We had a dented garage door, for some reason. It could have been because I backed into it, but we…read morecan't be sure. Anyway, when the garage was opened the next time, it got stuck halfway open. It was a Friday night so I didn't think anyone would be open or around. I put plywood up to cover the garage stuff. That wasn't really a solution. I contacted J Anthony on Saturday and he came out that day to make an assessment. He was able to get a drop-down done, basically a temporary solution, but the garage was now closed. He called on Monday after calling the original garage door manufacturer since we needed new panels or a whole new door. The manufacturer would only sell door panels to home builders or homeowners with their company installing, so their hands were tied. However, they still got me a quote and made a recommendation based on the pricing and let me know they would proceed however I wanted to. We ended up, months later, getting a whole new door. But I really appreciate that they went through the process of getting me quotes and following up with me, even though they knew that they wouldn't be able to do the job because of the manufacturer's restrictions. I think this says a lot about J Anthony Garage Doors: they are customer-service driven, honest, and reliable.

I'm deeply impressed with the quality of the final finished job and the pricing was clearly spelled out in advance. I have a medical condition which made manual lifts inadvisable and my wife said she is too short for manual door lift. The team shifted the location of some garage items and then restored those to prior location and left us with a good working garage door. The garage doors we have are nice, and I wanted them to match. We called out a bunch of companies, but Mojo was the only one who said that they could find the parts to replace a panel or two of our door, instead of replacing the entire garage door, like the competition wanted to do. So Mojo gave a fair quote, was able to source the parts, and showed up right when they said they would. They made some good recommendations about maintaining and upgrading parts of the existing doors to get the longest life out of them. I appreciated the companies ethic and willingness to do repairs instead of fishing for a replacement. I hope I don't have to, but I'd hire them again!

I called in the morning, and he arrived that afternoon exactly when promised. His work or task was never rushed, took the time to talk about soccer etc. Unlike many companies that insisted on coming out just to give an estimate hoping to make the sale, EJ gave me a quote over the phone based on the details I provided. I already knew my garage door springs needed replacing, and he didn't try to upsell me. His price was less than half of the estimates I received from the large companies. He had high-cycle springs in stock, which I specifically wanted to avoid replacing them again in just a few years. Most other companies told me those would have to be special ordered. He also provided a 10-year warranty, adjusted the garage door, and showed me how to lubricate it properly. I'd definitely call EJ again and highly recommend him and will call on him again when needed. His service territory includes La Vernia for no additional trip charges.

A rep came out said he fixed the opener and suggested I get new silicone rollers (I had old metal ones). Since I had recently had my home weather sealed and painted, so I agreed to the work. The work was done, opener issue was still not resolved, so I called back. As I was showing the new rep the issue I noticed holes in my drywall. From where the long bar had been removed and replaced. I pointed this out to the new rep, but he stated he was an independent contractor. *Note: He actually reworked and fixed my opener issue. I'm actually in shock that I wasn't informed about the holes during the work, but I'm sure that was to alleviate liability. Now my outer siding has damage as well. Probably won't be using this company again and highly suggesting you all be fully forewarned
