We noticed a roof leak dropping from the bathroom ceiling early morning on Tuesday, 10/14. I left a voice mail, and Andy called back soon afterwards. He was backed up, but could drop by to look at the situation on Saturday, 10/18. He called on Thursday, 10/16 to check if we were doing OK. On Saturday, he arrived on time. He was very friendly and informative. He is a good teacher and shared information while showing us various material to explain. He spent a lot of time investigating the problem thoroughly, and found what he believed to be the problem. Because he'd already uncovered the roof in that area, he decided to just do the work at that time, rather than schedule it for a few weeks when he had available time. This meant he had to delay his next appointment by at least an hour, maybe two, but we were very happy that we could get it fixed so quickly, before the next rain. He provided us with a HUGE number of photos and videos of our roof, taken with both his phone and his drone. They were very helpful in understanding what the problem was, how he fixed it, and other potential issues. He also gave us a few referrals to properly clean the roof of moss, fix gutter issues, etc., and suggested to cut down tree branches hanging over the roof. He also suggested we call him back next Spring to do a more thorough inspection, to take care of any issues he couldn't assess, due to too much moss (too slippery) in one part of the roof. Two decent rains have happened since he came, and my husband's quick check in our attic didn't show any water leaks. So it seems pretty certain that he did indeed fix the leak. I plan to update this review next year, after he comes back to perform maintenance on the rest of the roof. For me, Andy will always be my first (and only) call when I have a roof leak. read more

Check out these photos... This new year, 2023 has brought more rain to Northern California than anybody can remember... Andy found our roof leak right away on a cold Friday morning in January. He cleared away all the mud as the rainfall got him soaked but the roof didn't leak. In the photos, dry rot is visible above the leak area in the house. Bravo Andy! Thanks for a job well done. I give Andy high marks. I needed a ridge vent installed as my attic space had barely any ventilation to speak of. He came out, gave a fair quote and got to work in the heat of summer. After the work was done, Andy took the time to explain possible problem areas of my roof that I should be aware of in the future. I appreciated the extra bit of information, as all too often people take the roof over their heads for granted and don't think about it until it's too late. This review is way over due. Andy came out to inspect and repair the roof of a home I inherited last year. He took pictures and then emailed me a summary of a couple of areas of concern. We had Andy come out over the weekend. We suspected a roof problem had caused damage in our bathroom. He was very friendly and outgoing as he diagnosed the problem with my wife. He made a repair to a air conditioning condensing line which is kind of out of the scope of a roofer but was very much appreciated. He ruled out roofing issues and suspects our problem may be in the stucco work, he has reccomended a person who can do in depth diagnosing with an infared column, Although we didn't hire him for a project he is very honest, helpful, outgoing and customer oriented. read more

Andy is more than incredible and he will definitely exceed your expectations in every way. He never postpones any appointments. He tells you when he can get there and is on time. I so much appreciated that. During the estimate, he took many clear pictures of our roof challenges and explained in an email what must be done. Oh and his prices are very competitive. Andy first fixed a leakage problem for our home in 2014. We just had him fix a built-in problem which was caught early enough to not cause extensive indoor damage but would have if not caught by my wife. Knowing Andy had done a great job 5 years ago I called him and he shuffled his schedule enough to make my schedule problems go away, and he did another excellent assessment and repair/upgrade. Happy to know a good roofer! I called Galaxy Roofing after a rain storm and Andy said he could come out to look at my leaky tile roof on that following Monday. He took some pictures with his iPhone and showed me where the roof was leaking and all the leaves and the dirt. He explained to me how the rain was getting past the roof paper and dripping into my kitchen. We just had rain here last night. It was heavy at times and I thought of Andy. Andy was very quick in minimizing leak damage on our roof. When the weather broke he did a great job in repairing the years of leak damage. The great thing about Andy is that he is honest and personal. He takes the time to explain the who, what, when and where of your roofing situation.
