Very disorganized and lack of customer (review from 3/2018) RANT Gators dockside of Windermere I must say that we have given this place many chances and we are done trying it. The manager is horrible and they are the rudest people I have encountered. They must hire the crap of the creme. Today we walked in one person in front of us no hostess in sight. Then she comes grabs something and left again then 5 min laters tells the party in front to sit and puts them on a list. Takes our name and says 10 min. She say the party before us and after 10 min I approach her and she says our kitchen is backed up it will be 45 minutes. I am are you kidding I have two hungry toddlers and she could have said this before we couldn't of easily been elsewhere. Manager comes and says sorry but I must let my kitchen catch up sorry nothing we can do. Are you kidding me!!!! She didn't even try to accommodate us or asked if we were ok w sitting and maybe give us some chips and drinks I mean nothing it was like bye... Food is very good for the price, but our orders are often wrong. We have ordered for pickup probably five or six times. The fish & chips are good, as is the spinach artichoke dip. Unfortunately, there are often missing items when we pick up, and unfortunately, we usually find out only when we get home. Twice the condiments (salsa and sour cream) were missing for the quesadilla.Twice the tartar sauce has been missing for the fish & chips. This last time, I showed up at the designated time (40 minutes) to pick up our order and the order hadn't been placed yet. The guy was very apologetic and rushed the order for us. OK...no biggie. He then noted our request for malt vinegar and placed that item in the bag. I thought well done...good attention to detail. I didn't bother to open the foil tray to ensure my tartar sauce was in...and left. Got home...no tartar sauce. OK....Good bye. We are not too picky, but we just won't bother to order from them again. Got to the bar 45 minutes early to watch a football game. Sat at the bar in front of the tv that appeared to have our game on. It was not labeled under the tv. There are 6 football games on and 5 TVs at the bar. We checked all other TVs to see if see should be sitting in a different seat but none were labeled with the game we wanted. Once the games started the tv in front of us changed to a different game. We politely asked to have the tv changed as we were the only people sitting in front of it and were told that it could not be changed per the manager. Asked if we could speak with him/her and they never came. We had to move to a table in the middle of the restaurant to find a tv with the game on ( only to finish the drinks we had already purchased). Horrible customer service! I would understand if the bar was busy or if there were others watching that tv but that wasn't the case. read more

Takeout: greek salad with gyro meat: got a container of lettuce with no meat, no dressing; Nacho's no taste, very little cheese or meat with mostly chips, Smoked pork sandwich was dry, tasteless. This fabulous meal was an hour past the time they told me to pick it up. The manager had a careless attitude. Won't be back. read more

Only open around a month and we've been there at least four times. All staff members are friendly and welcoming. Great team and manager here. The food is good and specials seem to be a hit. It's a laid back venue with good eats and people. Enjoy!! read more

Pretty sure my 2 year old daughter got food poisoning here today. She had the hotdog and Broccoli. Will not be going back!

I ate here and unfortunately wasn't to fond of my meal. (I don't think it was the cooking in their defense. I am a very picky eater) And our waiter Evan noticed that I barely touched my food and took it upon himself to remove the meal from my check and bring me a dessert on the house. Service was bad from the start. Took about 15 minutes to grab our drink orders. Asked for boneless wings and received regular wings. Finally got the boneless wings and they came out tiny. Smaller than chicken nuggets, absolutely ridiculous and drenched in sauce for $23. Not even going to attempt to come back. read more

Apparently this location opened a few months ago but my husband and I just discovered it. I am so glad that we did. I was apprehensive as I scanned through some of the reviews while we were waiting on our food but ended up being blown away by how perfect this place is. The service was on point and the food was fresh and delicious. I got a gyro with fries and my husband had mojo pork tacos. We both had no complaints about either and thought they were delicious. The menu is huge and has a variety of food from sandwiches to dinner style entrees to a vast array of appetizers. My husband also had wings which he said were great too. We were so pleased that we came back three days later, expecting there would be no way the food would come out as great as it did a few days prior (because isn't that how it always works?) but it was just as good. This time we sat at the bar, which has an indoor side and a side that is situated on the patio with a fan above to keep you cool. The bartenders were very attentive. The only complaint I have was the wings came out late. Other then that another superb experience. I'm not sure how this place has bad reviews because we just had two wonderful experiences in a row. If you're looking for a unique atmosphere you won't find it here. It's a basic usual causal dining restaurant/bar in a neighborhood plaza. I could do without the drink posters plastered all over the dining room because I think it cheapens the place. It's not run down by any means and it's new and seems clean, but you just won't be blown away by the ambiance. But if you're looking for great service and great food you will likely find it here. We went this past weekend even though we were a little weary from the reviews. Our server was fabulous and everything was timely. I ordered the boneless wings and my husband ordered the grilled wings. When my plate came out I was confused, the boneless wings were basically little cubes of chicken, not rounded or oval..but actual cubes. I figured ok they're different but I'm sure they're great. Wrong. They were only a little warm and it was like eating a sponge with some crunchy areas. I tried to like them. I had my husband taste one to see if I was crazy and he thought the same thing. I tell our waitress and I ask to switch it out for the grilled wings. Sure no problem, also the manager Trevor may come out. He apologized and made sure to know how I wanted the grilled wings. They came out and were great! Then we get the check after being told we'd see the discount at the bottom. Except all they did was take off the horrible $9 boneless wings but I still paid for the $12 wings. They could have just left the $9 on there and saved me a few bucks. But nope, not even that. Where other places would have just discounted my meal all together or done a general ticket discount. As a new business in the area you should go further to make people want to come back, even after a bad experience. read more

My roommate Cassie and I went in on the first Sunday of football season. We have different teams we enjoy watching and the Redskins and Broncos were playing at the same time so we decided to go out to watch the games. We decided to go to Gator's for the good prices on drinks and food. Rebecca was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive and always made sure we had refreshed drinks at the table by the time we were finished with what we were drinking. She was also extremely patient as we took a little while to decide what we wanted to eat. You can definitely tell that this restaurant strong believes in teamwork because we had several servers bring drinks and food to our tables. Mike, the manager, made sure we had everything we wanted and helped make sure everything was out in a timely fashion. My roommate had never been to a Gator's so she was extremely impressed. Thank you for always taking great care of your patrons. We will definitely be back! Again, we could have had a very different experience had it not been for Rebecca and Mike. read more
