I was in an antique store and found myself hungry and this quaint little sandwich house was right next to it. I really enjoyed the variety of sandwiches especially the sliders. I had the Hawaiian and the house slider. Flavors of the sandwich on the Hawaiian was perfect, sweet and salty My only criticism was the bread felt dry to me. Typically if I were having this type of a sandwich I would expect it to be on a soft potato roll or even a King's Hawaiian roll. The house slider was good I would consider it more guacamole than avocado on the sandwich but still very flavorful. Both sandwiches are topped with a generous supply of garlic butter making it super messy and delightful. Just get lots of napkins it's went well worth it. This little strip mall has had some gems in the past. This sandwich place is the latest of these kinds of places. The Sweet Heat and the Islander are 2 of the best sandwiches I have ever had. My wife likes the chicken pesto. As great as these are I just haven't been able to move on and try any of the others. This place is tucked into a strip mall. We walked in and no one was in there. There was a bell to rung and a guy came out of the back. He seemed to maybe be the owner. He was helpful. I had the MB a bag of chips and a bottle of soda. My friend had a sandwich a bowl of soup and a soda. Bill was over $40 bucks. The sandwich was good and big, but I only ate half. Tried it for the first time.... Thank you Yelpers for the suggestion! I settled on the chicken Alfredo.... Cause who's ever put chicken Alfredo in a sandwich?? It was insanely good and flavorful! I would make this place a regular eatery for me if I lived in Boise.. The only regret was only being able to choose one sando.. the helpful and friendly lady at the counter suggested that next time I try 2-3 sliders to get a taste of several different options... I will heed her advice on the next visit, which will be in a day or so before I fly out... If you're in the area or in Boise period, give them a try and choose wisely or choose multiple options.... On Monday, I went to Mb Sandwich House around 4:00pm in the afternoon, I work nights and wanted a couple sandwiches to get me through the night shift. I was looking for something different. I am getting tired of the same ole' same ole' options in Boise. I came across this sandwich shop on Yelp with good reviews. The food looked nice in the pictures, open late. Let's go. I get to the shop and they are closed, no sign in the door, just locked doors. I verified the hours on the website, they are supposed to be open. I understand things happen. but at least put a note in the window, saying sorry we had an issue, please come again later. I ended up going to Jersey Mike's. Most likely I will never return to Mb Sandwich house, I feel like if they can't bother to communicate store hours, what else do they not bother doing. read more

His bread is better than anything chain. It's got a light outer crust and inside moist and almost like a the inside of a biscuit. It's got good chew and over all a great baguette. Plenty of flavor in this sandwich. Teriyaki sauce, spam and quality ham. This guy can make a sandwich. I don't think I'll bother with Jimmy johns anymore having this place so close to my house. I ordered 3 sandwiches from this establishment and a soup through a delivery service. #1: They sent me the wrong soup. To make it worse, the wrong soup was HORRIBLE!!! The noodles were a soggy texture and it looked like and tasted like gruel. #2: I was excited to try a new restaurant and we ordered 3 sandwiches: each one was poor quality and had an issue. The bread was stale on all 3. They did not put Mayo on the Jive Club and it was not toasted. The BBQ Bacon Chicken's chicken is poor quality frozen meat. The Turkey Smoked Provolone is just made up of such poor ingredients and old lettuce. I'm so disappointed to try something new and be let down so profoundly. I do not recommend.
