The tipping I was nervous about bc I saw so many reviews but I didn't have any problems. My sis waited 30 min because they wouldn't accept her download. They waited around not telling her anything or any solution. I had to tell my sis to download the app and I gave her the logins. I was looking forward to trying this place and enjoying a little relaxing foot massage. The staff greeted us with a smile and tended to us fairly quickly. We walked in around 6pm and were the only customers. The space looks clean, prices are posted as you walk in. The massage bed/chairs are in a communal setting, so although you'll get to see or sit next to other people, the place is spacious. We opted for option 1, which includes head, neck, back, and feet massage for a price of $30. They sat us down, brought water to soak our feet, and began massaging the head and neck. There's a small center table to place your things, and they provided a towel/ blanket, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, as far as the massage goes, it was not very relaxing. You can opt-out of turning on the table for the back massage, but i wanted to try it all as it was offered. It felt like the lady was focusing only on pressure points on my neck and spine (which is not good) and not massaging them out. These were painful. And I was definitely sore for the whole week after. The foot massage was more of an intimidated foot/leg caress of only the L side calf with a neglected L. and R. Foot. I did ask her to focus more on feet, but this didn't work. I hate to give low ratings, so I'm hoping that I just didn't get a good masseuse. But I definitely regret the whole painful neck/back massage. I believe in giving second chances, so who knows, maybe I'll try them once more but only for the foot massage/rub if in need of just that. read more

BEWARE GROUPON USERS: The massage in the massage chair and not on the table. I thought it was going to be in a room on a table but I was wrong. The title of the Groupon is misleading. Before coming in I tried to confirm with the lady on the phone that I wanted 2 male massage therapists. She said she could accommodate and so I gladly made the appointment. When I arrived she said "sorry only 1 male, we're very busy". It's fine to be busy but don't lie to me just to get me through the door. The male was also 10minutes late and literally rushed through the entire massage. Not a relaxing or enjoyable at all. Be prepared to tip 15$. After the massage they asked for a 15$ tip. The foot massage was so awesome I fell asleep but they were a little firm on the body massage. Also, based on the other reviews I'm pretty sure they took a bunch for the tip. Like our massage total (for three people) was $100, and I was going to tip like 25 plus the 3% fee for the card, however when I got the receipt back it said 160. This place has gone downhill from when I first reviewed it over ten years ago. Massage was midrange at best. Masseuse knocked a pair of expensive Oliver People's glasses off of the table and picked them up so roughly my jaw dropped, and it seems that they now have the 'shake the customer down for more tip' routine down pat, even including the old man who works behind the counter, who had somehow 'forgotten' which combo I had selected. To make matters worse, she stretched the neck out of a $100 John Elliot T-shirt. I heard it rip a little. Inflation has finally hit Massage Queen. No longer do the days of a $45 for an hour and a half massage exist. They have a rotating door when it comes to the masseuse, but the quality is decent for the price paid. I usually go with my girlfriend for a quick feel-good session and they don't disappoint. The only thing is that even though we tip generously, it seems like they do not think we're tipping enough. I gave this place 1 star because they lady asked for a 40% tip ($40). Before we even had a chance to agree to it, she charged my card!!!!! I totally disagree with this practice. And she asked for the extra tip after I handed my credit card. She told us they work hard and that most people give $20 per person. Yeah, I could've not signed the credit card transaction, but at the moment and with the guilt trip, I didn't think. With regards to the guy I had, he was really good and worked my knots, but the person who massaged my companion did an average job. She was the one who charged my card. I just want others to know what to expect when you get a massage there. Even if the price quoted online is comparable to other places in the area, you may get pushed to give a bigger tip. Overall she was good, but there were times when she kind of stepped on my hair to start massaging me. When I was done, she gave me some tea. I went up to pay and she said $25.
