    Crunchy Grouper Sandwich
    Madison J.

This place is a quaint little home style place. The service was really good and the food came out quick. I really loved the tuna poke appetizer. The French fries were perfectly crunchy and thin. The grouper sandwich was pretty thin and mostly breading. I also had half of the chicken caprese panini which was also flavorful. It's a good spot after the beach since it's very close to Juno. They have indoor/outdoor seating.

Great little hidden gem in Juno! Great service, great food and great value! Portions are generous too. All those make me want to come back.

    Calamari

I'm so sad we didn't go to this place sooner. We live in the area and we had a wonderful lunch time experience. Service was great. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and then both ordered the crispy grouper. Mine without a bun and my husband's as a Reuben. All the food was good. The fries were the best I've had in a longtime. Crispy and not greasy. The fish was so crispy and delicious. We'll be back!

We came here for breakfast brunch and were not disappointed. Fast service, nice server and great food. I had the avocado toast with 2 perfected let poached eggs and home fries. My husband had a turkey pesto wrap with the truffle fries. Food was really delicious. We would definitely recommend this place.

The wings are by far some of the best wings ever... crispy outer coating and tender wings inside - very generous sized wings... they come right off the bone...served with carrots and celery and sauces. The burger was 2 patties with cheese and some kind of sauce - delicious. The fries are crinkle cut - also good. We were very content with our meal. The service is consistent, bartender talks to everyone, takes orders quickly as people come to the bar. The restaurant has TVs and a pool table, indoor booths, bar and outdoor picnic tables. The vibe is that of a locals type place with a bar that seats around 15 people, approximately 7-8 tables along the wall that seat 4 at each table as well as additional seating for larger parties. There are also some electronic games to entertain adults as well as kids. Good chill spot!

The fries are hand cut and amazing, the brussel sprouts are to die for, and the mashed potatoes are literally a taste of home. I am a frequenter of Stormhouse, and have had nearly everything on their menu, from the Lobster Bisque to the specials, such as their Italian Philly or Corned Beef and Cabbage (on select events), and I can tell you everything is to die for. Their bar, unlike most breweries, has a full liquor license, which means I can get a wide range of bevvy's if I'm in the mood as well, which I like. One of my favourite things about Stormhouse though, honestly, is the people! Penny, Santi, Michelle, and Brian, are all awesome, and the owners are always around and very friendly as well. If you have questions about the process of how they made their beers, they're happy to explain it. They also have events all the time, which are fun themed nights, and also something I wish more breweries would do. Whether it's a summer luau or a pirate night, the events are always awesome and a fun day/night. All in all, you can tell they really care about the quality of service, friendliness of the staff, and the overall vibe. I cannot recommend this place more highly. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars.

We were able to put in an order for drinks (I just had water) and the cheesesteak eggroll appetizers. I didn't get a photo of them because they were all gone before I could. They were cheese and hot. It came with fries as well which came out hot and fresh. My daughter had a steak sandwich which she said was delicious and really enjoyed. She also took half of the sandwich home since she was full. They had comfortable seating and there were TVs around to show sports that would be playing. The lighting was a bit dim, but after being out in the sun we didn't mind that at all (but it can be seen in the yellowish color of the food photos below).

I found them to be refreshing, well-balanced, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the short rib sliders. They had good flavor, but unfortunately the meat was a bit overcooked. Our entrée, the Wagyu steak noodle bowl, was an improvement, although the noodles seemed like they were left sitting in water too long, leaving them softer than they should have been. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it also wasn't memorable enough to make me eager to order it again. The real standout was the atmosphere. Tap 42 has a lively, inviting ambiance that's perfect for a relaxed lunch or meeting up with friends. The biggest reason for my 4 star rating, however, was our server, Nicole. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Her outstanding service elevated the entire experience and turned what could have been a 3 star visit into a solid 4 star one. Great service can make all the difference, and Nicole certainly did.

