Delicious breakfasts both times. Homemade hollandaise on the benedicts. I had the salmon eggs Benedict the first day and the crab cakes Benedict the second time. We came in a big party and they sat us down right away. Service took a bit but i understand because it was the middle of brunch. The food was good, we all enjoyed our plates. However, one of the members in our party did find a couple stands of hair in his plate. He sent that back, the waitress was very nice and apologetic about it. He still did not choose to eat anything else. These things happen sometimes that is why i am not saying to never go to this place. Not many places around here to eat. Amazing! Crab Cake Benedict was delicious - moist, but firm, crab cake with perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce that was smooth and just enough lemon. Yum! My son's veggie omelette was huge and full of a variety of veggies. My hubby and daughter loved the fluffy pancakes, too. Grilled banana bread was yummy. Sad face when we arrived and discovered on weekdays they only serve breakfast until 11:30. But still a tasty meal. Good burger, I had the vegetarian wrap (lettuce, tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto, avocado, red onions). Nicely seasoned steak fries. Heading back from Key West, I found this place on here and thought it'd be great to stop for breakfast. We did but encountered very rude staff who couldn't handle the various parties looking to catch a quick bite. Seems like they just care about the locals and are ill-equipped for large groups. Tried the crab cakes, conch chowder, mahi mahi sandwich, and the key lime pie. Everything was really great. I only had a bite of the crab cakes because I was trying a friend's and I immediately regretted not ordering them myself. They were the freshest thing I ate my whole weekend in the keys. I ordered the trio which was an amazing deal (I almost didn't see it on the menu) for $17.99 you get the chowder, sandwich, and pie. The chowder was tomato based and had a lot of conch chunks. I also tried the seafood chowder (which was a little better than the conch chowder). The mahi sandwich was really good. The fish was finely grilled and very tasty. Then there was the pie. It was amazing. I wanted to pie a whole pie and take it home. Definitely try it. The atmosphere is laid back and the service was friendly. read more

I have never ever thought of writing a negative review about another person but I am just in utter shock with the way I was just treated by one of the servers named ADDIE. She was not our personal server, Tina was, and she was incredible. However, ADDIE ran our food to our table and I noticed that there was no cream cheese for mine and my friends bagel, which is not a big deal at all. I asked Addie before she walked away if she could grab us some cream cheese because it was accidentally forgotten and she stormed off cursing under her breath. She came back with the cream cheese and aggressively threw 4 packages of them all over our table from feet away instead of walking over and placing them down. I got up to grab some hot sauce and I saw her smirking at me so I asked her what her name was and she told me ADDIE. When we were paying for our meal with our sweet server Tina, Addie came over laughing and said "I know you don't like me but you have cream cheese in your hair" and I said okay thank you and told her I didn't like the way she had treated us and she practically laughed at me saying that I "demanded it." Never in my life would I ever demand something from anyone, I work in a restaurant and know how to kindly speak and treat people and that is not the way. I really hope someone reads this and releases her from her job because someone like that doesn't deserve to have a job at such a great breakfast spot. A simple "I'm sorry" goes a long way. read more
