While testing, they found my battery was going bad and offered me a good price Duracell battery manufactured this same month. I knew about the tires and battery starting to fail and I know my car well. I'm pretty sure they accidentally stripped one of my battery cover plastic screws, but that kind of stuff happens all the time at these emergency service places and I don't think reflects on them. Aside from that, they took care of the car as best as I could expect, Sure as hell, everything went exactly as they said. No bait and switch. No upselling. Everything was at or below market price. I ended up spending a bit of money on things I knew were due on the car (with no pressure from the staff) and got a solid price and solid material for all of it, it was all done in time and they seemed to take care of the car as best as they could. The guys were all friendly, honest, timely, and vocal about everything. From my experience, these were serious people. I'm really glad I went with them. I don't know why all the bad reviews here. Thank god I didn't read the reviews before coming. I wish I hadn't read the reviews while I was waiting for my service to be completed so that I didn't have the stinking paranoia that something was wrong. But no, everything was good. They even put back my lugnut covers solid in place. I recommend these folks if you need anything. Obviously, know your car and what things are worth and expect little inconveniences at any shop that you go to. No one babies your car as much as you do. But when you need help, it's nice to have places like this that can lend you a hand. They did all the jobs we agreed on in the time we agreed on for the price and materials we agreed on. So I got what I paid for. And I'd happily go back to them again.

Tire Kingdom looked at it and said they don't want to touch it and there's nothing they can do to fix it as it's Jiffy Lube's responsibility. So now I'm sitting here with a car that is not operable and both shops don't know how to fix it, however, both said I should go to Japanese Auto Care to get it fixed. I came to Japanese Auto Care early Monday morning, fully expecting them to tell me to take it to a Mazda dealership or that they would be too busy to take me. To my pleasant surprise, that was not the case at all. Jimmy immediately said he would be able to get it taken care of and get me up and running same day. Jimmy called around to make sure that someone was able to provide the studs that were specific to my car, and kept me updated along the way. More importantly, while I sat there waiting for my car to be done (in a very clean and comfortable waiting room might I add), lots and lots of people filtered in and out, either picking up or dropping off, speaking to Jimmy as if they were family, considering they have been coming here for so long. Jimmy answered every single phone call that came through no matter how busy he was, and had such a kind and professional demeanor with each individual person he spoke to. Within a few hours I was finally headed home, thanks to Jimmy and team. They were able to do what other "popular" and corporate auto body shops couldn't. I know one thing that I have struggled with for the 11 years I've had my car, is finding a trustworthy, dependable mechanic, and I think I have finally found the one.

I came to Jimmy at Japanese Auto Care, and it turns out I didn't even need all those other repairs quoted by the other place. Jimmy took care of what needed fixing and the car has been running smoothly, like new, ever since. Recently, I brought the car in for a tune up, oil change, tire check and rotation, etc. Great service, as usual. This is a long standing, family run business that provides excellent service for a very fair price. Jimmy is a gem, he is kind, caring, compassionate and honest. This is the only auto care service center I'll ever use. They are the best.
