    Taco Salad

This location is near where I work and I've driven by it numerous times thinking I should try it. Today I was on my own and so decided to go for lunch. I really enjoyed my taco salad and the service was excellent. They were attentive without being overbearing. I had everything I needed throughout the entire meal. What more can you ask for? Good food, good people, good location. Also, I loved how they had the World Cup match on TV so I could watch it while I ate.

Food - ordered to go and service was quick and the food was ready quick but chicken nachos were slightly burnt, and then they were cold, although the food was ready quickly. I don't get it maybe pushed through broiler too quick. I would definitely give them another try.

I felt like the salsa was a bit off and the queso was watered down. My flautas were also very dry. The beans and guac were the highlight. I am from California so I might be too picky based on what I am used to....

Tried Abel's last night for the first time. It had good things and bad things let's start with the good. We were greeted promptly and seated right away on a busy Friday night. The menu is quite large offering quite a big selection so there is bound to be something for everyone. The chips and queso were nice. The salsa wasn't too spicy that my wife couldn't handle it. Our dinner came out very promptly and were correct. Now to the bad part the taste of both of our entrees wasn't bad but it wasn't nothing noticeable or new either. The fajita meet on my nacho tasted like old stew meat or reconstituted beef jerky. It wasn't bad but it wasn't really good either. I will more than likely give Abel's another try but I'll definitely be trying something different.

I had some DoorDash credits so I decided to use them for some street tacos from Abel's. I'm always leery ordering to go or on DoorDash because restaurants seem to try to swindle you. Well, Abel's wasn't the case at all! They filled each taco up and over exceeded my expectation with the side of guac and extra cilantro. Thank you to whom ever did my order!!

The food is great. The chicken fajitas meat was perfect well done. The guacomole and sour cream tasted right on point. The salsa is thin tomatoe like chips yellow corn crunchy fresh. The lettice was also fresh. Everything was excellent. Also they were professional when they took my order. A OPEN LATE NICEEE.. GOOD.. YUMMY

I had no idea of what I was missing out on! This place is truly off the hook delicious! My wife & I have been going to the sane dentist for over 15 years and often said we're going to try that place as we drove past year after year! For some reason or another we never did . . . until last week! If you like Mexican food then this is a must try! Our waiter was awesome, very patient while we decided what to order. I've got to go back sometime soon because the meal & service was so good! I ordered the Hot Burrito which I can only describe as epic! A monster burrito which I thought I could never finish . . . but somehow I did! Utterly fantastic! My wife ordered the Enchiladas which of course I had to taste! Very good! Like I said if you like Mexican this is a must try!

Had the California Burrito with chicken and wife had the Supreme Nachos with shredded chicken. Lunch crowd was laid back. Service is always on point.

It arrived as this dramatic, beautifully constructed tower of mixed seafood topped with avocado and a whole shrimp--definitely a dish that makes an entrance. The seafood seemed fresh, but I discovered that this particular style of mixed mariscos just isn't for me. Some of the seafood had a gray, translucent appearance and texture that I personally didn't enjoy. That may simply be characteristic of the preparation rather than any problem with the dish. I only tried this one item, so I don't think it would be fair to judge the kitchen more broadly based on my personal preference. What I can comment on much more definitively is the noise. It was extraordinarily loud. I eventually pulled out my phone and measured the sound level because I genuinely wanted to know whether it was as loud as it felt. I recorded levels exceeding 100 dB, with peaks around 103 dB. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Unfortunately, I could barely hear them. I enjoy energetic restaurants and certainly don't expect dinner to take place in a library. But there's a point where "lively atmosphere" becomes something prospective customers deserve to know about before deciding where to spend an evening. This crossed that line for me. If a very high-energy, extremely loud environment is your thing, you may have a completely different experience. If you're hoping to have a conversation over dinner without shouting across the table, I'd choose accordingly. Friendly staff, impressively presented food, and a seafood dish that simply wasn't my jam. But the volume overwhelmed everything else about the experience--and at 103 dB, that's not background music. That's the main course.

They have the robot that brings out food for you like at certain hot pot restaurants. The robot was not precise and it would stop at random table instead of the exact table where it should be. Could be because the restaurant is small for this robot or the set up was not good. Service was excellent. Server came to check on me four times. Plantains were great. The el mar which is a seafood combination dish and included lobster tail, shrimps, and a piece of salmon. The dish was really cheap, only $23.99. The shrimps and salmon were good. The lobster tail was not the most fresh. The meat at body end was soft/soggy. The mixed vegetables were frozen vegetables. Please never ever use frozen mixed vegetables. I would rather pay a little more for fresh vegetables. I didn't quite understand the use of salsa as there were no chips for it. There were tortillas but salsa and tortillas don't go together, am I right? Who knows? I didn't touch neither. This restaurant also has burgers, steaks, and pasta which I haven't tried. I feel like wether you give this a 4 or 5 stars all come down to what you order. An incorrect order will automatically knock it down to 4 stars. It is such a cool restaurant though. I wish Tulsa has something similar.
