Bibimbap Beef Bulgogi & Dumplings

This is a cute great lil spot. The food was great! We loved the dumplings! And the Bulgogi is my favorite.

Kimchi Fried Rice, Beef Bulogi & Rice Balls

Service was very good from the moment you enter till you leave. Cool place. Chicken Wings were large, plus nice and crispy with good flavors. The Kimchi Fried Rice was tasty. The Beef Belogi was tasty. The Rice Balls were not recommended by them and we would not get those again. Drinks of a Beer and a Lemon Drop Cocktail were both good. There is a private karaoke room. We would return

So we went here after a concert, they had opened extra late for this event, they were open till 1 we had a big party of 10 they did require that our whole party be here before we could sit. We waited about 25 minutes and were sat immediately after the party arrived. I personally felt so bad because they were closing and they still took us in that was really nice!! The young lady was our server she was so nice!! They were out of certain plates bc it was so late. I got the rice bulgogi beef it was very very good!! Not too sweet or salty and my friend got the sweet and sour wings that were bomb! Those cooks can cook!!! All the food was good and I got a HUGE portion. The place was super cute kinda small but they had a back outdoor seating area so they could def fit a lot more people. Overall it's a really cute place to hang with friends get a couple drinks they also had an extensive drink menu! I would come again! The owners are a couple super friendly and nice and it seems family oriented. I think maybe they also had a karaoke room or maybe that was the place next door either way would come again!

Snack Platter

Super vibey place and love the branding throughout the space! They did a great job with keeping the neon aesthetic consistent! The kimchi fried rice was different than others I've had in the past. Not bad, but different. My friend and I got the 12 piece wings half with yangnyeom (sweet/spice) and soy garlic. They were bigger than we expected yet still juicy. We enjoyed both sauces. The staff had gloves for us to use which was super helpful. We loved the snack platter! it was super fun to try each snack and guess what each snack was! I'd love to go back with a group of friends and try more items in the future

This crispy fried Chicken Sandwich was really yummy

We went for our daughters birthday and we were a large party of 8, I called ahead and they had a table ready when we got there. Really cool atmosphere. My kids loved the k-pop videos playing on the big TV. We got two appetizers. The Gangchu fries - loaded with tons of stuff including yum yum sauce- amazing! Even better though were the crispy fried dumplings-- we immediately ordered a second batch because they were incredibly tasty! Crispy and flavorful. Some of my crew just got the fried chicken sandwich and fries-- the sandwich was ginormous and very yummy. I'm not going to remember the right name, but one kid got the pork cutlet and she loved it. We also got the rice balls, katsu chicken and a couple of us got the bibimbop. So so delicious! Veggies were fresh, the meat was so tender and tasty! The egg on top was chef's kiss! There was such a big portion on everything we took home several boxes. We would definitely go back again!!

We were craving Korean food, and after seeing Gangchu on Instagram, we decided to visit for weekend dinner. Upon arrival, we realized Gangchu is a lively Korean Karaoke bar, packed with people enjoying their food and drinks. Since tables were full, we grabbed seats at the bar while waiting for a table to open up. After browsing the menu and discussing our options, we started with a Lychee Soju and ordered:Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Wings, Beef Bulgogi, Japchae. The Lychee Soju was a refreshing and fun way to start our meal. As soon as a table became available, we moved over and soon received our food. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was seasoned, crispy, and served with french fries that complemented it well. The Chicken Wings were crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Next, we had the Beef Bulgogi, which was tender, flavorful, and easily the best dish of the night. However, Japchae (glass noodles) was disappointing--it lacked the flavor we were expecting, and we've had better versions elsewhere. Overall, Gangchu is a great spot for Korean food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy Soju, flavorful dishes, and Karaoke, this is the place to be!

