This is a great spot for a relaxing lunch, whether you're catching up with a friend or dining solo. I just love the setting for the cafe (Full Circle Book Store). You just feel a bit smarter and better about yourself as soon as you walk in. :) I had the Full Circle Wrap (chicken and goat cheese and pesto) and it was delicious. The side salad and house dressing was pretty remarkable, too. The green-blueberry tea was outstanding. Know that they do have wine available too. The lady that works the cafe has the weirdest personality. Just poor communication skills. Also, the hours on the cafe are extremely confusing. It says breakfast at 8am on your site and shows breakfast options, not just pastries before 11:30. I read through Google reviews and realized a lot of people complain about that lady. Got a London fog with oat milk, which tasted great! My main concern was that it cost $7:50. True it was a large sized drink, but given it's just an earl grey tea bag, steamed milk, and vanilla it seemed extremely overpriced to me. Drinks are way way expensive for what they are and the lady behind the counter in the mornings is SO mean. She does not smile at all and acts completely annoyed that you're even there. She also rudely asks "Do you want to leave a tip" which apparently you have to do from behind the counter (terrible business model btw) and then you have to say to her face yes or no. And of course you want to answer no because she has treated you terribly! But you feel obligated to tip on a $7 coffee order that's like 6 ounces. I don't know how they hope to compete with chains with that pricing and that service. read more

The cafe inside full circle books is about what you would expect to find within a bookstore. It was cold-ish but they had multiple space heaters on making it warmer. I had a coconut milk latte. It wasn't anything special, but tasted good. They had the usual options on the menu with some specials that had a creative theme. They serve breakfast and lunch at certain hours. All in all, a nice place to grab a coffee and find a book to read as you sip. read more

This cafe has a ton of coffee flavors, all of which are good. They also have many pastries and desserts. Oh and snacks, like potato chips. One of the things I like about the Garden Cafe at Full Circle Bookstore is they have a couple of love seats by a fireplace. It's conducive to chatting or reading. They also have traditional tables and chairs. Oh, and of course they have WiFi. During the week they serve breakfast and lunch, including a soup of the day. Pretty disappointed in my experience here. Ordered the GARDEN CAFE SPECIAL - full sandwich was the CHICKEN CLUB and it came with a GARDEN SALAD. Chicken club was horrible. The chicken was most definitely not fresh!! The salad was better, but nothing great. Came here to meet with two people for lunch. One person has food allergies and so they had brought their own lunch. The other two of us ordered food and tipped as we ordered at the counter. Halfway through the meal, the counter attendant came to our table to inform us that outside food was not welcome. We explained the situation of the food allergy and instead of being understanding or even kind (after all, there were two paying customers as well) she repeated, "in the future do not bring food". There is nothing posted about this policy, and you are allowed to have outside food in all other parts of the book store. My companion went to speak to the general manager of the store, Dana to discuss the policy. She was told that she was welcome to sit at the table and WATCH HER FRIENDS EAT and then eat elsewhere in the store, but she could not bring food to eat at the table. Food allergies are a disability. If a person does not feel comfortable eating the food because of allergy concerns, and can eat their own food anywhere else in the store AND can sit at the table with the paying customers WITHOUT EATING, what is the point of this policy? The manager was extremely rude to suggest that you can sit in a chair and watch others eat because your disability prevents you from partaking, but you can eat anywhere else on the premises. They already post that you cannot sit at a table without buying something, so they need to add "any outside food and drink is strictly prohibited at the tables". Then people with this situation can go somewhere friendly to eat and not be harassed during a meal in front of the entire dining area. I wonder if this applies to toddlers who can't eat the chicken salad sandwiches? Moms can eat...toddler can WATCH. I suppose the moms have to order food to go and take the little tyke to away a corner of the store if junior gets hungry too... It's sad because the actual bookstore staff is so friendly and helpful but the hateful management and cafe staff ruined this place for us all. read more

Chef Rudy has got skills! Best veggie quiche in town, hands down. The rotating soups are excellent too! My favorite is the chicken tortilla and the chicken corn chowder. I highly recommend the southwest chicken wrap. It's loaded with beans, chicken, corn, lettuce, and spice. The Cobb salad is my favorite salad. It's enormous and quite fulfilling. The baristas are always friendly and helpful. Very creative with their rotating drink specials. I eat here at least once a week. If you're in the mood for something sweet they have a great selection of cookies, pastries, and gelato. They have pretty much every syrup flavor imaginable, so it's quite fun to experiment different drink combinations. On the weekend there's FREE live music. Some of the regulars include Miss. Brown to You, Howard Brady, Jessica Tate, Raven's Three, and Kestrel and Kite. When the weather is nice, I love eating outside in the garden. So beautiful and secluded. read more

If you can ignore the rude woman behind the counter, this place is great. I asked for a cinnamon cream cheese danish and she threw it out on the counter for me to grab without even requesting to heat it up, walks out of the shop to be on the phone on the back patio ignoring people at the counter, then she kicked out a quiet girl who was reading for taking up a chair during their lunch hours. If I hadn't been here before knowing the other employees were incredible I wouldn't recommend this place as highly as I do. read more

I've been pretty clear about my love for Full Circle bookstore, but realized recently I've never reviewed the dear little Garden Café, located just inside Full Circle. Much like it's bookstore-mothership, this is one of the unsung heroes that makes me happy I live in OKC. In addition to coffee, tea and gelato, they also have a nice little menu of staples: tomato soup, cold cut sandwiches and salads. I'm a fan of the Tuscan tuna salad, served on mixed greens with basil vinaigrette; a half sandwich will run you $5 but is plenty for lunch (unless you're just famished). I'd add a fifth star for a more variety on the menu (maybe a Kasier's-type mix-and-match sandwich/soup/salad for a set price). But then, this isn't Kaiser's, and I respect a place that knows what they accomplish with limited space and limited staff. I give major bonus points for a well-thought out list of wines by the glass and beers from COOP Ale Works. Surrounded by books with a generous pour of Kung Fu Girl Riesling, free Wi-Fi, a quiet environment: It's like the library, but with good food and booze. I'm in. read more

For a quiet, low key breakfast experience, why not try the book shop? I'm not sure how long they've been offering breakfast, but it's a nice option to have. Your coffee will be served in a to go cup unless you ask for a real mug, which I did. There's no milk or cream amongst the condiments - only that powdered pretend stuff - but I imagine you'd get some real dairy upon request. The omelette I was served was light and flavorful, pleasantly non greasy, and came with a side of mixed fruit. Not a bad deal for under 8 bucks, coffee included. On a Wednesday morning it's quiet in here, but the few other patrons are chatting and computering, and possibly solving the world's problems. Who can say? There's also a cozy, somewhat unexpected green spot outside where you could chose to dine surrounded by trees and shrubs. I would have been out there in a flash if the wind weren't so feisty. Tried the vegetable quiche. I never realized it, but quiches are pretty good! I like how it's like an omelet baked inside a flakey pie crust. Quiche was served piping hot, seasoned well, and perfect consistency. It is served with a side of mixed fruit. read more

The lady behind the counter (no name tag, but she had green tipped hair) was incredibly abrupt and impatient when my husband and I were ordering. Had a lovely salmon quiche for lunch... A great place to stop in for a coffee or a glass of wine. Love coming here.
