Place is Awesome, so many games and so much game knowledge. The owner is awesome. Too bad the management at the mall is terrible, because he should have a lot more traffic because of what he offers. They put the store in a bad location.

This import copy of Final Fantasy X-2 International was probably the only coolest thing in the PS2 shelf, so I took it!

I've never been or even heard of this place. It's spring cleaning time which we found some old game…read moreconsoles that's been tucked away in storage. Years since I've last played any kind of videos games. Plus I'm not a gamer so if the cleaning didn't happen, I'm sure it'll still have been put away. Instead of just trashing, they were still in great condition. We found this place, called them to see if they would buy old consoles which they do. It's in a little strip mall with a couple parking spot. Walked in and the first thing you see are video games and more videos games. Literally any kind of consoles and the massive selection of games on deck was insane. Like I said, I'm not a gamer but if you are, I'm sure you'll have loads of fun. There was two section, first was the video games areas. Glass counter filled with games of all sort. Old school Nintendo , Gameboy, and whatever consoles else there were. Loads and loads of video games. The other section seemed to have loads of games as well but also served the collection of cards. Instead of your baseball cards, there were Pokémon and more. Also a few arcade games which I don't know if it was for purchase of use. Everyone working was very sweet and friendly. They checked to see if the consoles still worked which they did. Also we had some games which they took as well. I didn't expect much of it as they were old school but we did get some cash out of it. If it wasn't a go with them, we would have just tossed or donated them. But glad to find out that this places does buy old video games consoles and it's a massive collection of items. Plus lots of anime stuff.

I've had a disappointing experience here at Videomen and have been holding off on writing my review…read moreuntil now. I took my childhood Nintendo DS Lite to Videomen to get the top screen fixed as it was broken. I've been waiting for years to get the screen fixed and was excited to finally see it happen. When I came to pickup my DS, I noticed there was a popped pixel on the new screen. I told the guy who was working there who I think is the owner that there is a popped pixel and if he could install a new screen. He said he couldn't do that and all replacement screens have popped pixels. I ended up paying and still have a defective screen. I would never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

AVOID this business…read more First red flag: the storefront looked abandoned, like it had been through an earthquake. I should have walked out immediately, but I didn't--and that mistake cost me. My PS5 fan connector broke and needed to be re-soldered to the motherboard. The owner said he'd diagnose it for $30 and let me know if he could fix it. A few hours later, he called back and told me he had already "fixed" the console--but now the fan would be "a little louder." Huge red flag. Any professional would update the customer and get approval before moving forward with an unorthodox repair. While my PlayStation technically works, the fan now runs at full speed and sounds like a vacuum cleaner--unbearably loud. With how hard the fan is spinning, I seriously doubt the console's longevity. When I called to ask for an explanation, I got a vague half-answer and was told to "just turn up the TV volume" to drown out the noise. Absolutely ridiculous advice. I've attached a photo and video for proof. Curious about what was done, I opened the console and found a sloppy, makeshift repair and a note taped inside in Sharpie that read "do not open." Unbelievable. On top of that, I'm pretty sure they deleted a save file from a game I had poured hundreds of hours into. For the record, I'm not a "Karen." I support small businesses that do quality work and communicate honestly. But if a repair can't be done without major tradeoffs, tell me upfront so I can make my own decision. Avoid this place. Find a reputable electronics repair shop instead. Edit: If you want a preview of the kind of person you'll be dealing with, read the owner's response to negative reviews--full of name-calling, excuses, and petty deflection.

I'n not entirely sure what this guys problem was that day, but boy did I have a poor experience on…read morethe phone with one of the guys that work here. I'm a private Pokémon card collector that has never ventured into the world of buy/sell/trade, so I decided I'd call a few shops in the area to see what they'd recommend, and this is exactly how this conversation went. Guy answers phone, i asked him if he had a minute to answer a couple questions i had. "i mean i have a few people I'm helping right now but yeah sure" I proceed to explain that i was looking for guidance or advice on how to offload my extensive Pokémon card collection as I'm moving out of the area, and i was wondering if they had a buyer or something of the sort that would sit down with me and run through it to see what they're willing to buy, etc. He responds, "oookay. Are you planning on paying someone for that?" Confused, i asked what he meant? "Basically what I'm getting at is no, we don't do that. I have a guy here that's really knowledgeable about that kinda stuff but i wouldn't wanna waste his time" I thanked him for his "candid" (read: completely rude) response and that i would look elsewhere. Needless to say I'll never step foot here again.
