This is a cute place in a good location in downtown Lake Orion and i love patronizing local…read morebusiness. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday and had no issue getting a table. We had some craft cocktails- the Pink Lady and the Pink Pedal. Both were tasty but I preferred the refreshing citrus in the pink pedal on a hot day. We ordered a charcuterie board w the whitefish dip for an appetizer and the beet salad and Mediterranean pizza for our meal. The board was just OK. Two types of cheese, two slices each; two types of meat; three slices of those. Honey mustard; jam; raisins and a few corn snacks. Not enough crackers (4) for what we had. The whitefish was already a $4 upcharge; and we asked for extra crackers, it was another $3 charge. Most folks don't eat whitefish dip straight so that was a miss in my opinion. A $24 appetizer is a lot. The beet salad was all arugula and pretty good with a tangy dressing. The pizza did not come with cheese; so that was another upcharge. And its topped with more tangy arugula so that's on us for not realizing how many greens we had ordered. The service was friendly and attentivefor the most part. We had hoped to order their cheesecake but the server got tied up with other tasks outside and we had a fixed time frame so by the time she came back we had to leave. Would I come back? Perhaps to sit at the bar and have some drinks and appetizers. I don't know that I would order meals again. Owners should pay attention to the nickle and diming as it does tarnish the experience. Pizzas by nature should come w cheese even if its optional. If you upcharge for dip on the board pay attention to what the patron might need w that additional item. $3 for some extra crackers to go w the dip is excessive.

The food was delicious and they make a mean (really good) caramel coffee!!!…read moreThe service has always been top notch when we have been there.

This brunch spot was absolutely wonderful. I was visiting family and had brunch here on 8/10/26…read more The space was very clean and bright. It was bit cold inside but since it was so hot outside, I was still happy about it. We were a large party and came by with no reservations but as it was a Monday, we didn't have to wait at all and were seated right away. I didn't catch the name of the server (I forgot her name) but she was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and ---as a person who works in hospitality, I know how difficult it can be to serve a table of 3 adults and 6 children but she was a pro. She gave great recommendations, was very sweet with the kids, checked up on us regularly and made the entire experience awesome. The food itself was amazing. They have quite a variety of things and I chose to have the Mushroom Benedict ($17) and it came with a side (I chose a side of roasted potatoes). I haven't been to Michigan in 9 years and I live in Los Angeles so these prices are very reasonable and even cheap considering what I'm used to paying for brunch back home. I didn't have any drinks but saw they have a full bar. When I'm back in town, this is definitely a place I would love to come back to.

The food is great but the management is horrendously inefficient…read more We got into a car accident on our way to meet friends for brunch causing us to run a bit late. We texted our friends our order and were 20 minutes out when the table was ready. They refused to seat our group, demanding we all be there because the table would then be taken up too long (even though our friends had our order and food takes time to cook ANYWAYS). We got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another hour just to be able to get a table that we had been waiting for an insanely long amount of time. There is no flexibility, humanity, or understanding with this restaurant. Only robots who "have policies" and are "sorry - that's just the way things are." Honestly, McDonald's is better at this point. At least the food is on par with the shit service at McDonald's. No point in nice breakfast if the people aren't even.kind
