Small deli serving sandwiches and salads. First time visit to this fast food deli. Four small tables and 4 stools at a counter. There is also Al fresco seating available. Orders are taken at the counter and brought to you. There is a beverage counter to get free refills at. The squeeze and I shared a Taxi Driver. I ordered the meal with a drink and macaroni salad. I thought $15 was a bit pricy for a samminch, but understood it when it was delivered. This was plenty of food for two. This thing was stuffed with a lot of pastrami, I am guessing a 1/2 pound. The meat was delicious on its own, and the condiments killed it. See photo description. The Mac salad was good, cooked al dente, nice and firm with great flavor. My husband and I , have been here now 3x WOW!! Super generous with there Bread , meats, on these sandwiches just so delicious! Customer service is super friendly. Small area to sit inside ...they also have patio tables and chairs! Hopefully as it starts to warm up umbrella's or some sort of patio coverings go up....it would be a huge help to enjoy the hot days! However, if you are over by Scheels area in Meridian give this place a shot it's so good!!!! So far I have eaten the Italian twice & The Broadway once! Happy Customer! read more

Brought my wife here because she loves pastrami sandwiches and a friend had recommended this Gandolfo's. Turns out they don't prepare the pastrami the way she likes so she got a "Coney Island" hot dog instead. Small dog, huge bun. Costco hot dogs are better at a fraction of the price. Service was good, place was clean. We didn't eat in. Dont think we'll be back. read more

I just relocated to Meridian and this place is solid. I used to go to a mom and pop shop in Corona Del Mar and I was super bummed when I left. Gandolfo's has good bread and the meat portions are pretty solid. Let's go Gandolfo's! read more

It was ok - they didn't have Philly (they were out‍) ‍- got Mac salad and was decent - got the "new york liberty and it was good - 6" filled you up , definitely messy but good ! got tea because soda machines either didn't work or weren't filled ‍ - went to wash hands afterwords and no paper towels to dry off‍ - definitely needs some attention to detail - I might try again in the future and see if they get things right read more

The bread was hard and no flavor at all on the 2 sandwiches we got & macaroni salad. $43 for 2 meals that neither one of us were able to eat. I mistook this location for the one on Fairview Avenue, that is where this review is meant for, my apologies to the Vanguard location and staff. I just stopped by this Fairview location to give this place a try, I wasn't greeted when I entered although I was the only one there and the space is small. A young woman then appears and asks if she can help, I say give me a few minutes to go over the menu, I make my choices and wait at the counter while watching a young man doing prep work, he doesn't acknowledge me so I wait a minute for the woman to come back. I order a Philly steak sandwich, sorry, can't do that cuz no grill but a small sticker that says " Ten Mile "is next to that choice like everyone knows what that means. Can't do it, take it off the menu, don't put a little sticker by it!! So I had also ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on a hoagie bun, I asked for another ham and cheese and add turkey, I literally had to explain it to the young woman that it was two sandwiches, told her I wanted them cold three times, finally I pay and she goes to make them, oops we're out of the hoagie bread do you mind sourdough, I said no assuming that it would still be hoagie bread, then she asked if I wanted all the same bread on the sandwich as she pulls sandwich bread out and it looks to me like wheat as it was a darker brown compared to sourdough white. At this point I said whoa, I wanted hoagie bread, sorry,we're out I'm told. This is when I said to cancel my order as I had to walk the girl thru my order only to be asked to change it cuz of no grill but then because they can't keep track of what they have in stock, bread to me would be an important one for a sandwich store. And now for the topper, I ask for the receipt that shows I was credited for the $35.00 that I was charged, finally the man says we credited it, but can't give me the credit receipt, so he reprints the same charge slip and tells me this is the credit yet it is clearly a duplicate with a QR code that he said would show me the credit, nope it is a receipt that asks if you want to split the check??? So no credit issued and when I questioned it he kicks me out of the store and threatened to call the police and trespass me. Because I wanted proof of the credit I was being kicked out and threatened with trespass for wanting to be sure that I was credited. I asked for the phone number that was not provided on the receipt and was told to google it, and that his mommy was the manager. Love to tell you about the sandwiches, but apparently they don't have the right stock to fill orders from their own menu. I wouldn't leave any stars but have to leave one for bad measure. read more

