    Regular pancake breakfast.

Overall, okay experience. Servers are very nice. Home fries and eggs NEED salt and pepper. Pancakes were good but syrup was cold, not even room temperature. Bacon was a bit too crispy to enjoy. Baclava pancakes weren't delicious but came out cold, wouldn't allow butter to melt on them. Mimosa was cute, dainty and satisfying. Though things weren't perfect, would return. Solid 3.5 stars.

First time visiting this Dinner. I found this place from app called Next . Because they offered sausage Biscuit gravy in the menu and I love Biscuit sausage gravy. It's not the best I had. Below average , the biscuit supposed to be light and soft but it's chewy. The gravy's bland, lacks of flavor (put tons of hot sauce :)). Service is ok. She saw my unfinished plate but not care to ask. The serves/hostess really chill. I will come back again to try something else but not Biscuit Sausage Gravy. Maybe There is something for me. Even wawa's sausage Gravy taste way better.wawa is a gas station that serve food. Double espresso nah..maybe it's just me.price $3,99 and the Biscuit sausage gravy $10.99 plus Taxes and FEE* $2.68?. * charging fee for what? The ambiance is so casual and relax. Like a neighborhood diner , good place for family, friends hang out . I gave them 4 stars because they offered discount to veteran/First responders and I appreciated it. 3 Stars for food and services. Ps. If you pay cash they deduct 4.75% . Before I left ,I have a chance to meet the owner/manager. She is really friendly and nice. She talks to every table.

Nothing to really brag about. The pancakes, waffles & omelettes are overcooked, salty & tough. We only tried breakfast. Not sure if we're willing to try the others in the menu. We'll stick with Cracker Barrel.

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

The food was average at best when it came out. Super disappointed. We came here for my mom's 5 year beating cancer anniversary and it wasn't much of a celebration.

The minute we walked in we were seated early and the staff was so friendly and welcoming immediately and the ambiance is very warm and chic. Multiple employees gave us friendly greetings. The Chef's tasting was tastefully prepared and there were some additional items not on the menu. The Japanese milk bread was delicious too! I really loved the rockfish and the Braised short rib. Each course was beautifully presented and the seasoning and flavors were perfectly balanced. We were really impressed. The chef came out to introduce himself and it was nice to be able to compliment him in person. He's been there just over a month, I think, and he is doing a phenomenal job! This is such a welcome experience out west in the south. I highly recommend checking it out. It was about as good as Clarity in Vienna or 2941 in Falls Church. Dress was business casual and definitely a nicer place for more of a date night or special occasion. We wouldn't bring our children here. We were full at the end but not stuffed. Comfortably satisfied in our bellies for sure!

I feel like I was being punked!!!…read more The vibe and the service was great but the food was terrible!! I felt so misled by yelp and Washingtonian!! The price point (145/165) is not deserved for what is served. I didn't want to leave a bad review but I didn't want people that actually go to fine dining establishments to waist their money. To be a little more specific on the food, everything was either too salty, disproportioned, frozen(deserts) , stale( bruschetta and the tuna tartar cone) or just not cooked well. I wish this place well, I will not be back. And I just want the young servers to know that their customer service was great, they were very polite and friendly.

The owner is a little grumpy though and we've heard he stresses when it's busy, but they deserve to be busy. If the divey atmosphere doesn't bother you, but you enjoy excellent food, then, please, check them out. This is our favorite place to have a bit of a date night throughout the week. This prices are incredibly reasonable and fairly cheap for the area and considering how good the food and atmosphere is for our silly selves, we are starting to visit quite often. I prefer food to service because I'm paying to satisfy my appetite not my ego.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable…read more From the moment we walked in, the owner, who was also serving/bartending at the time, was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My friend ordered the steak and cheese egg rolls, which were listed on the restaurant's online menu. Instead, a steak and cheese sandwich was brought out. When my friend politely explained that this wasn't what she ordered, the owner yelled, "We don't have steak and cheese egg rolls." She pointed out that they were listed on the online menu, and rather than simply explaining that the menu might be outdated or apologizing for the confusion, he became even more aggressive and yelled that he "didn't have an online menu." The situation was completely unnecessary and could have been resolved with a simple, polite explanation. Instead, we were yelled at, treated disrespectfully, and ultimately kicked out. Mistakes happen. Menus can be outdated, items can become unavailable, and orders can get mixed up--we understand that. What we don't understand is treating customers with hostility over a simple menu discrepancy. We came in expecting to have a meal and left shocked by how we were treated. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. Customer service and basic respect should not be too much to expect.

I liked that you could request music to be played but you did have to download an app and sign up for it. The music was also uncomfortably quiet. Like hard to hear even though it wasn't loud in there. After sitting down we immediately ordered the bacon cheese fries. I love the self serve because I got to try a few things, I also love that there were a lot of non beer options! I originally got a cocktail at the bar which the bartender made because I love watermelon schnapps and it was well priced. Next I tried the pineapple cider and it was delicious. Me and my sister also got some green tea shots from the wall which were delicious. We also tried the walls blue Hawaiian which was good but I'd prefer it over ice. After almost an hour of waiting for our food we got nervous it wasn't coming so I went and asked at the bar. As the girl was checking, they came out. We had to ask for the side of ranch that was supposed to come with them and I'd I'm glad I did because it was delicious, tasted like it was made in house. Now the fries were burnt and not good. At this point we'd waited so long and wanted to head over to the venue so we just ate them. Over all I would definitely go back for the drinks, maybe bring a game to play but I wouldn't come here for the food. Especially if there's a concert that night nearby.
