Usually, if you want to deliver a package overnight to the East Coast, any fedex has a cut-off time of 5:45, no exceptions. If you come here, though...they'll make an exception. The reason that this place is awesome...they take your packages if you're a little late. The Fedex in downtown is pretty awesome, too, they'll try to help you if you call in and need help. It really just depends on the employees, but I find that all of the people here are really helpful and not snotty. They have the latest pick-up time as well...anywhere else is around 5:15-5:30. This may not be a big deal for you..if you're not overnighting stuff everyday. But since I'm always rushing here, breathly, with a bunch of boxes like a nutty woman, trying to get here by 6 pm...it is a life-saver. Otherwise I have to drive to the airport Fedex. p.s. The package then disappeared for 3 days with absolutely NO tracking or scanning on it, until I contacted my LOCAL PO (why it originally went to BG, I don't know. Perhaps they work on Sundays, and the local PO doesn't) and requested they locate the package. They did find it the same day, and I had to go to the BG PO to pick it up. I have to wonder how long it would have taken to do something about that big box if I hadn't contacted my local PO?? BG needs to do better.

I had a really disappointing experience at Southgate Pack N Ship…read more Before I came in, I spoke with the Cesar over the phone and explained that I had 190 Forever stamps I was looking to sell. I told him the price I was hoping to get, and he told me to come in because they would buy them. When I arrived at the time he told me to come, he wasn't there, so I had to leave and come back later. When I returned, I waited for him to finish a conference before showing him the stamps. Almost immediately when inspecting the stamps, he asked if I had been kicked off Amazon, which caught me off guard. Throughout the interaction, he repeatedly laughed at me and at the price I had originally mentioned over the phone. He said he could get stamps for $10 a sheet at the post office, and each time I tried to explain my reasoning, he would laugh, walk away, and then come back to continue the conversation in the same way. He even started speaking in Spanish to customers in the store about me. The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable and belittled. At one point I explained that I was simply trying to sell the stamps so I could go home and visit my dad. His response was, "Oh, to Minnesota, huh?" I also explained that the price I had mentioned was simply my asking price as a reseller, and that I understood a buyer's offer would naturally be different. When he finally made an offer, I politely asked if there was any flexibility. Before I could even finish, he interrupted me and said, "Actually, I wasn't going to offer anything." After I accepted the offer and was paid, I decided to buy a couple sheets of stamps. As I handed over the cash he had just given me moments earlier, he told his employee, "Make sure to check for counterfeit." That comment was especially uncomfortable because I was using the exact cash he had just handed me. I completely understand that businesses are free to make whatever offer they think is fair, and I have no issue negotiating or even walking away if we can't agree on a price. What bothered me wasn't the offer--it was the way I was treated throughout the interaction. I expected a professional conversation, not to be laughed at, interrupted, or made to feel embarrassed. Based on my experience, I won't be returning.

They handed it to me at my house. I'll change my rating from 1/5 to 3/5 since they did next-day it on a weekend to make up for the initial no delivery. I think speaking to a person is the way to go, because they can mark it as 'priority' to fix it. I told support it was medicine, so they marked it priority. -------------------- Delivery driver showed up to house, marked undeliverable, and left. My package had important medication. There are no dogs outside, no fence blocking the way, no code. It's literally just a house. Customer service said they'd priority it and try to send it back same-day. Of course it didn't happen. Now I guess time will tell if I was robbed, and have to get the medication from somewhere else quickly. Stressed out and miserable looking this company up and seeing everyone else's horror stories.
