A horrible experience with a 3D movie. First, the movie started late and no one distributed the 3D glasses. That meant a run to the lobby to get a staff member to wake up and give out glasses. Once seated again, the realization that the seats and cup holders are broken, sticky, and the bad smell from the carpet is nauseating. Don't trust the food. Management needs to do something about this germ filled theater. Will never return. read more

I always enjoy date nights at the movie theater and really appreciate this one because they have pretty good food and beer selection.

The popcorn states it's "Hot Buttered Popcorn" and the "Popcorn" was cold and definitely was not fresh ‍ and the "Loaded Fries" was not fresh and hot... The price of paying for what you order is extremely high in order for it not to be fresh. I spent $25 for something that really was nothing. I had a 7:30 pm showing so i got here early. I went to sit at my seat first, the seats are not good. They are comfy but the one i was seating on was janky! I put the recliner out and it was making noises and stuff as if I was too heavy for it and it was also slanted! I got scared it was going to break and just sat in my seat normally. Next, when the commercials were on the fire alarm went off! Saying that there was a fire reported in the building and that we needed to evacuate. I was skepticak at first and stayed seated for a few minutes and good thing i did because the alarm just shut off after a bit There was also a piece of the frame from the screen that has come off on one side and it was in the way of the screen. probs not coming here again read more

I love this little hidden theatre! Don't get me wrong, if you're wanting a luxury theatre with nice food and drinks from a bar or someone to wait on you then this isn't it. But if you're looking for a good ole theatre that has less people and some really nice screens and chairs and a calm relaxing, well kept place to go, then this is the spot! I come to this theater 2 or 3 times per week and love the Mystery Movie Mondays! I've never left a review for a movie theater before, but wanted to personally thank the Manager, Kaam for being so sweet. She didn't let me take my hotdogs, as she wanted to make me fresh ones - personally brought them to my seat with a little tray of condiments, napkins, and it was just so sweet for a Manager to lead by example for the other employees. Often times when I come to this theater the employees / team members always go above and beyond and I greatly appreciate all of their hard work! Thanks again! read more

This theatre is a blast from the 90's, it has a cool space theme outside and in the lobby. The auditoriums all have reclining seats and a few have huge screens. Due to the location of this place I don't visit it as often as I'd like to , but If the movie I want to see is in screen x I will go out of my way to visit this place. Screen - x is an amazing large screen format we're the movie is projected all around you . I thought it would be distracting, but it isn't . It just makes you feel more attached to the movie . I hope this format expands in the Dallas area. This theatre does show an excess amount of commercials including between previews, which takes away from the experience. Prices of concessions are reasonable especially if you share a large popcorn. It's huge!!! They also have beer and wine . I do try to stay away from meals at theaters so I can't comment on other items . This might be hard to believe, but there was a time in the DFW area when amc ( which I also enjoy) was not the go to cinema chain. It was United Artist . This was before they became part of regal. The sign on the building still says United Artist, which really does make you feel you are back in the 90's. read more

We went for watching Guardians of the Galaxy with friends. The movie hall is a bit old so definitely lacks the new and shiny feel of Cinemark or AMC. We took one large popcorn for $10 and a medium drink for $7. The washrooms were not clean bu that could be because we went for a late show. Overall it was an OK experience. And the screen was also normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. read more

I'm not understanding why I'm standing in the concession line only to get to the counter and of all the types of pizza listed on the menu along with everything else and none of them are available?? Before I get to the front of the line, one of the managers actually walks over and tells me there is no wait at the other counter. I then ask is everything the same on the other side and he tells me I believe so, yes. I then ask, including the pizza? He tells me no, I don't think that is. Meanwhile I get to the front of the line and he walks back up to me and apologizes and says I'm sorry mam, I don't want you standing in line for no reason but we actually serve any pizza. I'm like but why so you have it plastered all over the menus?! He was yeah, sorry about that, I thought that sounded funny when you mentioned that. I'm thinking to myself so in other words this advertisement has been up for a while and you no longer have the product??!! I thought ok, I'll just have a hot dog even though that's not really what I intended but I see them on the roller grill. I ask the counter person for a hot dog and they tell me oh sorry we are sold out. I walk to the glass again to make sure I wasn't losing it because I saw these hotdogs on the roller grill when we walked in 15 minutes ago. At this point I just say nevermind, I guess I wont have anything then. Just out of curiosity, I ask the manager why am I looking at hot dogs on the roller grill and the counter person tells me they are sold out. He then tells me oh they just meant it takes a while for them to cook and they don't have any at the moment. So we take our seats. Ten minutes later my daughter decides to go back and check the counter that had hot dogs on the roller as well. By the time she got in front of the line, they were sold out. She comes back to her seat and decides to go back down after another 15 minutes and comes back disappointed again and says they told her still no hotdogs, they take a really long time to cook. I wasn't aware roller hotdogs take 30 plus minutes to cook.. Such a disappointment tonight watching Spiderman :( would have been nice to have food. PS: the floors were sticky in the theater, not as in someone wasted something, it was the entire floor was sticky as in someone mopped it with something sticky. read more