So sad to visit one of my favorite places and it's so poorly managed that there are 2 people working here. So understaffed. The woman in the back was doing her best and made delicious sandwiches however you cannot run a store like this with 2 people. I originally went here with hopeful expectations but they were soon to be shot down right as soon as we enter and picked up our food the refrigerator area at the front counter didn't seem to be working so the macaroni salad was lukewarm same with the banana pudding which to my surprise was also warm and when opened smelt awful like spoiled milk service was not the best either when told about how to salad was warm the lady at the front still insisted on how it would be ok for consuming very disappointing. I used to like this place okay.. I don't know what changed but it's really just gone down hill. Every time I go they make my sandwich wrong. I called last time to try and get a partial refund bc I couldn't eat it and he said "he would ask a manager and get back to me" and then just never did. I went back to give them another chance and it's just not good. Their bread always seems stale and it's strange to me that they only toast the meat and not the bread? First time, last time customer. My gosh. Update your posted menu prices or honor the posted prices on big screen TVs right behind the register. $8.59 for a salad on the menu...charged $12.50. A $4 price increase (50%) and when asked why, was told, "menus are 4 years old, we're working on updating but it's a slow process." Uh... it's a TV graphic. It would take a few hours. Not hard. Maybe use your 50% menu increases to hire a graphic designer? I see from other reviews it's been like this for close to a year. That's just crappy management and makes me irritated for your employees who have to continually explain and apologize to customers why their orders are more expensive. Just shows a massive lack of care from the first minute of interaction. It's probably a huge moral dumpster for the employees as well and could be the cause of all the wrong orders that are talked about here. They are offering me a free 6" sandwich for this review. I won't be accepting that because I won't bother coming back. Your laziness is not my problem. Also, the salad sucks. I like to give restaurants two tries. I went when they first opened and they got my order wrong.ok, it happens. My bad for not checking my order before heading home. Today I went after work because I was craving a corned beef sandwich. I pulled up to the drive through and sat for a few minutes. No one was there so I pulled to the window. After a few minutes someone opened the window and said they were closed. I was shocked because it was only 5:15. It would have been nice if there were a sign with the hours. I can't be the only one that has sat in the drive through waiting to order. Again though... 5:15? Down the road I went. Great new location off I-84 and Ten Mile! They even have a drive-thru! I went inside to get photos and was greeted by a cheerful woman who took my order of a 6" cold Brooklyn Bridge on a hoagie roll. That's where I have my first issue. The bread to insides ratio is too much bread. I found myself peeling away the bread throughout my sandwich. The sandwich was also very dry, I didn't find much mayo, they use shredded lettuce which is fine, but I only got like 6 shreds, so there was no crispness from lettuce. I did not taste any salt or pepper either, maybe that's why my order was done so quickly, they didn't make it like they should. The turkey meat was quality and the bacon was real bacon they cook themselves, although it was cold. Overall, I'm sure many people love this place, it's just ok for me. I probably won't be back but I would still recommend people go there. read more

I hate to write bad reviews about a business, but this was just a really unfortunate first experience. I ordered my sandwich without mushrooms and mayo. They slathered my sandwich with Mayo and also forgot the oil and vinegar and the lettuce. I had to add my own lettuce at home. We also realized after we got home we got overcharged by 8 dollars? Weird. Then, my boyfriend checks his sandwich that was supposed to come with BBQ sauce and Bacon... missing both. I wouldn't go back honestly.. which sucks because I live so close by. read more

Coney dog is supposed to have kraut as one would expect in 'New York'. There was barely a teaspoon of it. I had to lift the dog to see if kraut was actually included. I could go on. Something is very wrong with this location. The other meridian location is held at a higher standard. The last time I came to this store, my hot sandwich was ice cold. I ordered the gandolfo and the cheese was melted but still so cold. I wish the flavor and the service could be better but my guess is they aren't paying staff enough to really be good at their job.
