Latin Restaurant Weeks 2025! Great deal!
    Allison L.

Happy to find this little gem inside of Levy Park on the Latin Restaurant Weeks website! I had been to other restaurants in Levy Park, but did not pay much attention to the food truck Gaspachos. Looking at places on the LRW website, I saw this is a more permanent stand. Welcoming staff. We tried to order at the kiosk, however it didn't have LRW as an option, so we checked with the bartender and she took our order. For $25 we selected (to share between two people): -Lime margarita -Birria Elote -Chicken Torta -Churros It was perfect size, great flavors, and a GREAT DEAL! -

The tacos were delicious, and had a lot of food in them despite them being small. They were corn tortillas Which I usually wouldn't get but that's what they had which were good! The pepper they provided me with my meal was good and spicy! The margarita was good, but I really didn't taste any alcohol. They had free doggie treats as well, as a menu for your doggies as well!

    Happy hour margs $6!

I've tried Gaspachos a few times whenever I venture over to Levy park. It's a very convenient option for light bites and drinks after hanging around outside and enjoying the fresh air. It happened to be Taco Tuesday when I most recently stopped by so I had the street tacos, $1.50 each with a minimum order of 5. They're the small portion street tacos but still were pretty filling. I wish I could remember which one was my favorite, perhaps carnitas because it was more savory and flavorful compared to the others. The other tacos like shrimp ceviche, and chicken were very bland. The ceviche one was pretty soggy. They also have happy hour drinks so I ordered a mango margarita for $6. It was actually very good, cool refreshing and sweet. Service wise, food came out pretty quick. It probably only too 8-10 minutes. Don't have too much to comment on regarding the server. She wasn't particularly friendly, but it more so appeared to be her overall demeanor was a flat affect so won't knock the overall service too much. My overall opinion, it's convenient and cheap while in the area. But not exactly a restaurant you'd actually seek or go out of your way to visit.

This is located within Levy Park, next to the dog parks. We decided to grab something to eat and went with this as it was the closest to where we were. You have to order from a kiosk on the side, and also pickup in the same area. Definitely overpriced for what you get, especially the street tacos. It was mini street tacos so really small for $12, not worth it. The hot dog wasn't anything special as well. We were all still hungry after. They do have a happy hour so it might be better then, but I'd probably try the other places to eat at the park instead next time.

We took the advantage of Tuesday tacos to visit the place since they claim to have $1.50/taco. When we were there and ordered the food and was told told to order at least 5 tacos which is no problem since it's super small. When we paid we realized they over charged us to $1.69 and not $1.50 and when we inquired about it the lady blamed on the system pricing on the iPad. It's not about the 19 cents per taco but more of an honesty of the place. You have to follow what you advertised. The lady saw that we questioned about it so return back $1.30 for the 7 tacos. Food was good and the mangonada was small but overall it was OK.

Must visit if you're looking for tasty tacos or a cold beverage while at the park. Pros: -Great tasting street tacos -Cold drinks -Conveniently located next to the dog park -Great friendly staff -Awesome music -Taco Tuesday deals -Happy hour specials -Tasty margaritas Cons: -None

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
