I'm not a big Gap shopper anymore but recently a friend recommend that I take a second look at the Gap Body sleep and lounge collection. I'm glad I did because when I came in not only was everything in the store 50% but all mark downs were 30% off. Hurray. I was able to make out with some flannel pants and joggers for about $18 bucks each. I think they're better quality than what I would get at Target. I've RARELY been greeted by any of the employees here although they tend to be very friendly comes time for check out. Well, maybe I have by like one or two out of all the times I have been. With that said, it should be 2 stars. BUT, read on. To the clothes. This is very neat and organized store, which I like. They usually have everything in stock that I need. I shop online at gap.com a lot too so when I'm here, it's to grab a few items. The sale rack here is worth checking for men. Usually have many items for a good bargain. Terrible Terrible Customer Service.. NOT once did someone say hello to me, nor asked if I needed Help.. The people who worked here were all men, and they seemed more into steaming the damn display shirts then to even ask if I was doing ok.. and that is SO NOT GAP.. But on a good note, I found a Pair of Jeans originally 59.99 and I got it for 8.97 incl. tax.. so it makes you wonder how much it really costs to even make the jeans.. You know, I've always believed in second chances... I've visited this location several times since my last review and I must say, my experience gets better each time. I was promptly greeted upon entering the store and asked on a few occasions if I needed help finding anything. I've also noticed that the display tables are nice and neat - there's always someone folding and putting items away, and the sales staff now goes above and beyond to service you. During my last visit, I spotted the boyfriend roll up shorts in coral that I just had to have. They didn't have my size and without asking, the sales rep quickly checked the inventory of other stores in the area and provided a printed slip of stores that had the shorts in my size. One more point on service, there seems to be a new group of people manning this location and they are all really cool. They acknowledge you, some hold conversation and even throw in a joke or two. My only gripe is they can be a little aggressive when pitching the GAP store credit card, but that's kind of expected from most retail stores. read more

Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE Gap. However, my experience at this location was terrible. I was exchanging an item for the next size up and they mis-charged me. They didn't apologize and just keep offering me a Gap credit card and joking around with each other. I went to the other side of registers and they admitted the other girls mess up and helped as best as they could but I have to wait for the money to be refunded to my card in 3-7 business days. The customer service in this particular store is usually pretty awful, but today it was especially so. Not one person offered to help me. The fitting rooms were full of everyone's discards, and the pile on the folding table was at least three feet tall. I know that Gap is not a high-end store, but this was just disappointing. Did in store online order for two items. Took absolutely forever. Completely unacceptable. Poor training.

I went in here yesterday to return a shirt I had bought for my husband from the Lenox store. As soon as I set the shirt on the counter, the girl said she couldn't take the shirt because it was final sale. I told her I wasn't told that it was final sale, and no where on the receipt does it say that. She then pointed to the bottom of the paragraph on the receipt and said all items ending in 0.97 are final sale. I told her that there is no way anyone reads that, and at other stores, they put final sale on your receipt and tell you at check out. I asked if I could do an exchange then, she said no. I didn't care for her attitude. She was not willing to work with customers, and she was quite rude and short. As soon as I left the store, I called Gap customer service, and the girl on the phone was also no help. It is amazing how Gap treats their customers. My husband and I are cardholders. I would've thought I'd be treated better than that. At other stores, most of the times, they make exceptions for you, even when you're not a cardholder with them. After I got home, I posted a long comment on Gap facebook page expressing my frustration. They asked for my receipt. After seeing that it doesn't say final sale anywhere, they said they'd process my return as a courtesy. All in all, not happy, and will probably not shop here for a long time. read more
