Yum! Well worth the long wait. Definitely plan out your day around it since they can sell out fast and the line we heard can be up to 2 hours. The cornbread was my favorite. Parking lot is really small but we got lucky!

Friendly staff and nice ambiance with plenty of places to sit. Parking can be a pain, parking on the street is what a few people had to do. I got the miso glazed carrots as a side which were great. They had a nice char and tenderness. Then I got the L&L burger which was amazing. The patty is quite large and juicy, and the cheese flavor really comes through. Bun is slightly sweet- highly recommend!

Parking is limited in their lot but street parking in neighborhood available. Came on a Monday evening and the "what's available" board helps with just setting expectations early on. We got a tri tip, onion rings, miso glazed carrots, chili Fritos, the burger, and I couldn't leave without the banana pudding tiramisu. Yes the dessert is about as naughty as it sounds, definitely sharing size. I've probably talked about the sweet treat more than anything else. The tri tip was cooked perfectly, it melted in your mouth, so good. The burger also had great seasoning to it, was rarer than what I would have likely but still quality meat. Onion rings had a nice crust to them, I'm not a huge onion ring girl, so I just had one - two but apparently one of the better ones that people have had if that's up your alley. The carrots were a nice veggie balance that were soft and flavorful and honestly gave you good portions of everything. I could share the 2 meat plate (and a dessert ;) ) and be very content. Would came back and love to come earlier to get different cuts of meat.

Very good BBQ, great burger. I arrived 35 minutes before opening on a Saturday and there were 30 people in front of me. By opening there were at least 50 people behind me. We were all in line for BBQ but should have been in line for the burger. Not only is the burger better than BBQ, there's a separate area to order non BBQ dishes. There was never a line there. Go straight to the bar and order a burger, onion rings, fries, and many other non BBQ items. You can also order these in the BBQ line but you'll be waiting a very long time. I remember liking the BBQ but not thinking it's a top tier. Most cuts are obviously good but in a way that you expect them to be. Even the fun flat iron and barbacoa cuts are worth a try but probably not second time. So it really is the burger pushing this to nearly a five star review. Otherwise the BBQ is a 4. There's tons of seating but not a ton of parking.

I've been wanting to try Leroy and Lewis Barbecue for a long time, and I finally had the chance to stop by. I visited during dinner time and got lucky with the only parking spot in the back of the building. The environment was great and relaxing, and they also have a little bar where you can grab a drink, which makes it a cool place to hang out. The food was delicious and really hit the spot, though the price definitely reflects the quality and popularity. I got a two-meat, two-sides plate, and it came out to almost $30 with tax and tip as of late 2025. By the time I arrived, some of their popular items, including the brisket, were already sold out, so I'll definitely have to come earlier next time. Overall, it's a great BBQ spot with good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a fun hangout vibe.

Suuuuper packed, as always! Decided to not wait in the +1 hr line and order their specialty burger. I was not disappointed. Just look at the thickness from that patty. I was pleased with the food. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The service was fast and everyone was so nice. It was SUPER hot inside the restaurant itself, but the cold water and drinks made up for that. Will definitely be back!

One of the best burgers I've ever had. It's a brisket patty with cheese, pickles, onions, and special sauce. The meat was so flavorful & moist. The bread was so soft, but not soggy. And the best part? It's only $10 on Mondays (it's regularly $16). Parking: Leroy & Lewis doesn't have a ton per se, but I've always been able to find a spot, despite it looking packed. The restaurant has PLENTY of seating.

In a Texas city that would lay claim to some of the best Texas BBQ in the state LeRoy and Lewis is certainly in the mix of the top 5. I made my way over last week and was not disappointed. While standing in line a couple guys behind me were talking to a guy that works there, asked him what not to miss and he said the beef cheeks and they sell out. Well, I got the beef cheeks and had to toss in that cheeseburger that I keep hearing about. Everything was a hit. And I might take beef cheeks over brisket. The burger was a beast. Meat, cheese, bun. Overall the pepper rub on the meats was a pinch more that I would choose, but respect the pit master and enjoy his hard work.

Two meat combo: Brisket and the Beef Cheeks while the sides are Frito Pie and Grain-Bow salad!

Amazing food. The brisket was great but the beef cheeks were the star and the waiter said that the cheeks are their most popular meat and sells out in a couple of hours. The frito pie is amazing...it includes chili made with their beef cheeks. If you want a healthier side, the grain bow salad is what you need. Lastly, I want to say that the wait time for lunch is far less than Frankin BBQ. Nothing bad about Frankin...deserves the acclaim, but Leroy and Lewis Barbecue is often rated better by many food publications! If you do t want to wait 3 hours, go to Leroy and Lewis's for Michelin Star BBQ.

Came back on a Sunday morning and waited in an 1.5 hour line. Not sure if I felt like the food was worth that long of a line so I would advise coming during the week when hopefully the line isn't too long. Did give the cookie a try and it's more savory than sweet which is a unique flavor for me. I did love the soft chew and crunchiness of it. I did order a frito pie while standing in line. It did help the waiting go by a little faster so if you do come when it's busy just order a snack at the counter.

chicken, miso carrots, and burnt ends cauliflower. Absolutely delicious!!

Definitely my favorite bbq restaurant I've ever been to! Apparently our 45 minute wait was very short compared to normal. There was a floater employee asking if people had any questions about the menu so things would keep flowing once you got up to order. When we did order, the employee was friendly as well. It's a well-oiled machine. Our family of 5 adults ordered practically everything on the menu and it was all top notch! I got the chicken, miso carrots, and "burnt ends" cauliflower which was perfect for me because I don't love typical bbq menus. Having lots of choices of veggie side dishes and salads was a pleasant surprise. There are several large dining rooms and even though it was busy, we were able to find seating without any problem. Staff came by and helped clear our dishes without making us feel rushed.

BEEF CHEEKS!!! I don't even enjoy fatty cuts like that but they just melt in your mouth so perfectly with a little sauce and a pickle. Saturday special Bacon Rib was also really good too. They nail the bark on everything here. I got the brisket entirely because I thought it would be sacrilegious not to do so in Texas but alas, I still don't get the obsession with it. It's good here, but I would get a sausage next time because those looked amazing on the cutting board. Sides were decent - Chori Papas had a nice spiced beef chorizo and the elote was nice and fresh - but I wasn't mindblown. The 'classic' sauce was fine but the standout was definitely the mustard sauce. Overall, I don't think I would wait in the Saturday line again but I'd absolutely wait 30-45 minutes for the beef cheeks.

I've been to this L & Ls 3 times and I don't get it. BBQ slaps in Texas and every time I leave here I feel like my wallet was robbed and I'm underwhelmed. How is there a Michelin star here??? A cute gentrified space in a south Austin neighborhood. She'd cute, modern and sleek, which is lowkey weird for a bbq joint. Service is always friendly and every time I go they're nearly out of 75% if their meats. Last time I went u got the steak frete special. And the steak was tender just the flavor was not it. I lived the tallow fries but $30 for a funky steak and fries was off putting. I may go back cause I've heard the beef cheeks are crème de la cream... Just not my cup of tea but it will do.

There is some picnic bench seating if you care to eat there, but each order is ready to take home You can also find a menu and other information posted on the outside. The menu mostly offers burgers, but there are a couple other offerings like a cheesesteak, partner, etc. The staff were very friendly and precessional. I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. Combos also come with a drink, but it's not a fountain drink it's in cans which they also bag for you Cheers!!

The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level.