12 Piece Chicken Wings

Ordered the 12 piece wings and they were absolutely amazing. The wings were pretty meaty/juicy and the sauce was 10/10. My boyfriend and I had gotten the buldak and sweet and spicy flavor. Absolutely fire. Our server was quick and kind. The ambiance had a unique cozy vibe to it. Definitely will revisit again with my boyfriend soon!

Oh wow!!! I Highly recommend this joint!!! get it?? My coworker and I have a competition to find great places to eat when we travel together and I picked Gangchu because I was craving Korean fried chicken and their dish was AMAZEBALLS!!! F'ing delicious!!! And the Korean kimchi fried rice was Fran freakin tastic!!! We were going to split both dishes and wound up getting an order each. The process was terrific the service was outstanding. The hostess what gorgeous and the room is sleek modern and inviting. You must eat here. Enjoy a cocktail or a beer. Thank you Gangchu 맛있는

my go to place! you get such an ambience and great service and conversation from John. I bring someone with me different each time if I'm not picking up for takeout.

Korean fried chicken is fire. Got the buldak sauce flavor this time. Really digging this flavorful chicken. Love Gangchu & its ambiance. Awesome service while picking up food.

Jalapeno bombs
Nikki J.

We came in for a late dinner and opted to sit outside on the back patio. Service was friendly and helped answer our questions on the menu. We decided on the jalapeno bombs, boneless chicken (sweet and spicy sauce), and gangchu fries. Everything came out hot and delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy and the sauce was amazing. I already can't wait to come back!

Tasty - the other menu photos are not accurate. This one is. They have new ownership. I ate the chicken sandwich and it was crunchy and delicious. I also had the bonchon plate which came with a tasty seaweed, Kim chi, pickles and fish cakes.

Vegetarian-exclusive menu
Adam F.

Not vegetarian friendly despite what Yelp says and what they used to serve in the past. The parking spots are very narrow also.

Do they have high chairs?

YES. I just looked thru the interior photos; there is a stack of wooden highchairs in a pic.

Which sides are gluten-free? I see the menu specifies the dishes, which is so helpful (seriously, thank you so much!) but the sides and banchan aren't marked.

As of right now all of our banchan is gluten free!

The hostess was pleasant when arriving and presented herself with exceptional sleek style. Someone brought me a palate cleanser drink which was rhubarb and lemongrass water. It was smooth and refreshing. The server guided me through the cocktail menu which was an exploration all its very own. I choose the cocktail called Opposite Day- Japanese whiskey, sweet Sauvignon Blanc, salted wine and roasted beets- twist on a whiskey sour but flipped! Oysters were light and fresh and the juice in the shell was precision clean. It really pops the flavors of the oyster. Yellowtail jalapeño handroll- it is designed to be eaten similar to a taco. The yellowtail was superbly fresh, the jalapeno was a mild touch to accompany the dish and didn't try to be the star. and the homemade soy sauce didn't over power the fish. Duck leg finished with a Szechuan spice and finished a pear au jus. The duck fell off the bone and was bursting with a complex blend of elegant flavors. The food was pretty good - some hits and misses. The caviar service was good but came with thin chips that break. I would recommend small pancakes. As patient as I am, this was the most absurd dining experience we've ever had. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad. The staff was apologetic but their honesty, that service would be slow for whatever reason they had going on given we had four little kids with us, would have been much appreciated. No one came to our table to take our drink order, so we just went to the bar to order instead. There were more bartenders behind the bar than customers at the bar and none of them assisted the servers with table drink orders. It took half an hour to order appetizers afterwards, then another half hour to order entrées. We didn't have utensils at one point to eat the food we got, food orders came out incorrectly, the tables weren't cleared when dessert came out, and we had to excuse the entire table to head home with the kids as it was 10pm and we still hadn't received the check we asked for 30 mins prior to dessert coming out. The only reason we were still there when the dessert came was because we ordered it with the pre-fix entrée and we couldn't get anyone to bring us our check so we could leave. This was a manager problem, not a staff problem. I could not imagine leaving my staff in such disorganized distress over dinner service on a Saturday night.
