Recently ((January 2025) I was pulled over by a police officer and given a warning because the stickers for the month and year were reversed on the license plate; I told the officer that I had no idea this happened because it was taken care of by the dealer at pruchase. When I called David at Auto Leader he was borderline disinterested in the conversation at first not even acknowledging they made an error. (as if I wouuld call about this falsly out of the blue and as if I did not buy a car from him that was not cheap!) This made me annoyed. He then told me I needed to come in and they would try to fix it. I asked if he could come to my work place, 2 blocks from their shop, and he could fix it there. He refused and said he was trying to seve me time and aggravation over having to go to MVA for new stickers. His solution was in no way saving me time and aggravation already caused by the error, and in the future to get it fixed. His attitude was terrible- he accused me of "pointing fingrer". I would be VERY CAREFUL about doing business with this complany, especially if you want a company with customer services that stands behind their work.

That is just mind blowing to me and he couldn't explain to me why the prices were so high for such old vehicles. These vehicles were 10 to 15 years old and they were asking $12k and UP. It replaced a 2001 Toyota Camry (purchased 2012), which ran precisely like the well-oiled machine it was for nearly 300K miles; I am expecting similar from any subsequent Toyota Camry! Bought the Toyota at Maven Motors in spring 2026 for the fair market value of $13K-ish, after a mostly enjoyable no-nonsense negotiation exchange with the professionally affable Humble Jewish Merchant who owns the place (and is also obviously an adept magician of some stripe in his off hours -- "Game Knows Game"). But it wasn't until July and August that I really ran it hard, all the way up to the lush rural forests of Skull'n'Bones Maine and later down to the deep humid swamplands of Voodoo Georgia, at speeds up to 85-95 MPH for extended periods. The 2014 Toyota Camry is one heckuva mainstream car. Exactly what I wanted: Nondescript, meat'n'potatoes, but it'll run forever, like my last one (presumably). Five Stars for MM (13 13)! I had a harness wiring issue with my vehicle that I knew from the get-go was the cause of my third…read morebrake light being out but they made me pay a diagnostic fee regardless. The machine screws that affix the third brake light to the fixture are less than $5 and for how long my car was in the shop for a small repair like this, and for HOW MUCH I paid (over $500) they couldn't order these simple machine screws to complete the job properly. Instead of they left the light dangling. More importantly the fixture can just be snapped into place without screws, at the very least they could have done that but they decided to half-ass the job. I had to go to Home Depot myself and get the screws to affix it. There is a hardware store down the street from this place and they couldn't order the screws? Ridiculous Not to mention getting in touch with them to get an update is near impossible. I called after 3 business days bc I didn't get an update and it was just static on their end of the line.
