He's been our plumber for 4 years and has unclogged many drains in bathrooms and the kitchen. We bought our house 5 years ago and it was remodeled a few times by previous owners since it was built in the mid 1960's. We've come to learn it was remodeled in questionable fashion when it comes to plumbing & electrical. Fun times. Jeff does a great job troubleshooting the situation and then explains what needs to be done to solve the problem for a fair price. He's professional, on time and does a great job! He goes above and beyond your normal average plumber. This was no more evident than yesterday. We are having our master bedroom/bath remodeled and our contractor noticed a questionable plumbing issue inside the slab. I called Jeff and he was able to come out with his hi tech camera equipment and was able to successfully assist our contractor locate and identify the plumbing lines inside the slab! Noticed a leak in a line coming from our water heater and I went online to find a plumber. The one we had used for years had recently retired so I had to rely on reviews. I wanted someone local and Garrett's Plumbing showed up with excellent reviews all across the board. Called and set up an appointment with Jeff. He came out right on time (a bit early even but that was great), diagnosed the problem, and walked me through the repairs that were needed. He went to get some parts and I left him to do the work. He quickly installed a new line and valve and made sure everything was good to go. For the work he did and the time he spent, the price was reasonable and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. We have used Garrett's twice and are very satisfied with this firm! 1) The first was just a simple leaky faucet in a bathroom. Jeff asked good questions about the job, I texted him an image of the valve and he arrived ready to go with the tools needed and parts required to do the job. He wrapped it up in less than an hour and the price was competitive. 2) Recently I returned home late one evening to a wet kitchen counter. There was water dripping from the ceiling and cabinets. I shut the water off to the house and called Garrett's first thing the next morning. Jeff was promptly on the scene ready to go. Jeff was awesome and came to our rescue. We had our gas turned off due to fumigation and when the gas company came to turn the gas back on the water never heated up. After a second visit from the gas company it was determined that we most likely needed a new thermo coupler on our water heater. I called several plumbers and Jeff was the one that called me back and was kind enough to squeeze me in between appointments. We were so grateful as we had been a few days without hot water. He verified that it was the thermo coupler and replaced the part. It wasn't long before we had hot water and were happy campers again! My kitchen sink was pouring out water from under the sink. Jeff fixed the incorrectly-installed pipe connections that had been installed years before. It was a complicated project but Jeff was able to figure out the best pipe configuration. He also installed a new garbage disposal. Everything is working great! No more leaks and no more bad smells. Jeff's 35 years of plumbing experience really showed. It was a relief to see that Jeff knows what he is doing when it comes to fixing plumbing. Jeff is also a congenial, nice person. Garrett's Plumbing is the best! Jeff returned my call in a timely manner. Jeff came at the time he said he would! What a concept! He knew what he was doing from the get go! He analysed our leak problem (even though it was something that didn't need addressing in the end - no actual leak anymore, just "old" water that shifted). To assess the leak Jeff had to use outside access. He then actually swept up debris! Jeff then fixed our 10 year old, Kohler low flow toilet, no problem! He was in and out in 30 minutes total! I called on Thursday afternoon and Jeff said he could be out the next day between 9-12. He said I was the 2nd customer and it would probably be closer to the 9. He texted me at 9:15 saying he was on his way. I had 3 plumbing problems, 2 in a bathroom (shower and sink) and 1 in the kitchen. He was able to complete the work for all 3 in under 1.5 hours. He also had to leave to get a part and return and still under 1.5 hours. His communication was great and price was fair/reasonable. I was highly recommend to friends and family.
