He first redid 6 dining room chairs, then I brought an entire car seat to him a few years later. Both times the work was excellent. So when our 20 year old sofa showed considerable leather degradation my wife and I looked for a replacement. However finding a comparable quality sofa at less than $10K was not possible. My wife suggested using Jose again as we knew his quality and workmanship. He has so many available options in regard to color and quality that is was easy to make a match. The price to repair including pickup and delivery was far below what purchasing a comparable sofa would have cost us. We always loved the feel and comfort of that sofa and were so happy that Jose could restore it and match the color and appearance.

He may be good for small projects but not a full interior like I had. Pros: -The rear speaker deck cover he did came out as I expected and was perfect to me. -Rear seats came out good. -Bernard is a nice guy and will answer any question you might have. Cons: -Bad communication. Hardly answered my call or texts. I still have the text messages. -Deadline dates were never met. There was always an excuse. -He took 2 deposits from me then asked me for the entire amount and delivers 2 months later. 5 business days is how long he told me it would take. -Shop is swarmed with kittens/cats so beware if you're allergic like me. Your upholstery will smell like it. My seats smell like pee or dirty cat. I don't know... -Does not pay attention to detail. Seats came back with stains and damage. Glue was left on the seat. Red stitching was not straight and even on the seat. -I felt like I was being pushed off after I paid in full. 5/23 UPDATE: 5/23 - all pictures were recent. They even have the GPS location on where I took them and what time. I have no reason to lie about this. I have every single text messages saved on my phone. Yes I was happy with the rear seats and door panels. Matter in fact, the door panels are already bubbling up. Should I do a new review for that? I posted 1 of many pics that I've taken at his business where he said I lied about posting old pictures. I asked him for a price for everything and he gave it to me. Oscar responded with clear and reasonable quotes and a 5-wk process time. sofas were picked up as scheduled. since we're trying to save some $ and matching the seat cushion, there were not too many choices of fabric to choose from. and It was hard/expensive to find trims that matched original design of the sofa. Oscar's staff explained and talked me into just doing simple piping along the base and around all the pillows. the day before delivery I called to confirm (I was really worried they won't make it for my party scheduled day after delivery), then again the morning of delivery and late afternoon. they finally delivered around 5pm on delivery day, 2hrs after their closing time. the sofas looked really nice and the simple piping actually enhanced the seat cushions. we really like it. Oscar was very responsive via text. the staffs were all very helpful throughout the process.
