    Americano & Coffee with Half/Half
    Gene B.

On a road trip (Sacramento bound), a stop in the city of Davis was in order. An Americano for her and coffee with cream for myself. Flavorful coffee with high-definition clarity. Plenty of seating available indoors and out. Ideal for group gatherings. Enjoyed lounging at the patio. It was relaxing with adequate shade. Appreciated the welcoming service! Looking forward on a future return.

I have tried this cafe 2 times and had different experiences: First time I went the staff were really friendly and my blueberry latte was a bit watered down and had little ice, but the flavor was good. However, the WiFi was not working at all. I tried to load pages across an hour before giving up and going home. I did really enjoy the lighting and bright atmosphere so I felt like giving it a second chance. My second time, I tried a cold brew. I think the ratio with ice was better this time, but the coffee was a bit too sour for my preference. The cashier was friendly but the barista was less so. The WiFi worked well for me but not for my friend, maybe it's just inconsistent and dependent on what you are trying to load? I haven't tried the pastries or food yet but I would recommend coming to meet friends, people watch, or just look out the window at the fall leaves.

I enjoyed studying here! They have wifi but Canvas doesn't work through it (probably because of privacy) but I enjoyed my experience here. Tried the Strawberries and Cream Matcha with Oat milk which was OK. I liked the cream but could not taste too much of the matcha. Also tried the London Fog Latte with oat milk which was delicious! The carrot loaf was also really good. Always love a good coffee place with good studying atmosphere. There's also restroom, indoor and outdoor seating. It feels less cramped because of the high ceilings. Service was also okay. Would come here again!

Tons of parking. Bright and modern interior. Their baked goods and food selection are great. I have consistently enjoyed their lox bagel. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to chat with a friend or get work done!

First off the space has the most GORGEOUS bright clean open space with huge windows and fluffy benches. I love a white coffee shop vibe. The barista totally had my back when I asked about her faves and wanted suggestions. I got a delish vanilla brown sugar flat white that I'd order 100 times over. Also the savory food options are pretty great. Illl be back to try pastries and more seasonal coffee drinks for sure.

I am glad that a World Traveler Coffee Roasters arrived in Davis. Especially a coffee shop in the Oakshade Town Center (It is at the same location as Common Grounds Coffee that closed a few years ago). They are in their soft opening so I'd say there are some fine touches to work through, but everything seems smooth so far. I've been to the one in Roseville at the Galleria and the aesthetic is the same with it's blue velvet chars and light wood tone throughout. The coffee shop features coffee, tea, some specialty coffee drinks, as well as pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I had their almond croissant (heated) with a Brown Sugar Latte with Oat Milk and my partner had a Blueberry Black Tea (brewed, not tea bag) with Rose Syrup, Iced and a Plain Cream Cheese Bagel (didn't have chive cream cheese) with some honey. The Brown Sugar Latte was perfect for me as it wasn't too sweet. The blueberry was refreshing, although the rose wasn't too prevalent. There is a nice seating area towards the back. There are small tables along two walls with a long bench that surround a long table that seats 8 (presumably for communal use). There seems to be ample power plugs underneath the benches. We went in the morning around 9am and the sun heats you up if you are in the sun's rays. I believe you bus your own plates and cups but it wasn't super clear. There is also wifi, but I didn't use it. All in all I hope this place continues to be great and turn into an nice coffee shop in South Davis.

Nothing beats an iced latte with unique flavors. Great service and beautiful ambiance. World Travelers always delivers.

Beautiful cafe with great outdoor patio and large indoor seating area. Service was friendly and efficient. My daughter got the strawberry shortcake Macha. It was excellent and had just the right amount of sweetness (not overly sweet) with natural flavoring that I could taste. I had a cappuccino and it was perfect. The milk was thick and foamy like I have not had before. I told them it was the best. This place puts emphasis on high quality ingredients and craftsmanship per their website and you can taste this . I will be back soon to try their foods.

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

Downside is that there doesn't seem to be AC, so it was quite warm inside. I ordered a matcha pandan which I noticed was whisked fresh. It tasted legit but was crispy and not oily which is not the usual for latik. Overall, the matcha was subtle in flavor, but the drink made for a nice study treat! I ordered one to take home. I requested they take out the ice, so it didn't get watered down. Without having to ask, they put the latik in a separate cup, so it didn't get soggy on the road. Amazing service!

They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.

I like that their drinks seem to be more about the quality of the tea versus having a ton of different flavor options. They open at a time I think is somewhat late in the day on weekdays (12pm), and there tends to be a least a few people waiting to get in by the time noon rolls around. Order at the kiosk. I've been getting the Cape Jasmine with Coconut Cream whenever I'm here (but do plan to try something new next time). The coconut cream really adds a lot to the drink, in my opinion, especially since I lowered the sweetness level. At Molly Jasmine, I do recommend keeping a higher sweetness level because otherwise the tea tends to taste a bit more bitter at first. The cream did blend into the drink to help balance out the taste, but as someone who tends to think drink / milk tea places tend to be overly sweet, you're drink likely won't be sweet enough if you reduce the sweetness at Molly Jasmine. So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.