This is my favorite movie theater in Lakewood. At Northpark you have to deal with mall parking and lots of crowds. I'm usually annoyed by people talking during the movie or checking their cell phones. That never happens here! People are always respectful of the movie and if their children get noisy I've always seen them leave. It was already mentioned before but they have a kick ass sound system!! Awesome for watching all kinds of movies. It's also pretty clean for a theater and they have very reasonably priced concessions. They always have the new movies and because they have so many screens it's a good place to catch a movie that might have left smaller theaters. Great place! read more

Pretty straight forward movie theater here, clean, friendly staff, good quality and audio. The reclining chairs are super comfy - best recliners in a theater in the Dallas area I would say. The theaters are a bit small though, in comparison to others. I'd suggest buying your tickets and getting there early for the best seats. Thats all. Awful experience. Went to see Killers of the Flower Moon and there were a couple of people in the front row talking very loudly, the man even took a call on his phone. I went to complain about them, they would talk loudly during every quiet scene, and the employees did nothing about it. The other people in the theatre literally had to yell at them to quit. Really sad how run down this place has been getting year after year. After going here the past 20 years to see the biggest movies on one of the biggest screens in Texas, I can tell you this is no longer a functioning theater. I went to go see Spider-Man no way home, on the first show opening day and the film wouldn't start until an hour later due to technical difficulties. Major multi-plex theaters after Covid have been having this issue ever since theaters have been back up. This is no excuse to devalue the art of cinema and to completely kill my expectations for going to see a big movie on opening day. Never coming here again. read more

The theater auditorium itself was large and they kept it at a comfortable temperature. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, if the staff is under trained or what, but it was a 48 minute wait in the line to get refreshments. They had one register open, then finally two. The counter where they set the popcorn/ food/ drinks was wet and sticky, covered in popcorn, ice, and spilled soda. No one was attempting to clean any counter space and they were setting your food in this mess and letting you pick it up. We went on a Friday night the weekend a Disney movie opened, they really should have planned accordingly. read more

Booked tickets for a Fathom live event (Rifftrax Live.) The showtime was an hour later (8p)than all the other theaters (7p)carrying the event, but this was the only showing I could make after work. Called ahead to confirm that the show time was correct and was told it was. Arrived and there was no staff present in the theater. Granted it was a bit slow, but we had to yell "hello" a few times to draw someone from the back. Ticket taker finally emerged and directed us to our theater. Didn't even make it to our seats and we realized that the showing was already in progress. Went back up front and was told "oh yeah, some people complained so we had to start early. But we can give you a refund." I took the refund and watched the last 40 minutes of the showing, but a well planned night for me and my son was ruined because of someone's failure to double check info. read more

The building still has a United Artists sign hanging outside. I went to see The King's Man, they only have one showing per day. I get to the theater, they have 1 person working that I can see. The guy working the concession counter says that they have no soda or Icees of any kind available because of some issue (it was pretty vague), they only have Dasani bottled water . The only food they have is candy, nachos, and some suspect looking hot dogs. I'm glad I'm only visiting the area...I would be disappointed to have this as the only close "Regal Cinemas" near my home. read more

Love there comfy reclining seats there so well taken care of as well which is a plus! Theater was nice and clean so was an overall great atmosphere. They even have alcoholic beverages and a selective food menu. Which was an upgrade from the last time I saw a movie here. This place was so 90's! It reminded me of my childhood, it looked so old school. We were seated in a theater with recliner seats which were nice, and new. However, I was more bothered with the following: they don't turn off lights completely during the movie. The staircase lights are not covered to only light the floor, they are exposed entirely so you have a bright white light bothering you during the movie. I hear more of the static sounds on the sound system than actual movie sound. It was freezing. We will not return to this theater in the future. read more

