I really wanted to love this place after my fiancé saw a post about the cinnamon buns and convinced me we had to try one. We decided to make a little outing of it and ordered the large cinnamon bun, a raspberry doughnut, and two pupusas. The food itself? Good. The cinnamon bun definitely lived up to the hype (only reason for 2 stars), and everything else was decent. Unfortunately, the overall experience took away from it. From the moment we walked in, it felt like you were being moved through like cattle. Everything felt very rushed, and there wasn't really time to stop, look at the menu, or figure out what you wanted without feeling pressured to keep moving. While the bakery items came out quickly, we still ended up waiting about 30 minutes after checkout for the rest of the food. The atmosphere was also incredibly loud, and there seemed to be confusion among staff about whose order belonged to who and what name matched which ticket. On top of that, the trash area was piled high, and instead of changing it right away, an employee brought out a new bag and just set it in front of the overflowing trash, which wasn't the best look. Overall: good food, disappointing experience. Felt chaotic and stressful rather than enjoyable. read more

Cool spot! I came for the famous co dough cinnamon buns, which didn't disappoint! It seems like this market has a lot to offer and it's around a lot of businesses so I'm sure it's really well loved. I'll have to browse around a bit more next time! read more

What a great place! It's a Market I've heard about but has yet to try. I went for the over the top sour dough cinnamon rolls! Everyone seems to be raving about. Can I just say these are not your typical cinnamon buns! Ohhh noooo these are monstrosity, soft chewy and warm! The hype is real! I bought 4 and they had delectable dinner rolls I had to grab. Not only this lil bakery but they also have coffee ( of course!)sandwiches and dinner items. It's a real find . Everyone was friendly and helpful . Just a pick up and go place. It's a well organized lil spot. you maybe in line for those buns but well worth it!! I heard the line can be well out the door. Weekdays are my suggestion if you want to grab one. read more

I visited specifically to try the grain reaper cookies and was a little hard to find for me as it isn't clear at first that it's inside market on broadway but I eventually found my way to the cookies lol. It was a Saturday afternoon so the Main Street it's on was pretty busy but the parking lot had room and it wasn't too packed inside. I purchased three cookies for $21 which is a lot for 3 cookies. The unlucky leprechaun cookie was definitely my favorite but the other two with white chocolate just had that typical gluten-free aftertaste to them so I think chocolate is the way to go. I feel so bad for gluten free people... it just tastes better. The cookies were definitely better warmed up a bit. Not sure if I'll stop by again but they weren't bad. read more

I have been meaning to go here for a while, ever since hearing great things about it from my friends who live nearby and rely on their Shepard's Pie as an easy weeknight meal on the way home from work. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to eat inside because I had only seen the street side outdoor seating, however, when I walked inside, I saw that they did have ample indoor seating as well. The shop is IMMACULATE, super clean and well organized. They have a bespoke selection of locally made products as well as a dizzying array of bourgeois seltzers, snacks, and more. The deli cases are jam packed with delish salads, chicken wings (using Pour Judgement's recipe from down the block), and a wide array of curated sandwiches. I ordered one of the Turkey Clubs, and the fresh pillowy wheat bread, succulent turkey, and basil pesto aioli definitely made it a welcome break in the otherwise boring day. Service was friendly and knowledgeable regarding their menu. It's a great neighborhood gem and added to my list of must visits! read more

One weekend afternoon in April 2026 I decided to pastry taste five spots in Newport Rhode Island. This spot came in 3 of 5. The place was very busy when I arrived so it's obviously popular. I got a raspberry filled sourdough doughnut and their sourdough flavored cinnamon bun. Both were very large and very sweet. Very well made and very taste. I've not had many sourdough pastries and I liked it very much. My only complaint is that they don't have a big selection beyond those and with the crowd I felt a little bit cattle herded. Don't plan to hang out here enjoying a quiet spot. read more

Please get co dough a drive-up window or separate check out on the other side of the building. The "virality" is ruining the actual "local market" aspect on Broadway, when residents want to run in for a few grocery items. The lines are insane, and oblivious hordes of people waiting for cinnamon rolls are standing around in the way. It's not worth it anymore, and I would rather go to Leos for a quick item stop. read more

Like the shop overall and the owners but the first experience with the roast beef sub was VERY bad. I thought it was fresh baked bread by the bakery. It was two day old bread at best or the sandwich was pre-made yesterday. Little meat and mostly mozz cheese as well. Worst sub in Newport by far. Live and learn. They have other decent stuff but the pics of the sandwiches are 10x better than the actual product. Not worth $5 never mind $14. read more

This is a great new-ish addition to the thriving middle Broadway in Newport. In this store, you can find pastries, coffees, and egg sandwiches to start your day. Feeling lunchy? The deli is stocked with Boars Head products to sate your savory palate. So have yourself a sandwich! On the other side of the store, you can grab some fresh meats and sausages, even chouriço. And they have freshly made stuffies. My sister-in-law loved the stuffie we brought home for her. They also have some unique groceries, including a fresh pet food. The service was great. We were welcomed right away and asked if we had been here before. As we hadn't, we were encouraged to explore, which we did. At each station, we were asked if we needed help, which is a great way to feel welcomed. The store is very clean and easy to move about within. Outside are some tables and chairs to sit and relax while consuming your newly purchased wares. Overall, I'm excited for this store and want it to succeed. So go already! read more
