counter and no one cares that I came in. Finally a blonde haired woman approaches from sitting down at a table and says she will be right there. Strike #2 The ambiance was that of cafeteria style tables, not like the tables they had on their instagram page. I get my sandwich and go home. I open it to eat and it's not piled high as advertised and there's no Russian dressing on it. Nothing is on it or in a cup on the side. The only thing extra was a cup of mediocre coleslaw. That's strike #3, you're out. And to make matters worse, more than half of the corned beef had fat on it. Now I see why they weren't busy. I will not be back and I don't recommend. read more

We ordered a HOT pastrami sandwich and it was served cold. Asked for toppings on the sandwich and did not receive. Only yellow American cheese. On the brighter side, my grilled panini was delicious. Fabulous!! The service is unreal, very welcoming and even gave me a sample of the chicken cutlet and eggplant cutlet. Both were nicely seasoned. I decided to have the Tuesday special meal, it was wonderful. I took the photo after it was sliding around in my car so don't mind the presentation. It also comes with a little salad and bread. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try. They are also starting to serve breakfast soon. read more

Went there to expect another nice italian place to go to, but boy were we mistaken! The whole place was a total mess, no direction nothing. People were filling up the place and the employees had no clue on how to take orders the whole 9. The person taking the orders couldn't understand one word of english and was repeating things 5 times over and still couldnt get the order right. We got someone's eleses order with their name on it it was that bad. Instead of having it to stay as we clearly stated, we got it with a togo box with someone's name on it. The cook came out to help, but had no clue on how to work the POS system. Tried to blame the computer instead of the actual problem, both of them. This is no joke. A cop from Whippany Police department came in to get a to go order, and with their lack of knowledge, they scanned his credit card but they never bothered him to sign it. Instead of placing the order on hold, and calling them or next time they showed up to have him sign the credit card receipt, they's morons forgued his signature on the receipt. For a place to be so badly run and the owner at home doing whatever, it clearly shows where Teresa's mind is. Its all "gee look what i have" something that seems like "honey can you build me this place" and I have no clue on how to run it. You have one choice of drink "Joe's Tea" which shows you how much though this person put into the place. They don't even have time to claim a Yelp Website! This place gets 5 starts, shows once again how stupid people are and can be easily influenced and told what to do and buy! read more

It's only been open a few months but we've already been here 3 times and we will be back for more. Staff is very friendly and I think the owner has been there every time we've come in. Very clean and ample seating. But the food is the star of the show (as it should be). Everything has been delicious but the meatball parm is my favorite. Lots to choose from.
