What a fun place! Situated in a great area, and it serves AZ wine! The patio is gorgeous, and it is just a wonder venue. Highly recommend getting out of Phoenix to try this great bar. We were lucky to be able to attend a wine dinner hosted by Garage-East, and the food was paired by Liberty Market (go Oddity Wines). Plenty of heaters and attentive wait staff led to a very successful event. Worth the drive up from Tucson! read more

This place has changed a lot since we came last time prior to covid-19. The patio was so pretty & on fridays & saturdays, there's entertainment. A plus! Their wine offerings were locally sourced & are pretty good. Though I wished they could've had more food (you can bring or order from other restaurants near there) their menu was decent. Me & my friend had some bread & a charcuterie board, not as happy with what's on it though for the price, maybe switch it up each week? Just a suggestion. Overall, a good place to eat & have a good time with friends & family. So glad this cute spot opened up in an equally cute Agritopia!! Just what the area needs!! While the wine selection is somewhat small at the moment (particularly for all you fellow dry white wine people out there), I'm excited for all the potential to come out of this wine bar. Location is perfect, with such close proximity to lots of food options (that I believe you can get delivered?!?! Is this heaven?) Our experience here was great! They have delicious wine and a fun patio. We were lucky enough to end up there on a Wednesday when to our surprise a little live band of two started to play some country and classic. There was also a quaint farmers market going on with tables full of fresh bread, fudge, assorted veggies, local honey and soaps etc. We sipped on a carafe of the Higley Road red blend and it was perfect! I had the very best croissant from the farmers market, exceptionally buttery, soft and flakey. They have the market on Wednesday's when it's not too hot and music three nights a week. read more

Such a cool wine bar! The wine we chose was delicious. They were extremely busy but the service was still excellent. Did not try the food this visit but plan on it. Speaking of food, you are welcomed to bring in food from anywhere including your home, I have never heard of a fork fee ($5 for a table of 4). The best part is it's in a compound that has numerous other business, pizza, coffee shop that has delicious looking food, a brewery, many other food places and non food places. Plenty of parking. Don't hesitate to try this gem. read more

I have lived across the street from this gem for over two years now and have never been here until now. I have definitely been missing out ! the wine here is fantastic and the service is wonderful ! They have lots of outdoor seating that is super comfortable. Live music that actually sounds GREAT! It's also right next door to the brewery, so you can get your craft beer fix. I absolutely love having a micro-winery in my neighborhood. It's lovely having a nice place to enjoy a drink that's easily walkable. This place would be 5 stars for me if they had a better happy hour. As it is, it's hard to even know what their happy hour is by looking at their website. I wish that information was more apparent. There are plenty of good wines to chose from, and I love that the selection is unique and always changing. However, it gets very pricey drinking by the glass especially compared to getting beers at 12 West. Garage East does include some munchies (usually potato chips) with their wine, but I'd rather see better prices. Definitely come here when you're in the area. The Dos Cabezas selections are always good, and their pinot grigio and cabernet franc has been some of my favorites. read more

My husband and I visited Garage-East for the first time yesterday. We had a warm welcome from the staff the moment we walked in. We sat outside on the patio and it was very pleasant. Trish was our server and she is a delight. We are new to Arizona wines and Trish took the time to tell us about our options. We love garage east! When families in town this is a go to. The outdoor patio is great for spending time with friends and family. The service has always been super friendly and helpful. The best part is being able to get beer and pizza from their neighbors and enjoying it all in one place. Some nights garage east will have live bands which we've enjoyed. read more

We decided to share a meal tonight so started with their Loaded House Salad, which they split for us. We loved this salad! Their tarragon ranch dressing was perfect with the mixed greens, the grape tomatoes, pepitas, and bacon crumbles...such a good salad! We shared their popular short ribs (they charged $2 for plate share) which were cooked to tender perfection and served over a creamy white bean puree. Delicious for sure! We finished with some of their Black Forest Cake which was the bomb! Tender, moist chocolate cake rounds with the best tasting whip that has vanilla bean in it and then some great cherry jam to set it all off. What a great meal!

I visited Garage-East for a girls' night out, and we had such a fun evening! We started with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, which was crisp, citrusy, and absolutely delicious. A one of my friends tried the Limoncello wine, but it was a little too sweet for her taste. Our server was wonderful and recommended switching things up, so she got a glass of rosé. The service was attentive and the recommendations were spot-on. For dinner, I ordered the chicken salad sliders on a croissant roll, and they were absolutely delicious. The chicken salad was flavorful, and the buttery croissant made them even better. The live music and beautiful patio atmosphere made for the perfect girls' night out. Had a nice visit to Garage-East in Gilbert! The concept is unique, and the servers were all incredibly friendly and positive, which made the experience enjoyable. The wine flights offered a fun way to sample the local wines, but unfortunately, none of the wines really stood out or left us wanting more. While the wines were typical of a local winery, they didn't quite hit the mark for us. We were also disappointed by the charcuterie board--it was meant for four people, but the amount of cheese was paltry and didn't feel very generous. Overall, it's a cute spot with fun ideas, and while the wine didn't impress, the service made the experience worth a visit. A solid 4-star spot, thanks to the great service! read more
