I hate to do this but I feel like it's important to make the management aware. If you're going to charge $22 for fish and chips you need to use fresh halibut and serve cold Cole slaw. My order of fish and chips had a strong fishy smell and flavor which is indicative of old poorly handled and old fish. The Cole slaw was not cold but room temperature. My wife ordered a burger and said it was great. I may go back someday but I won't order the Fish and Chips Sorry guys! read more

We've been a few time but this last time kind of turned us off to the whole place. Our drinks took forever, the waiter was rude and kept forgetting stuff, we asked for lemons and got limes ha ha it was a disaster. After a forever wait our food finally came out and I couldn't believe my eyes. My sweet potato fries were burnt to a crisp. I was told to give this place a try more for the atmosphere of the cars than the food, but I would say the food was quite good as well. Our waiter was kind and friendly. We order the onion rings to start and they were very good. The sauce had just a tiny kick with the siracha, but yummy. I ordered the mustang burger and the brisket in it was great. The wife ordered the formula 1 grilled cheese and equally liked it. She would say get some bbq sauce for it. Our friends got the shrimp nachos and really like them. A few days back, Yelp friend Mylan D. said the words "Sushi Nachos" and the phrase has been in my head ever since. The place? Garage Grill in Draper (where the Cristopher's Seafood & Steaks used to be). The time? Sunday brunch. The food didn't disappoint. We started with brunch fave, $2 Mimosas (hallelujah, booze on Sunday in Utah!). They were the perfect mix of champagne and O.J. And, of course, we got the Enzo Sushi Nachos: Wonton instead of tortilla chips, Ahi (a.k.a.a. Yellowfin) tuna, crab and seaweed salad, jalapeños, habanero eel sauce, tobiko (a.k.a. those teeny orange roe pellets), avocado, lime crema, and spicy mayo. I loved the taste ... subtle, fresh, the right amount of kick to warm but not burn. I see what all the hype is about .... YUM! I consider myself a Monte Cristo sandwich aficionado ... it's a lot more prevalent around Utah than when I moved here a decade ago, and Garage Grill has provided a top-shelf entry into the local MC scene. For those who don't know, a Monte Cristo is essentially a ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese sandwich on French Toast with some powdered sugar on top. GG's is delicious made even better by the raspberry compote (think of it like a syrup/jam) that was just sweet enough and brought out the flavors of the sammy. And, as my wife can attest, it brought out the flavors in her waffle, too. Speaking of her waffles, she had the Chicken and Waffle Breakfast Sandwich: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, arugula, and cheddar, and bacon wit the waffles as "bread." The chicken was excellent, and the brown butter and sage maple syrup added another layer to the yumminess. Keep in mind, this only covers brunch ... I will be back to add more as I dive into their burgers and other delicious selections. There are a few small things I hope they will improve on. First, while the waitress was friendly, service was a bit slow. On the food, the only disappointment was the home fries that came with the breakfast: drab, limp, lacked flavor, and there was no accompanying fry sauce or ketchup with it. As with most of the food, the visuals do not disappoint. They are all-in on the Garage motif: Full-sized Lemans and Indy race cars; souped-up sports cars that'll spark ideas for anyone in the throws of a mid-life crisis (my fave a Mustang Shelby GT 500KR); garage-towel napkins; motorcycles ranging from choppers to hogs; plenty of the proverbial NASCAR flags, cars, signs, and ephemera; a big Good Year sign perched atop the open kitchen; and a gigantic Cavallino Rampante (Ferrari's famed "Prancing Horse" that is their logo) stands tall in the waiting area. We went to this restaurant on Sunday. A girl greeted us with excellent service, but our waiter did not give us very good attention. We sat almost at the entrance. I ordered ribs and they were good, but they had something that made them taste like ketchup. The corn bread was not good, and even though I insisted to the waiter that I did not want onions, the hummus had a large portion of onions. The atmosphere is beautiful, something unique. Super nice environment. Staff was super courteous and checked on my continually. My drink was never empty. Menu was unique in their offering, but I liked the variety. Not overly loud like at BWW. Food: Ordered half rack of ribs with Onion Rings. The onion rings were overly breaded. If you see the pictures you will understand. They were probably 3x the breading to Onion ratio. There were so many there was no way to finish them at this size. They tasted fine, but it's like eating 2x the side item in comparison to the meal. I ate 1 of 5. Seriously. The ribs were good, but not outstanding. Maybe it's personal preference, but I like a rib meat to be soft. Like falling off the bone soft. This was chewy for the meat. While it wasn't bad, it should have been Smokey and soft. Especially at the price level of close to $20.00. Good portions on the ribs. Most places have managed to find the worlds thinnest cows, but not here. This half rack was more than I could finish. These had meat on the bones. Just need to cook longer and get the smoke flavor. The sauce was fine, but could have had more sweet. This place has a variety of food and was not packed. Great for a lunch time stop in. read more

