I tried Dr. Martin based on Yelp reviews, which were on the money! I'd had an open abdominal surgery that had put me on the couch for almost 2 months and my back was killing me- on my first visit I couldn't even sit down without falling down. Seriously, a LOT of pain. My first adjustment really took the edge off the pain and after 3 visits the pain wasn't nearly as debilitating. I've also started getting massage therapy in Dr. Martin's office from Stephanie, which has really helped before the adjustment. I just moved here about a month ago, and was looking for a chiro. I had really bad lower back pain, and have had it for a while. My previous chiro wasn't getting the job done, and I was moving. The minute I stepped in the office, I felt relaxed. Dr. Martin explained the chiropractic process to me, and always asked me if I had any questions with the process. Out of four chiros I've been to, he's the first that has told me why he decided to enter the practice. He took X-rays, and he adjusted me in the places that needed adjusting, right after he analyzed them. I've been going there for about three weeks now, and my back is feeling pretty good. I originally sought out chiropractic care because I had been in a little fender-bender and my neck and back were feeling the affects of the trauma. I came to see Dr. Martin because of my back and neck hurting. The pain had kept me from sleeping a full nights rest as well as being in chronic pain that had been inescapable. Since seeing Dr. Martin I have had the level of my pain reduced. The neck pain is gone and the back pain has dropped dramatically. I am currently receiving massages once a week as well as being adjusted weekly. This has given me back a surprising amount of mobility to and to state the obvious, a large reduction in pain. I am able to get appointments that are convenient for ME and even if a time is taken, they almost always have a time that works for me. Before he worked on me he took xrays to see what he was working with and adjusted his methods for me and how to adjust me. My masseuse is named Sharon (Not sure on the spelling, sorry) She is extremely knowledgeable about what she does and customizes every clients visit to address their personal issue. Mine is my back and she does the back, true... But she also does the hips, legs, neck and I forgot the rest but it's all to address the issue in my back. And it isn't just "do is once and expect the same thing forever" (unless that's what you need) she asks each visit what is wrong so she can customize your massage. My wife and son both recommended Dr. Martin to me. I was experiencing excruciating lower back pain and was able to secure an appointment shortly after calling the office. Dr. Martin spent a couple of minutes gathering information from me; the location of pain, the amount of pain and the mobility loss I had because of the pain. I had a chronic left chest sharp pain continuously for the last 4 years and it was affecting my quality of life dramatically, I couldn't workout, play, drive, sleep or even take a deep breath without pain in my chest, I couldn't hold my little daughter or carry my groceries without the pain, I checked so many doctors over the past years including heart specialist and none of them where able to identify the problem, I tried so many medications and anti inflammatory to reduce the pain but nothing was able to cure that sharp pain in my chest till I visited Dr Martin and after diagnosis he was so knowledgeable to identify the true cause of my chest pain, I was having rib and spinal misalignment "rib subluxation" that's causing a pressure on the nerve underneath the rib (due to misalignment of the rip with the spine) and causing the sharp pain in my chest. I have had regular debilitating back pain for more than 40 years. I went to Dr. Martin for treatment of an emergency episode of extreme back pain. After about 10 days of his treatment I had no pain and was completely comfortable doing any normal activity. Since then I go for regular adjustments. My episodes severe of back severe back pain have decreased from about once every month or six weeks to not even once a year. Recently I slipped on a tennis court and severely injured my knee. Dr. Martin recommended laser treatment and physio therapy. After each treatment I was significantly and noticeably better. Now I am back playing tennis. I am a fervent believer in science and when it comes to issues with your personal health, you go see your regular Dr. (so I thought). So one morning I woke up with an excruciating lower back pain and I could not get out of bed. Soon I realized I could not go to work and decided to visit the local urgent care. While there, X-ray done, "everything looks normal, do some stretches to untangle your lower back muscles, this will help to alleviate your pain" the Dr. said. I left the urgent care after receiving an injection for my back pain and shortly after I started feeling like the million dollar man again. My pain was gone... while the effect of injection lasted. Within a few hours, my pain had returned and worse. Next morning I did a quick search for a local Chiropractor and Google gave me a few around the area I live in. For whatever reason, I picked Dr. Martin's office phone number and called in. The receptionist who answered the phone was so understandable of the pain I was in, that she immediately set an appointment for me. I have never had chiropractic work done before so I was not really sure what to expect when I first went in to see Dr. Martin.