Ended up at this theater because another theater sold out on the movie we wanted to see. Learned it's part of the regal group. The theater was tiny. Felt like watching the movie at a family home theater. The hall didn't dim all the way and the stairway lights were so bright that we had to put our knees up and sit side ways uncomfortably throughout the whole movie to block out the light. Decided to see Coco which was good btw. The theatre itself was clean. Staff was decent. Popcorn a bit on the salty side. Prices were ok..and by ok i mean they don't leave you feeling like you just spent your whole paycheck on a soda and popcorn. Spent under $14 for our sodas and popcorn. The seats were comfy. Always a good movie experience here, nice seats and screens, but don't try to order any other concessions besides popcorn, drinks or candy- they will not have it ready and you will be waiting past your movie start time even if ordering it 10-15 minutes before. I usually like coming here on Tuesday evenings and purchase the economy tickets. The seats are comfortable and the location is clean. However as I was walking up to the movie theater for a 10:40 showing I notice someone is locking the doors, at first I think " OK its for safety reasons its late, better be safe" but no. I was told that unless I had already purchased a ticket that the movie theater was closed, it was barely 10:40 pm. I don't know, to me this is just not right, I don't like purchasing tickets online because I don't want to pay the convenience fee. Upon further inquiry, I asked if this was a new policy since summer is ending, I was told not exactly but since many of the employees were starting school soon.... I mean I get it but still some people run late and know that trailers run for 20 minutes. Maybe management should stop playing functions so late so that their employees don't have to stay until 1AM instead of closing the doors at exactly 10:40 pm, just my thoughts. I was still able to see the movie which is good, so my recomendation to movie viewers visiting for the late night movie, COME EARLY!! or you will be turned away. read more

I'm a fan of the All-Stadium seating. The Screen X add entirely different dimension to your viewing. Do you have your normal center screen and at certain action points of the movie a Projects on the side walls and gives you 200° plus field of view. I've seen two movies in Screen X. I saw first a Spider-Man movie and it was fun seeing him swing from one side and then the other. Then I saw Maverick in Screen X. The flying scenes were spectacular, felt like I was flying at times. I love this movie theater. I drive quite a distance to see a movie here and pass several other theaters on the way. I only watch movies on their largest screen though and they only have 2 auditoriums with this huge screen. The screens are perfect for visual effects. The movie theather is very good but not fancy. I watched FF8 and the video and audio quality was great and the seats were very comfortable. In general it was clean. I didn't buy anything at the concessions so I don't know about that. The only problem I had was with a candy vending machine called "Sweet Amanda's". It's a very flashy machine with a lot of colors and many different candy options but DO NOT BUY anything from that machine, that thing is stealing money. I inserted a five dollar bill and it gave me a cup not even half filled filled! I added some pictures so you can identify and avoid that vending machine. read more

This theatre was the creme de la creme of movie theaters in the 1990's when I was like five years old. They were known as the biggest screen in Texas or something until competitors came in and wiped them out. Since then they upgraded their chairs. Its all leather recliners now! the price cannot be beat! it was so comfy and the theatre wasn't smelly like some of the old theaters. I would come by more often if I live around the area. There are bigger, and there are a few closer, but I've been going to this UA theater since it opened (mid 90s??) and it's my 'comfort zone.' Been there solo, with kids, with wife, with Dad, with friends, you name it. Going to the movies these days is not an inexpensive affair (see: $8.00 matinees, $7.50 kids), but when you do go, a clean, comfortable and pleasantly staffed facility is the expectation. I usually (read: always) skip the concessions since I'm cheap and don't eat that stuff, but from the look on my son's face after a bag of popcorn, all good in the hood. Always has the most recent releases, various size screens. Not a huge mega-plex, which is a plus and not located inside of a mall (see: Northpark), so it doesn't require a Sherpa to get there. HOT DOG TUESDAY YAAAAAA--um, why are there no hot dogs and only one concession line open for like a gazillion people. Okay, so this is the typical bait and switch. They advertise $2 hot dogs and $3 nachos--and by nachos I mean bag of chips and a Rico cup'o'cheese. However, when you get there they only have one concession stand open and the line is through the Six Flags maze and to the entrance of the theater AND there's two hot dogs which "aren't ready" according to counter-guy. I had nachos, small popcorn and medium Slurpee for $16 bucks. BAIT AND SWITCH. I don't think they intend to give you hot dog and nachos for $5. If I want to pay $16 for absolute crap I will go to Sonic and get food to sneak in. I have no problem paying a premium for movie food. I have a problem with scheming folks who offer you something with one hand and steal from you with the other. Shame on UA Galaxy 10. Other than that--I like the comfy chairs and the tickets are roughly $6. read more