I only had breakfast that morning, skipped lunch because I was busy with work and was really looking forward to a yummy burger! When I got to CG, we placed our initial order and I ordered the blue cheese stuffed burger in the picture. We sat down and waited. My daughter's grilled cheese came out and we were told the burgers were cooking. She devoured her grilled cheese and said she wanted a second one because she was still hungry. We went up to the counter and she ordered a second grilled cheese and we also ordered zucchini fries as well as sweet potato fries. Once we placed the second order, we sat down. She got her grilled cheese pretty fast. Then my boyfriend's Burger came out. He ordered the Philly burger and he demolished that. Then the fries came out and my burger was still missing. We were told that it was cooking and it would be out shortly. Meanwhile, my daughter, and my boyfriend both finished their dinners. My burger finally came out, and it was nothing like the special was supposed to be. It came out hockey puck style, the meat was gray in the middle, the egg on it was overdone, no stuffing and no blue cheese to be found at all on it. I sent it back stating it was not what I ordered, and the girl took it in the back. The girl then came out with the same exact burger and a side of blue cheese crumbles. I guess they expected me to put blue cheese crumbles on top of my now cold burger, again not what I ordered. I handed it right back to her and told her that I wanted a refund. It was not what I ordered. It is now cold. I was very much looking forward to that burger. I have had blue cheese stuffed burgers before and they are normally delicious! The girl at the counter told me she could not refund me, so I asked for a manager. The manager came back out and the girl showed her my burger. She asked me what I ordered, and I pointed to the sign and said I ordered the special. She totally agree with me that it was not what I ordered and then offered to make me the burger that I did order. Now, my family was already done with their dinner and waiting to go home (mind you, we were now there almost an hour with no one else in the place except for us). I just told her I wanted a refund. I went home hungry, did not eat since breakfast and was super disappointed!

On our drive home from Miami to Jacksonville, we traded Interstate 95 for the slower, more scenic A1A. It made for beautiful views, but after crawling through one coastal town after another, lunch became a priority. A quick search landed us at Stage Kitchen & Bar on PGA Boulevard, a restaurant I later learned had earned a place in the 2025 Michelin Guide. After one meal, it was easy to understand why. We began with two appetizers that could not have been more different, duck confit egg rolls and a grilled cheese. Calling the grilled cheese "just a grilled cheese" would be unfair. Brie melted between perfectly griddled bread kissed with white truffle oil already sounds luxurious. Pair it with a bright mango jam and suddenly a childhood comfort food becomes something unexpectedly elegant. Richness met sweetness in all the right proportions. The duck confit egg rolls were equally memorable. The duck was deeply seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, giving each bite layers of warm, savory flavor. The accompanying peanut chutney added sweetness, nuttiness, and just enough contrast to keep the dish from becoming too heavy. These egg rolls packed far more personality than their modest appearance suggested. For lunch, my wife ordered the grilled black grouper sandwich. The fish, sourced fresh from local suppliers, was flaky, moist, and clean tasting. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and a malt vinegar aioli gave the sandwich brightness without overwhelming the fish. It was simple, balanced, and exactly what a fresh fish sandwich should be. I chose Stage's signature burger, two Certified Angus Beef patties topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, sunflower sprouts, and their house "fancy sauce." This is the kind of burger that reminds you why burgers became America's favorite sandwich in the first place. Cooked to a juicy medium, every bite was rich without becoming heavy. The caramelized onions added sweetness, the white cheddar delivered sharpness, and the sunflower sprouts provided freshness and texture. The fancy sauce contributed just enough heat to keep everything interesting without stealing the spotlight. Dessert continued the restaurant's habit of taking familiar flavors and giving them thoughtful refinement. My sticky rice ice cream, finished with mango sauce and toasted coconut, captured everything I love about mango sticky rice while transforming it into something lighter and more playful. It was creative without feeling gimmicky. My wife ordered three macarons from local pastry maker Macaroner, S'mores, Passion Fruit, and Lime Coconut. Each shell was delicately crisp before giving way to a soft, airy center, exactly as a proper macaron should. Stage Kitchen & Bar takes familiar dishes and quietly elevates them through technique, quality ingredients, and restraint. Nothing feels overcomplicated or designed simply to impress. Every plate feels carefully considered. Sometimes trusting Google is a gamble. This time, it paid off. Great restaurants don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're simply waiting for hungry travelers willing to take the next exit.
