I visited specifically to try the grain reaper cookies and was a little hard to find for me as it isn't clear at first that it's inside market on broadway but I eventually found my way to the cookies lol. It was a Saturday afternoon so the Main Street it's on was pretty busy but the parking lot had room and it wasn't too packed inside. I purchased three cookies for $21 which is a lot for 3 cookies. The unlucky leprechaun cookie was definitely my favorite but the other two with white chocolate just had that typical gluten-free aftertaste to them so I think chocolate is the way to go. I feel so bad for gluten free people... it just tastes better. The cookies were definitely better warmed up a bit. Not sure if I'll stop by again but they weren't bad.

Came here for the cinnamon rolls from co-dough but will be back for breakfast sandwiches! Nice local place with lots of options and nice staff. Some tables to eat at or take to go.

I have been meaning to go here for a while, ever since hearing great things about it from my friends who live nearby and rely on their Shepard's Pie as an easy weeknight meal on the way home from work. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to eat inside because I had only seen the street side outdoor seating, however, when I walked inside, I saw that they did have ample indoor seating as well. The shop is IMMACULATE, super clean and well organized. They have a bespoke selection of locally made products as well as a dizzying array of bourgeois seltzers, snacks, and more. The deli cases are jam packed with delish salads, chicken wings (using Pour Judgement's recipe from down the block), and a wide array of curated sandwiches. I ordered one of the Turkey Clubs, and the fresh pillowy wheat bread, succulent turkey, and basil pesto aioli definitely made it a welcome break in the otherwise boring day. Service was friendly and knowledgeable regarding their menu. It's a great neighborhood gem and added to my list of must visits!

One weekend afternoon in April 2026 I decided to pastry taste five spots in Newport Rhode Island. This spot came in 3 of 5. The place was very busy when I arrived so it's obviously popular. I got a raspberry filled sourdough doughnut and their sourdough flavored cinnamon bun. Both were very large and very sweet. Very well made and very taste. I've not had many sourdough pastries and I liked it very much. My only complaint is that they don't have a big selection beyond those and with the crowd I felt a little bit cattle herded. Don't plan to hang out here enjoying a quiet spot.

Sourdough with great crust and interior texture!

Welcoming staff eager to tell us all about their baked goods. Had our hearts set on the sourdough and it is terrific! Also enjoying the salmon, with chicken pot pie put aside for dinner. We're always looking for new food gems when vacationing in Newport and @marketplaceonbroadway made the cut! Easy parking sealed the deal for us.

    Breakfast pizza, new menu item!

My friends and I sure…read moredo, and on a recent Saturday, we were lucky enough to hit the Nitro Bar when there wasn't a line snaking out the door and down the block! We had super-friendly and super-efficient service ordering an espresso tonic, chocolate malt float and blood orange hibiscus tea (such a delectable purple-red color!) All three beverages were sipped to the very last drop! Special thanks for also stocking the fridge with bottles of Diet Coke. Not enough cafes/coffee bars offer this soda option and sometimes, a gal has to have her Diet Coke! The Nitro Bar is a cheerful place to sit and since we were fortunate enough to find seating, we decided to share a grilled Asiago bagel and ricotta toast with heirloom tomatoes. Yummy x 2, and just enough snacking to tide the three of us over until a late lunch. We've been to the Nitro Bar on Pond Ave. in Newport and Broadway in Providence -- never disappointed with beverages/food but be prepared to wait In a line most of the time.

2.5/5 I ordered a…read moremix of drinks to get a solid feel for the menu--overall, there's clear potential here, but execution needs tightening. Ordered 1&1. Espresso (straight + mini cortado) The straight was under-extracted, resulting in a noticeable sourness and lack of balance. Not undrinkable, but it lacked the smoothness and depth you'd hope for. The cortado, however, improved the experience--the milk helped round out the acidity and made it far more approachable. Espresso Tonic: This ended up being the standout. It's definitely an acquired taste, but if you enjoy bright, citrus-forward drinks, this works. The subtle sweetness and orange notes complemented the espresso nicely, creating something refreshing and unique--perfect for warmer weather. Reminds me of a Matcha Milkis but with espresso instead. Iced Caramel Latte: A bit too milk-heavy for my preference. The espresso got lost, and while there were faint crème brûlée-like notes and a touch of caramel, the overall profile felt muted and underwhelming. Service: Excellent. One of the drinks was initially forgotten which resulted in me waiting several minutes, but the staff handled it well--quick apology and a complimentary drink chip. That level of accountability goes a long way and stands out compared to many other shops. Ambiance: Relaxed and inviting. The space has a fun, casual vibe with merchandise ranging from hoodies to cards, giving it some personality beyond just being a coffee stop. Overall: There's a strong foundation here. With more consistency in espresso extraction and slight adjustments to drink balance, this could easily be a solid spot.