One and done... which is a huge bummer because this place has a lot of potential. We went for lunch on a Sunday. The place was dead. They sat us outside and our table was filthy. Literally filthy and sticky. They had been open for a few hours so regardless of whether it was the previous diners or just messy from being an outside table... why hadn't anyone wiped it down? Especially prior to seating us? There were 4 other patrons dining outside and a few inside. Again not too busy. We ordered a basket of fries, a burger, and a couple $2 Bloody Mary's. It took over 25 minutes to get our food. They didn't appear to be short staffed. My burger was a glorified Carl's Junior burger. But for $15! The tater totts were good. We didn't complain. Didn't bother. But what was also super lame is that as we left, there were 4-6 workers at the hostess stand and not one person thanked us for coming in. This place offers a wide variety of items which is nice for picky eaters and kids; including American, Mexican, and sushi to name a few. Menu can be found online. There was a small wait before being seated. Our service was great, she was quick to bring out our drinks and take our orders with recommendations. The spinach dip was delicious and had a unique flavor not like your typical spinach dips. I really enjoyed the Bel Air Bowl; it was refreshing with a nice flavor pallet yet very filling. Although we have had 5 Star experiences in the past, the rudeness of the Young Lady Managing was enough that we won't be back. We asked a question about masks on staff, expressed discomfort with the lack of them. Instead of explaining, or even being a bit friendly, we were told- "leave then". The Reuben sandwich is delish, the tater tots were barely warm and freezer burned. We also ordered the Cajun spinach artichoke dip it was good, but had a strange twist with that Cajun aspect and the chips that came with it were awful. Came here for a friends birthday dinner. We started off with drinks, which took about almost 20 minutes for it to come out. Understandable because it is one waiter. I ordered the Primavera and was very very disappointed. It was bland, flavorless and they forgot my bacon. I asked for it on the side to put it in but they forgot. Another person in my party ordered the same dish without bacon, so I figured the chef just cooked the same pasta and served it to us rather than starting a new dish with the bacon. Welcome to the gem of Draper Utah. I say that because this is a completely unique dining experience. We ate under a real race car. Literally, if it weren't so clean we would think that moter oil was going to drip into our food. Speaking of which, the menu is completely different from anywhere else in the world because almost all the dishes are named after famous cars or events that have to do with cars. They emphasize the 'Salt Flats' which are located here in Utah. They even have a line of beers and spirits named the salt flats! Typically there are car races or car shows going on the background. What kind of food you ask? Really whatever you are in the mood for.... Like categorized appetizers, salads, not in the mood for salads? How about sandwiches? No? How about burgers? No how about barbecue, sushi, entrees, fish, kids meals? They have it all. Including the salt flat beers and house specials. The DeVille being one of my favorites. We ordered the sushi, salmon, pasta, fish and chips. The food was seasoned well, a little greasy and on the pricy side... I am a very big gearhead so naturally I absolute loved the interior of this place, especially the Saleen S7 I dined next to, I ordered a burger and fries and my girlfriend got a pulled pork sandwich, my burger was good tasting but was a very dry plate overall and required a lot of condiments to fix that. Her pulled pork was very flavorful and surprised us. The wait for food was a lot longer than expected for a Wednesday night but it was not unbearable. We will definitely be coming back to try other menu items soon. read more

This is a super cute restaurant. When you walk in it's like you're in a racing garage. There are racing flags, cars on display, and memorabilia. The food was delicious too. There was soooo much to choose from, that I'll have to go back. Lol. Appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soup, burgers, even sushi and dessert. I got the cheesesteak with piston (onion) rings. Everything on the menu has something to do with racing too. My friend got the brisket grilled cheese with fried pickles. These pickles were some of the best I've ever had.
