We had an amazing dining experience! Our server (Gavin ?) was attentive, funny and made sure we had a pleasant dining experience since we were celebrating a birthday! The vibes are lively both inside and outside of the restaurant. The inside has a dark and moody feel. We came on a Friday night at 7:30pm and waited ~ 15- 20 minutes for a table for 3 people. We ordered the following appetizers: Cauliflower Tahina $12 and they were delicious. I recommend. The flavor was on point. I would order again. Not so Humble Brussels $13 and they were okay, it needed a thicker balsamic sauce. I would not order again. Dishes: Humble Caesar Salad $14 Added Shrimp for $6 The salad is a good portion. It filled me up. The jalapeño caesar tied in nicely with the romaine, brusssels, parmesan & pecorino cheese and the egg. It would still taste great without the shrimp. Cajun Chicken Alfredo $20 enjoyed the taste and the flavor of the Alfredo sauce. Cremini Sachetti $22 The stuffed pasta, mushrooms & cheese sauce were delicious.

Humble Bistro has a warm and inviting atmosphere and is definitely a beautiful space. The décor feels cozy and upscale, which made us excited to try it. Unfortunately, the loud music inside really did not match the relaxed vibe of the restaurant. After hearing it while waiting for our food, I was honestly glad we decided to do carry out because it would have taken away from the dining experience. We ordered Shirley Temples, but although they were on our ticket, they somehow did not come out with the rest of the order. We had to ask for them and ended up waiting about another 10 minutes. Thankfully, they were worth the wait -- refreshing, flavorful, and probably one of the highlights of the meal. For food, we ordered the Humble Lasagna, the This Lil' Figgy pizza, and the Classy Girl pie with pepperoni. The lasagna was disappointing because the cheese completely overwhelmed the pasta, sauce, and overall flavor, making it hard to taste much else. The pizza and bruschetta were just okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing especially memorable either. Overall, we left feeling mixed. The space itself is lovely and the drinks were great, but the food and service experience did not quite live up to the atmosphere. I'll try it again and hope to leave an updated review

We like going to this quaint little French flare bistro. On our most recent trip, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess. Her name was Lily. She was very friendly and kind! We had the maximus pizza. I love the crust on this pizza. It's not too chewy and not too soft. It's just the right consistency. I like to dip it in the chili honey sauce. This pizza was topped with Imported Grande pepperoni, capicola & house talian sausage with their 3 cheese blend. We didn't have it on this visit, but we also really enjoyed the gentleman pizza. We also get the humble wings which are accompanied by three different sauces. It's great cause you never have to choose just one. The three sauces are buffalo, spicy Korean and chili honey. I love all of the sauces, but I have to say I enjoy mixing the spicy Korean and the chili honey together.

Our neighbors recommended Humble Bistro and we were very impressed. The music (think Bridgerton vibes) was perfect as well as the lighting and overall vibe. My husband I and really enjoy going to places that make you feel like it's a special night but without the special price tag. We sat at the bar and were thankful to have very friendly and attentive service along with great tasting food. We ordered the red sangria, draft beer, gentlemen's pizza and pasta with meatballs. We are Italian and normally would never try meatballs from a restaurant but we ordered on a whim and loved our meal. We can't wait to visit again and hopefully make this place our new favorite date spot. Finally there is a local place that hits all the marks with ambiance, cleanliness, service and good. Well done :)

This is my second time and the atmosphere is amazing, very moody and elegant. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I am giving this a generous 4 stars because the food was good but I'm not sure why I'm not a fan. I feel like the dishes need a little more flavor possibly? I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo and my friend ordered the Cremini Sacchetti. Both of our takes were it just needed something more. We also ordered the Forno bread with Alfredo and marinara to dip with which was good.

Beautiful setting inside. Outside seating is nice and cozy. We were greeted right away and a small 20 min wait want bad for a Friday night. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The menu has so many delicious items to try. The jalapeño hummus was delicious. The Red before bed sangria is a must try. I can't wait to go back to try more items on the menu

I love EVERYTHING about this place! The atmosphere and music create a romantic vibe that allows you to soak up and savor an evening together with your loved one! I am gluten intolerant, but can usually do a good sourdough bread, and theres was DELICIOUS and of very high grade! I had no gluten reaction whatsoever. We shared The Gentleman Pizza and it was a delightful combo of sweet and savory (** insert chef's kiss)! We also shared their Caesar and Jalapeno Hummus with GF pizza crust. Both were heavenly! I especially loved the Brussels on top of the Caesar--such an unexpected treat! Their "Not so humble fries" were absolutely incredible, as well! They may be humble, but their flavors scream from the rooftop just how masterful they are!

