Cute little spot for coffee and sandwiches and pastries. The service was awesome. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. My girlfriend and I got a guava pastry. It was huge and delicious.

As a pet owner, this was a no brainer to visit while in key west! We stumbled across Georgie's while on our trip in the Keys with our pup, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our stay in Marathon. First off--super pet-friendly, which is always a win in our book. They have treats right in the front for your furry family member! The outdoor seating is perfect if you've got your furry friend with you. There is plenty of shade, great views of the one road ( US-1) , and very palm filled, Keys-style atmosphere that made it easy to just hang out and enjoy. We had the croissants at 11$ , a bit salty for my taste but fresh and flavorful. No added sugar to the croissant I noticed and made with real butter. The coffee was really good as well as the decaf! Service was friendly and laid-back (in a good way), and our server made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, it's the kind of place you're grateful is open at 6 am in a sea of expensive restaurants that inhabit the area that maximize tourism spending. If you're in Marathon with your pup, Georgie's should absolutely be on your list. Bonus points if you read Georgie's story on the wall and see her friends!!!

Cute little coffee shop in Marathon Key.... Lattes were good (ask for hotter milk!), as were the chocolate and guava cheese croissants! Staff were super friendly, and service was fast! Doggie-themed coffee shop, pets welcome, dog pic wall included. Free doggie treats available for pets! Namesake Georgie's story is in the wall. Location was very clean, well kept and up to date. Nice outdoor seating available. Recommend Georgie's!

Came here 3 times during our stay in Marathon. If that doesn't tell you how much I loved them I don't know what will! Really good lattes and love the options. Also, didn't get a chance to try their pastries but they were massive!!

Coffee tastes great. The customer service was amazing. I got coffee here for a week straight, trying different things each time, and the staff remembered me and talked to me. They were nice and made a delicious coffee. A little expensive, but ‍ I think it was worth it.

Super cute coffee shop in Marathon Key! We were staying close by and needed some breakfast and found this spot. We had our doggo with us which matched perfectly with the casual, coffee shop vibe, and the mascot Georgie! The light blue cafe has tons of parking outside and outdoor parking. The ladies working the front were super friendly and we decided on 2 lattes and 2 bacon, egg and cheese croissants. The medium lattes were huge! And same of the sandwiches. We will definitely be back again for breakfast soon.

We enjoyed our coffee. He got a Georgie special and I got a breve latte. Our total was $17.

This little stop was good for a coffee break. It was nice to talk to the barista. She was very friendly. The place was clean and had a cool story.

We came on a Saturday morning. It was busy to where there's a line outside. The inside is small, and the wait was long. The coffees made up for it! I got 3 lattes, a bacon egg and cheese croissant and a beef empanada. That was $47. A bit pricey but atleast everything was delicious!

This small little coffee shop really packs them in with the sweet, the savory, and the caffeine. They offer the standard hot, iced, and frappe style coffee drinks with regular and alternative milk options. The food options available were a variety of pre-made croissants and beignets (more like large donuts). They are known for their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich , and I think they are kind of prepped ahead as well. My husband said it was ok. I had the spinach and feta croissant which was tasty, but needed a bit more filling. My son had the Nutella Beignet, which he enjoyed. We also tried the Key Lime version, but feel it needed more yummy filling. The drinks were decent, and pretty standard. The prices were moderate, comparable to that other popular coffee chain, and not exactly what I was expecting. Seating is limited, especially if raining, as most of seating is outside. The staff of 2 were friendly and doing their best. It is definitely a good choice for on the go, but not a quick grab, if crowded. I would rate 3.5 if I could, instead of 3, but maybe next time we can give it another try.

Headed home from marathon and we needed some coffee so we stopped at Georgie's. The place is very simply decorated, giving modern keys vibes. I asked if I could get two iced latte with white chocolate and cinnamon (I noticed that they had Ghirardelli syrups, so I had to try it) and two chocolate milks for the girls. They prepared it quickly and were very nice. The coffees are really freaking good and the girls really liked their chocolate milk. I will definitely stop by again on our next trip to the keys.

My husband ordered the ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. We split it but the first thing we noticed it was huge. The sandwich was served on Cuban bread that they bake fresh themselves, and it was some of the best bread I've ever had; light, flaky, perfectly golden brown, and incredibly fresh. Every ingredient tasted fresh and homemade, including real eggs cooked to order, not the processed "fake" eggs you find in so many places. Be sure to save room for one of their homemade pastries. Like the bread, everything is baked in-house, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. The coffee was equally impressive; rich, smooth, and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with breakfast and kept me coming back for more. What really sets LJ's Café apart, though, is the atmosphere. This is a true mom-and-pop establishment where family and friends work together. From the moment you walk into the small storefront, you're welcomed like family. The service is warm, genuine, and makes you feel right at home. And here's an added bonus for Florida travelers: the air conditioning is fantastic! After visiting several places in Marathon, we definitely appreciated being able to enjoy our meal in a cool, comfortable environment. I can't rave enough about this wonderful spot. If you're passing through Marathon, make sure your schedule allows for breakfast or lunch because those are the only hours they're open. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We got there early morning and there was only one other couple there. We walked around to check out the place before we made our way to the counter to order. They were busy cleaning tables and getting everything ready outside. It was fun to walk around the almost jungle like atmosphere. A couple chickens were walking around too. They have fun tic tac toe boards as several of the tables that can entertain you while you wait for your food to be delivered. We ordered and found a seat at a large table in the back section near the restroom. None of us were certain what we were ordering but I think everyone was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered to our table. I had two baked eggs with chorizo and mozzarella, a hashbrown and a slice of their "famous" coco bread. The eggs were served in two individual foil tins and were delicious. It was almost like a poached egg. You get your choice of two toppings from several options. The bread comes toasted. It wasn't bad but I didn't think it was anything overly special. The hasbrown was almost baked like a casserole and it was a great accompaniment for the eggs. My friend ordered their mango pancakes and she loved it. My husband also ordered a breakfast with a bit of everything and it had a pancake too. He said it was his favorite thing. It also looks like it was baked in a tin and the turned out. It's super thick and very cake like looking. They both said it was light and delicious. Everyone that got the bacon including myself enjoyed it. When I was trying to pick between the sausage or bacon option the gal taking my order said both were good but that they cut their own bacon so I had to try it. It definitely wasn't your typical breakfast bacon! Everyone enjoyed their food and some of us even had some leftovers to bring home for the next day. The beauty of that was the food is served in a to go container so taking it home was effortless. We would definitely come back. I'd like to try some of the trucks in the back at lunch for the fish tacos. Maybe next time.
