Similar modern decor. Friendly cashiers and servers. Not much has changed inside since I came here in high school. Except they no longer offer the chicken salad sandwich. Today, I had the grilled chicken sandwich with caramelized onions, mozzarella, and bacon. This was decent! The side of sweet potato fries are excellent with the pesto mayo. Just trust me and try it!

Having not been to this restaurant for a very long time, we have it a try last evening and were pleased with the food. Orders are taken at the counter and then food is brought to the table by a staff member. I had the fish wrap which was crispy fish and cabbage wrapped in a tortilla. The spicy dressing really added to the flavors. My husband ordered the Strawberry salad but instead he was served the grilled salmon salad. He didn't return it because he really liked the flavors- nicely cooked salmon and mandarin oranges in greens. Galaxy Cafe has a full gluten free menu too! We'll be back!

A few things about this diner... Overall.. the food was good, even though one of my bacons was a little undercooked. We were basic in what we ordered, first time so we figure you cant mess up eggs and bacon and toast. The service wasnt.... Bad per sé, but they cant call themselves a diner when you order at the counter and then its brought out. It takes away from the diner experience and what if the service sucks? Do i ask for my tip back that you pre charged me? I ordered an a la cart pancake.. not bad, but, for 3$ for a 4 1/2 inch pancake, you can at least put a dab of butter on top and warm syrup... so not the case here. The food was good but absolutely overpriced.

Visited Galaxy Cafe last week for breakfast. It's a "order at the front then find a seat" establishment and they have a regular menu and gluten free menu. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of potatoes and my boyfriend got the breakfast sandwich. We also split a carafe of mimosas.

Great burger and fries with IPA. Typical eat breakfast there. It's all good. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Needless to say I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed to hear that my ALL TIME FAVORITE SALAD MEAL ahi tuna salad was deleted from the menu that I was forced to pivot to this salad - ugh - I honestly tried to keep an open mind and I'm glad I did. It truly was delicious but it's not the same. I miss my GO TO SALAD! Damn it I'll miss my all time favorite salad. So sad.

    Very small power bowl.

I like them okay. The food is decent and they are a bit more expensive however I do get them pretty regularly. That being said, the tiny portion I got yesterday on my power bowl has made me decide to start ordering elsewhere. I paid $16.99 for a very very small meal and ended up having to cook bc the portion was so small. It is time to move on from them.

We ate here yesterday for a late lunch and enjoyed it. We were able to walk up to the counter and order immediately without much of a wait, which was nice. They then brought the food out pretty quickly too, and everything was warm. I got the build your own burger and it was delicious! The fries were warm and very good as well. 5/5. My fiancé got the Brie burger and she enjoyed it, saying it was 4/5. Five stars though for good food & reasonable prices!

Wow wow wow wow wow. This place is outstanding!! First time I ordered I had breakfast, I got the Migas Breakfast and it was DEEELICIOUS, the migas were so perfectly done. They came with a side of refried beans and tortillas, although I don't think the tortillas were homemade. Didn't really eat the tortillas but I didn't really need them for my migas, and the migas were top tier. Only con is that I had added breakfast sausage to my Migas Breakfast for an extra charge and they didn't put my sausage with my food even though I was charged for it, DoorDash had to pick up their slack on this and thanks to DoorDash being so great, they more than made up for it. DoorDash shouldn't be having to make up for restaurants forgetting items paid for though, establishments need to do better on carefully reading and packaging orders. Food from here was outstanding though. I also got the kids breakfast with blueberry pancakes and skillet potatoes, the potatoes were so well seasoned and very good. Next time I ordered here it had just passed breakfast so I ordered lunch and dinner items. I got the Grilled Chicken Chipotle Wrap which was DELICIOUS. My side was sweet potato fries, the sweet potato fries I don't recommend unless you're dining in because they get cold very fast and just don't travel well. I also got the Grilled Chimichurri Steak Dinner with whipped sweet potatoes, which were so good and my steak was perfectly tender, very good steak. Only thing is it was more so medium rare than what I ordered which was medium, there was some blood on the container wrapper inside the box and the very center of the steak was pretty pink well red-ish, they needed to cook it just a tad more to not have the more red center and a more brownish pink than red. It's a super tender steak though no matter how it's cooked and very flavorful. I added the Pesto Pasta to the steak meal even though I already had the whipped sweet potatoes and both the sweet potatoes and Pesto Pasta were both good. It also came with a side salad. Now onto the best part even though all of it was yummy. The Chocolate Torte, oh my if this isn't the most delectable thing I have ever had. Do yourself a favor, if you order anything from here, make sure you at least get the Chocolate Torte, it is the best thing I have ever had. Photos don't do it justice. Even if you're not a big chocolate or sweets person, neither am I but this thing is DELICIOUS. Chocolate Torte is a hit and a must get

Power bowl with salmon. Not very full. Disappointed

The Buddha bowl was great. Full of vegetables and lentils, etc. I can't say the same about the Power Bowl. It didn't even fill up the bowl. It had salmon and brown rice but little else as you can see. I'm disappointed to say the least. It did taste good. Salmon was very tasty.