Have been wanting to check out Humble Bistro for a while and bummed it took me so long to get here. We came for a Sunday lunch and the restaurant was busy and lively. We enjoyed the humble fries these were delicious, I loved the salad and the crispy Brussel sprouts were so tasty. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

I had seen this place pop up a few times on social media and it was on my list of places to try for a solid year. We finally got around to going and I can't believe I waited this long to try. Everything we got was amazing!! We ended up ordering server suggestions-- the Brussels spouts, fig flatbread and a pasta. We loved every single one of them!! The vibe was also really nice. We went for an early dinner around 4 and sat on the patio so it wasn't too busy when we got there but definitely filled up by the time we left. Don't have any complaints really, aside from the service which wasn't necessarily bad- just not great either. Our servers seem to be really preoccupied or maybe just not having the best day, but it didn't affect our experience at all. We would definitely go back!

This Gilbert bistro is a little gem. With lots of wine bottles and crates as decor, it has a dark-ish, charming feel to it. There is a large patio with seating outside, an me inside had a combination of banquettes and tables. There is a bar along one wall. Our server was great--friendly and attentive. We ordered the Red Before Bed froze' and the carbonade, both wine based drinks. Both were very yummy! We shared a Humble Caesar salad and a Maximus pizza. The salad was not like a typical Caesar salad-- it has lots of crispy charged brussel sprouts and a 7-minutes egg. It's was delicious! The pizza had capicola, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. It was also delicious. Everything was good here. We've been here before and will be here again.

Would be a great date spot! I was surprised by how beautifully decorated the inside is. Humble Bistro has dark interiors with moody lighting and decor. The bruschettas were delicious. Nice crust and delicious toppings. They were more so fancy pizzas. Pretty filling for an individual, yet can double as a shareable. Top is the Kosher (salmon) and bottom is the shrimp and pesto

My review for this establishment is neutral. The food and drinks were tasty. The atmosphere was classy and moody. The music was extremely loud. It was a bit hard to have a conversation. The service was a bit odd which is why I didn't give more stars. When I asked our server if he preferred the white or the red sangria he didn't speak on either. He suggested the Rosé. I personally don't like rosé which is why it wasn't one of them options I asked him to speak on. I ended up getting the red and it was delicious! It was shortly after we got our food that someone just walked up to us and asked if we were done with our food. When we said no, a girl came up to us probably 5 mins later asking us if we wanted boxes for our food. We said no, we were taking our time and breathing as we were trying to enjoy our dinner. Another girl came up and asked if she could clear our table and yet we still were eating. Once we were finally done and told them to take our plates our server came up with check in hand and asked if we needed anything else. I asked if they had a dessert menu. And I quote "Yes we do." And we just stared at each other. So I finally asked him if he was going to tell me the options or if he could get me a menu. Overall: Food: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 Service: 2/10 Dessert: 2/10 (the cream brûlée was bland) Ambiance: 6/10

Been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally made it in on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking, greeted and seated promptly for a party of 2 without reservations. The Italian Paloma was very grapefruit forward, refreshing but more bitter than expected. The Not So Humble Caesar Salad was delish! My husband hates veggies but he actually liked this and kept coming back for more Crispy Brussels. The Smorgasboard was yummy too with a great balance of flavors and literally a smorgasbord with a little bit of everything. The bread was light and perfect as a vessel or even just by itself. We also ordered wings which were just okay and we probably would've been fine without. Service was great and it was a perfect spot for an impromptu day date for lunch!

Not that I remember! None at the bar, for sure.

They have a small happy hour menu at the bottom of their main menu....they refer to it as "Social Hour" and it's everyday until 5pm: https://www.humblebistro.com/menu/

How long would I wait for a party of four on a Friday or Saturday at 5:30? I'm just looking for an estimate since you don't take reservations.

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

Ultimately I chose the Mesa store because it was the original and I wanted to see Mesa. We started with a basic garlic cheese bread appetizer and it was great. The calamari was tempting but we'll save that for next time. Wife ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the usual Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of pasta. It was actually a harder choice than usual because I walked thru the restaurant before I ordered and so many dishes looked good, as did the pizza. But I went with the usual. Let's start with the wife, which truly speaks to the five stars because she frankly doesn't love Italian food. She eats it when I beg. And she loved it. She actually proactively mentioned she wanted to go back. That's like 7 stars right there it's so abnormal. I agree with her. The chicken parm was fantastic. Amazing. To top it off, our server was great and when I mentioned we were new to the area and it was our first trip she was so nice telling us the history of the original and the other stores, and the manager later stopped by to continue that conversation as the server told her we were new. I mentioned that I live closer to the Scottsdale store, and she said it's the same food and I'll like it just as much. I'll have a hard time deciding which shop to return to - it might be worth the drive to the original just for the ambiance, but I'll give the other a try soon because it was just that good! 5 stars.
