This Gamestop is pretty good it's located in Pearlridge Uptown 2nd floor. The employees are really helpful but more towards when you get to the register. When not so busy they walk around seeing if you have any questions or need help. When you get to register on busy days they help you with your questions you have, updating you with new games coming out, and update you with upcoming sales. Overall really good staff, prices can be crazy unless sales are happening, and really good location if in the area. read more

Located in Pearlridge Uptown 2nd floor, this gamestop is now the only one in the mall. I think the employees here are very blunt about wanting to help you. We brought in some games we didn't think would be valued much and left with $100. However, if you are looking for some help perusing, you probably won't find it here. They are usually so busy at the register, they don't have time to come out and walk the floor. In my opinion, gamestop has a good hold on the business of trading games without much competition, but this is one of the better ones thanks to the spirit the employees share. read more

This review is based on the customer service we received when we tried to get a copy of a receipt from about 1 year ago. I was VERY satisfied with everyone we interacted with (we ended up talking to 4 different workers, including the person we spoke to on the phone before we showed up). It took about 20 minutes to get the copy of the receipt but we got it! The process went as the person on the phone said it would. We got accurate information, which sadly, is very rare, so I was happy when things went smoothly. Will be happy to do business here more often! read more

The one thing I complained about the PearlridgeDowntown GameStop location is that it was so very small.. One of the smallest I've seen. To counter that, this GameStop has to be one of the biggest I've seen.. granted, It wasn't always a GameStop (go software etc.!) but really, It can sometimes feel like they have too much space in there, even more so compared to the completely crammed Downtown location just a ($.50) monorail away.. I bet they could just add an entire retro section, and still have some spare space.. but, With all this space, you should be able to find what you're looking for, right? well, Of course! Unless you're finding something old and/or rare, there's a slim chance that you will/won't find it used.. I found some good stuff here before my flight back to the mainland (which i really should have bought to make the time pass, ah), and it seems like the employees are always having a good time, talking story and what-not just about any time I stop by.. overall, Just another GameStop on the island that you can stop by when you're mall-crawling and want to pick up a new game.. read more

We were there 2/21/18 at around 4:30 and there were two girls working at that time. Kaci was the one that was able to help us while the other girl was helping other customers. They were BOTH so knowledgeable and HELPFUL! Never once did we feel pressed into getting a console. We were asking so much questions about 3 different consoles, they were really patient with us, but with the information we got from them we decided on getting our first Nintendo Switch. Yesterday on a Saturday afternoon, store was full with only 1 cashier. I was asking the cashier for help with Cricket Wireless. She said she was sorry had no idea about Cricket Wireless. She then asked another associate who did know how to do Cricket Wireless. Long story short, IF YOU Know how to do something and someone else doesn't, doesn't it make sense to trade places with the other person?? All I can say is I've been a long time customer of this business. And I'm a little pissed off that the employee wouldn't sell ma a copy of the December issue of Game Informer magazine. I got some nonsense about only plus members can have the magazines that's in the store, even though it clearly has a sale price on it. Came here to get a new game for my other half. We were just browsing around at first. She's very welcoming greeting every customer that walks in. As soon as we checked out we went to her. She gave us an insight of the game we bought. She really knows her stuff. Very knowledgable and very friendly. Give her props to know every single game here. i came here a few months ago to buy some prince of persia games because i was really into the series at the time. i went with my bf and had forgotten my id in the car, the guy helping me seemed really nice and i was chatting with him while the other guy got my games and my bf went looking around the store. This will be my all time favorite and most preferable GameStop. I literally grew up going and cruising around this place from my Super Nintendo Days till today. I remember when this place was called Software Etc. Now that was the bomb. Although they move stuff and around and the technology of games and systems get updated as generations of gaming goes by, the store still has it's swag. The staff and customer service is and are always on top of it with all of your gaming questions and needs. I always wanted to work here when I was young but I don't think I am Gamer enough to do so despite my life long love of video games and gaming. Not only do they sell video games and systems but sometimes they sell other products like playing cards, toys, novelty, etc. The prices are decent. I bought the Nintendo Switch here and the salesperson tried to sell me about 5 accessories and 2 different warranty plans, spewing out the details like a robot. She told me I needed a case because the screen was made of GLASS. Looked it up on the internet, it's made of PLASTIC. Where do I start? I don't go to GameStop often, but have bought games from them before. It seems the quality of the company is slipping more and more. Besides the company, the customer service I experienced was down right embarrassing. I went in with a friend and was told of a deal that made the gentleman take a breath to finish. "Buy two D's games get one free, buy two Xbox games get one free...ect" so we searched the store in our different sections for 20 minutes. It was overwhelming, there were so many games to choose from, but it didn't help that one lady behind the counter kept looking at us with scorn. Then the young gentleman came over 6 more times (I started counting because it was getting so annoying) to pester me, ask me questions and sell me games. Finally, we have our selection and we stand in the slowest line ever to be helped by one of the rudest ladies ever. Could be the store manager, receipt reads Alex. Anyways, "Alex" notified us that the discount doesn't apply to 3DS games, or Xbox1 games. Now we're irritated, how can you watch us and help us pick the items out for 20 minutes, just to wait for us to get to the register to tell us it doesn't apply? Whatever, we buy the games anyways. I had two used games and was forced to buy the NEW Super Smash Bros for $39.99 because they didn't have the used one available. So we leave broke and feeling ripped off. After 6 days I went to return the items, realizing what a big mistake I made and not much to my surprise, it was the same two ladies behind the counter. The other being Brittney, who in my opinion, is much more professional than her older colleague, Alex. Alex tried embarrassing me by loudly saying "so you're rage quitting" loudly, multiple times. Not worried because, yes, that is exactly what I'm doing. I got all of my money back for the used games, except when Alex asked if I wanted it in cash or store credit, I said "cash" and she responded "it's going to be less now." Which I replied "how much less?" I went from getting $27.92 to $21.92 back. Where did the $6 go? I'm utterly confused at this point. When it comes to the new game, Super Smash Bros which I bought for $39.99, 6 days ago, I had to trade it in and ended up getting $20 for it. I lost $26 and 30 minutes of that day, and they keep asking me if I want to pay to upadate my PowerUp Rewards, I'm sure if the company stopped stealing money from me, I might be able to afford it. Shopping online from now on, have been writing this while waiting to talk to corporate, it's been 76 minutes already, thank goodness I have all day! read more

Went to return a game that I got as a gift that was for the wrong system. Instead of offering me a exchange or even a store credit remotely close to the original cost they offered me $8 for my game on Xbox 360 towards the same game on ps3 for $60!