    Chicken Scraps

I ordered a chicken bacon mozzarella sandwich, I got a cheese sandwich. When I pointed this out, I got this hot mess. It chicken scraps, tough, chewy, overcooked, and cold. Not to mention the leftover bacon. I paid $50 for 2 sandwiches and 2 iced teas. Absolutely disgusting, zero stars.

    First time visiting with mom!

Outside there's a cute playground, gated, for the younger kiddos. Perfect for those who want to keep the kids occupied but also enjoy a snacky snack and a drink. There are plenty of gluten free options, and we ended up getting the Yardbird Chicken Sandwich on a gluten free bun, a complimentary Reuben sandwich on a gluten free bun, fish and chips, and a burger for the kiddo. All of them were great! Hubby enjoyed the fish and chips and the spray bottle with malt vinegar! Such a fun touch, nice and crispy, and the chips were crunchy and delicious. I actually really liked my chicken sandwich. While it looks standard, it was such a good bite, super filling, and since gluten free, I got a side salad which was nice and simple and light. The Reuben was GREAT! I was so excited I could have it since on a gluten free bun. The corned beef wasn't super greasy or heavy or too salty which I really appreciated, and the aioli was great to balance out all other parts of the sandwich. The slaw, pickles, everything were all so good, and definitely worth getting in the future! And our kiddo demolished the burger in a heartbeat! Add some great service - super kind, funny, and made me feel so safe eating there with an allergy. He was great, and even though he was busy, he did such a great job coming and checking in! We also had a pint of Lazarus Rice Lager which has been treated and is consumable for those with a gluten allergy (not Celiac)! I love Lazarus beers so much, especially this rice lager! So light and perfect on a hot day! We would definitely come back any time! Defintely worth the stop!

The drinks were good and they have a pretty solid list of "experimentals" as well as some themed drinks for the bar. I had the Daisy and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. All in all, I think this place is great for a 1:1 or coming with a small group of 2-4 people. And our receipt came inside of a book, which added to the quirkiness of the place. For parking, there is limited spots immediately in front of the restaurant, but there's a big lot right across which we went to first anywho! Walking in, there's a little bar to the left and the hosts are super nice. When guided to the table, the narrow area of seating lol people just be looking so I feel like they should paint it red on the floor so you're always like doing a runway walk...but I'm SO glad we didn't get seated there because it felt squishy. We got seated by a more open area and had a view of the playground which looks so fun for the littles!!! The menus are so clean, they weren't sticky like you might receive one at a more "bleh" breakfast place, you know it was just better here . They had a specials menu which basically caught our eye and mainly ordered off of that. Our server Erica was super duper nice, friendly, professional, and respectful! I didn't take any pictures of the place inside oopsies but mainly because I didn't want to invade anyone's privacy but it was nice seeing the others dine in there too like a little grandma meet up happening. Ordered: * (drink) raspberry peach palmer 7/10 * (summer 2026 special) champagne lobster omelet - not my meal just had a bite but with my taste buds it was too seafoody for me in the early morning but s/o loved it so probably 8.5/10? * (brunch speciality) hash brown Benedict with a add-on of the summer 2026 special raspberry white chocolate pancakes // okay writing this I realized I don't think I got any white chocolate in any of my bites or my s/o took it all. I loved the poached eggs on the Benedict were basically to perfection. It was so satisfying slicing through those eggs but I almost didn't want to break them definitely had a nice bounce lol. I really wish I could see how they packed the hash brown into those balls with the filling delish. I got the country potatoes as my choice I loved the little crispy bits they're my fave and like perfect amount of salt not too little not too much. We were given extra normal syrup for the pancakes and then adding the normal syrup made it seem like normal pancakes. And then clumps of like maybe brown sugar idk were just so hard to cut through... but it was so nice and soft, nice stack of whipped cream. 9/10 * the extra - Beignets. It comes with an orange marmalade jam I guess. It was a nice treat for sure! I guess I just wasn't craving it or in the mood. But it warms the soul, it felt like it just warmed me up!! Could not finish but wish we did bring it home haha wah. wasn't really wowed by the marmalade but it was still good I think if I had a coffee it'd be soooo much better so I need to order a coffee next time for sure 6/10 I can't wait to come back again. The coffees others ordered look SO good... defs needs to try one next time. Bathrooms - only one for each gender I believe and locked after once user. There were occasionally a fly in sight but common with the opened and closed doorways from both sides. Wait - none as well walked-in just a little under an hour after opening on a Thursday Seating - there are a lot of extra seating outside, I'd see how if you had like 6-10 year olds you could let them out and just play on the playground while you wait haha. In the morning the outdoor seating is mainly shaded and there are a few trees. There's a mix of booths and just tables. The walkway from the front where hostess is towards the back open area seating is kinda narrow but includes seating as well but makes it really cozy like you're in a diner if you get seated in the middle walkway I guess but I am just glad we didn't get seated there. Overall I highly recommend. Shoutout to Erica Thank you for being our server for our first dine-in... defs beats choosing takeout instead ! We walked it off to d&b's right afterwards but there's the park, and other stores galore around!
