We stopped by to get a quick snack before our late dinner & it was very underwhelming to say the least. 1st let me give the positive-our server was great! She was sweet & super apologetic for the mishaps that occurred. The gator taters were good too. That's it! Now on to the ugh! I ordered the grilled teriyaki wings & my husband ordered the boneless bbq wings with gator taters. We also ordered margaritas since they were 2/1 & now we know why! They had 0 flavor & were full of chunky ice that we couldn't drink them through the straw. My wings lacked flavor as well. They were just bordering the line of ok. Husband liked his boneless bbq wings however & the server did take our drinks off. Maybe it was an off day so order with caution. read more

The service was a weird friendly very much gave off "I don't want to wait on you" vibe. My wings were put in wrong so I had to wait. Manager dismissively gave a discount for the 40 min wait. I won't be back for a combo of these reasons. read more

The staff are amazing and I love the trivia nights. However, if you're going for the food, look somewhere else. The food is always backed up and they aren't very accommodating to special dietary requirements. I got the nachos and to call them nachos is generous. There was barely and queso and the chicken was so dry. Honestly the worst nachos I've ever had (including homemade microwave nachos). The gator bites are alright but there are much better options for food. But if you're going for the atmosphere and don't care about the food, I recommend it. read more

This place is new and the parking lot is always packed so we decided to try the place. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Was not to crowed as we were coming in at 8pm. Our waitress was .... let's just say not so friendly. Even though it sent crowed we waited for a while to place our order. Then let the waitress know it was our first time and wanted to know what was good. She wouldn't talk directly to my husband would just look at me when he was the one asking questions ? Finally received our order and it was good but very Pricey . Won't be back again due to the prices and amount of food you get. Spent $45 on 2 people and didn't even get drinks. So if you plan to come and try it out for yourself make sure you bring $$$ . But like I said the food was ok not bad but not worth the money or the drive since we live 20 minutes away. read more

We have been on several occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. The bartender Ashley is by far the best! Gator tail is top notch and there wings are always of good size with plenty of sauces to chose from. Waitresses are always smiling and so nice. First time! I'm here frequently since I have family in the area and waited a bit after this new sports bar and grill opened before trying it! Nice atmosphere with good clear separation between bar and dining areas. Loads of big screens (as you'd expect) but not tacky. Waitress was very nice but food was a bit slow in arriving. Tonight..... was absolutely TERRIBLE service. We are regulars here and this was by far the worst experience we have had. I normally don't like to call out bad servers but this was something that attention needs to be brought to. Eva was our server. When she greeted our table, she didn't seem like she wanted to be there but was there bc she was on the schedule. We order nachos and 25 wings "wet". They come out super dry. So I asked for some sauce to make them wet. She got annoyed that we asked. Walked around the service floor for a while, then decided after I made contact with her that she was going to bring it. Then ignores us the remainder of the meal. Comes and asks if it's separate checks or one. I said one. She runs off and prints the check. Comes back and I asked if they had apple crisp. She says yes. So I order two to go. She comes back with a bag with two small to go boxes inside and tells us to make sure to keep the boxes upright and the bag tied so the ice cream doesn't spill. So I open the box. The hot dessert and the ice cream are in the same boxes and the ice cream is already a soupy mess. We had food remaining on our plates so I asked if we could get a box and some lids for our remaining sauces and i asked that the desserts be remade and packed in separate containers to avoid a huge mess. She grabs the bag off the table, turns around and takes a super hard/loud sigh and walks off to the kitchen She brings a box and runs off as she's explaining that she didn't know ice cream and a hot dessert aren't packed to go in the same box. Common sense would tell you that, but ok. Finally brings the desserts back and doesn't say any kind of good bye or anything. I could understand being annoyed if we were needy or asking a lot, but we weren't. I certainly didn't want melted ice cream spilled all over my car to smell terrible later so I don't think asking for it to be separated was something major. Wished a manager would have been available to explain our experience to, but he was hanging out with the servers at their station so we just left. read more

We went to this restaurant due to their post "kids eat free on Tuesday's." Not only were we charged for our children's meals, but when we brought up this issue, the management said "so what?" To our server and never even came to speak to me!! I have friends who have been regulars here for some time and have purchased over a thousand dollars of food in the past. No more. For many years I lived in Gainesville and this was my favorite sports bar. Great food and drink! Good service! Unfortunately, the Gators Dockside franchise in Yulee has been very disappointing. I came to this restaurant because it was passed 9pm and all the other restaurant besides Huddle House were closed. My girlfriend and me was in town from Atlanta and want to eat some food but were limited in option at 11pm. We were very happy with the hot wings and we know a thing or two about wings, Atlanta is know for hot wings. Additionally, my review is based off a pick up order, I would have sat and eaten there but I was sent for food. If you do come by this place it wouldn't seem too busy late at night, most people don't go out to a bar in Amelia area this late at night on a weekday or at least before Summer has fully started. I recommend this place for late night food, drinks, and just overall somewhere to go when more other places have closed up. read more

I gave this place two tries before I reviewed this place. The food is just mediocre. It isn't bad but most items are not delicious. When I go out to eat, I want it to be yummy! My fiancé and his sister had a salad and it wasn't too fresh and the kids got a pizza that was covered in way too much sauce and a dry piece of chicken. There were chicken wings, which were fresh and good. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich which was decent but that's because my meal had freshly been made, as it came out almost 20 minute later than the rest of my party. The server never apologized for this, but it was taken off of the check. The kids meals and another meal also took over 12 min past the rest of the party to come out to the table. I'm an understanding person, but the place was not busy, and I would guess at around half capacity. A manager never came by to apologize or talk with us about our meals coming out late either. Overall, the good is hardly a 3, but the customer service is a 1 (besides the ladies at the front they were nice and friendly and opened the doors). read more

Our 2nd time here, the first being a couple months after opening. Tonight, had the chicken and shrimp entree with rice, broccoli and a side salad. Really good. Surprisingly good. Not impressed, thirty plus minutes from placing order to being served. Ordered a burger and fries that arrived over cooked, lukewarm, dry and did I mention it took them thirty plus minutes....I also was less than impressed with the fries which were barely lukewarm. The food took incredibly long for them to have been no busier than they were and the food temps incline me to believe it sat on the counter for quiet awhile before being brought to our table. I went there and it took 30 minutes before our order was taken. Once our order was put in it took an additional 25-30 minutes to get our food. The cheeseburger wasn't very good and was literally soaked with grease. I won't go back. $40 dollars could have been better spent. read more

The first time I had gators I sat inside and everything was good. Today I called in a take out order so I could go home and eat some nachos and watch the NASCAR race. I was surprised when I went there on Sunday that every TV was on football and not one was on the race. And even though I called in my order when I got there it wasn't ready and I waited 15 minutes. I saw the guy bring out my order and set it on the bar and it sat there for 10 minutes with me staring at it. While five servers gathered around the podium and chitchatted about how mad they were about their tables. I finally got up and said excuse me are those my nachos? And the girl said oh I don't know let me look and then said yes they are. When I got home to eat them they were mostly chips soaked and chili sauce and that's all I could taste. I guess the moral is don't order takeout. And I saw two other people come in to get called in orders only to say neither of them were correct and had to be sent back to the kitchen. read more
