You guys..... this place was such a hidden dream. It doesn't look like much when you go in. And you'd only know that it's there from internet searching the restaurants in the area... They have.. a churro waffle..! You honestly should eat it after your meal. It's delicious!! A perfect mix of a warm churro and a slightly crispy waffle. Topped with ice cream!! I also ordered a burger too but only because they have, really, really good fries. I didn't expect their fries to be so tasty. It's like everything was unexpectedly delicious. Will definitely be going back.

After our 30 mile Bike the Drive in the city, we were hungry. We've been here a couple times as it's close to Wellness House and came after their 5K fundraiser. With six in our group, my daughter and I got a Gyro omelette and Tijuana omelette that had steak, jalapeños etc. both were excellent. I had a side of French toast that was scrumptious. Couple of skillets and a chipotle chicken wrap finished off our orders. All agreed the food was tasty and service was good. Good size quantity for a good price compared to so many of these breakfast chains that overcharge these days.

My experience at Garden Berry was good, however it has not made my list of top breakfast spots. We were seated and served quickly, however both bathrooms were completely out of order and we were told the Shell gas station down the street was the best option. For a brunch spot on a Sunday, I would guess having at least one working bathroom should be a top priority. The food came out quickly and was good, but not anything spectacular. I ordered the Tijuana omelette with a side of fruit and pancakes. I appreciated the choice of selecting two sides, and also everything was relatively affordable, with this meal costing $16. Overall, good service and decent food with some facilities issues leaves me with a 3 star rating!

Everything was delicious! Our server was very polite and the service was speedy. Will definitely be back.

Location: plenty of parking. There's a sign by the plaza entrance for the restaurant and it's only a 10 second walk to the restaurant door. Restaurant itself was a good size and tables are big. Just a bit too big for 2 people sitting across each other in my opinion but I'm a tiny person so I often had to come close to the table instead of sitting back when speaking. Place was clean and slightly decorated. I went on a weekday morning with a friend which was nice, not too many people so it wasn't too noisy. FOOD WAS GOOD. It was a huge portion and good price. I ordered the avocado egg Benedict without the chorizo (I don't eat meat or poultry) and shared a very Berry crepes with my friend. It was the savory and sweet breakfast I was looking for. Ingredients tasted fresh, especially the berries (strawberry, raspberry and blueberries). I love that it wasn't just a sliced tomato put on top of the English muffin, it was actually diced and seasoned. Sauce and potatoes was okay, pretty average. Crepes were good. Good balance of crepe and filling. Didn't need the syrup as it tasted good on it own. If you like a sweet hot chocolate and lots of sweet cream. The restaurants hot chocolate is your drink! Good sized cup and cream was over the top. They also had a nice selection of teas. Service was amazing! I went in and was seated right away. I had servers come shortly after that asking if I want drinks and was often checked on throughout my visit.

This spot is marketed as a "neighborhood steakhouse" ended up feeling more like "modern american faire" to me. The menu offers a variety of meat cuts, seafood, salads, handheld items, elevated apps and more. The inside feels like a sophisticated bistro with a cozy atmosphere. For drinks, we started with the Bee's Knees & Smoked Apple Butter Old Fashioned. The Bee's Knees was perfectly balanced and flavors played well off each other. The Smoked Apple Butter Old Fashioned utilizes one of his "jam session" products which was fun. The flavor was a bit more spiced than I was expecting and could have used a bit more of a spirit punch. For appetizers, we started with the Toasted Ravioli and Crab Cakes. The portions were smaller but the flavors were fresh. Hearing Chef Paul Virant is from St. Louis, connected some of the fun options like Toasted Ravioli. The insides had the perfect meat to cheese ratio and the red sauce was nice. The Crab Cakes tastes fresh and I loved the sauce on top with it. After apps, we decided to share the Vistro Burger. This burger is rated the best burger in the Western Suburbs and I now understand why. Burger, Caramelized Onions, Bacon, Pimento Cheese, and a soft bun is put together and burst with flavor. The burger was a bit messy but just made me want to enjoy it more. Our server was nice to split the entree into two portions for us. For dessert, we ordered the St Louis Gooey Butter Cake which was phenomenal! We also got the Mexican Chocolate drink to share which was the perfect nightcap. We were also celebrating a special event so complimentary champagne & a blondie dessert were given to us. Overall, there are some great pieces to Vistro Prime. The burger has a reputation for a reason and is well worth a trip to try. Some appetizer & drink portions were a bit small for the price point but flavors were good. Our service was good but not amazing sadly for having dined at an earlier time. Either way, I'm so happy I was able to experience another one of Chef Paul Virant's amazing spots!

With all the funky charm of those "fun casual" places I frequented back in the 70s, it's a real nostalgia trip for us boomers. The menu is from another era too, but in a good way. Cooked to perfection and delicious. They also have interesting meat options (bison anyone?). Jalapeño poppers were good (and seemed homemade - not frozen - they were a special when we were there). Decent wine list for a pub (good beer list also) and great, not great fries. I would definitely return. Kid friendly also - plenty of tables had young kids (though not sure about the high chair situation). Great prices also - good all around.
