The person that served us very nice, patient, and courteous. I won't be surprised if he's the owner and made all the yummy things himself. Though our first time, he was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. He waited for us as long as it took us to decide what we wanted. He practiced safe handling instructions by wearing a mask and gloves the whole time he served us. There was also a bottle of hand sanitizer by the cash register. Gelato came in different flavors that tasted fresh and one of the best gelatos I tasted. We had to come back a few hours to get a couple of pints to go. They even had some new flavors later that day. I'm glad we came back because they had hazelnut flavor! Their gelatos just have the right sweetness. I would eat them everyday if I can My siblings and I all ordered the affogato and it came with one of the smoothest espressos I had. One can customize their affogato from the flavors that are available at that time. Mine was what our server/owner recommended, Fior Di Latte and Caramel gelato. I am obsessed! Stopped by on a whim with my bf. This was my first time hearing about or trying this place and they completely exceeded my expectations. Anyone who has visited Italy and tried gelato there knows how challenging it is to replicate the experience stateside. This galati here does not disappoint on that front! This is the second time I've I been here. It's not busy, due to current Covid situations, but that's not stopping Gb Gelato from making rich, pure flavored gelato. Their mango is pure mango flavor, salted caramel sweet and savory caramel flavor, and lemon sorbet is bright and tart and pure. Our affogato was served in a vintage bar glass with two scoops of gelato, hazelnut and vanilla we chose, and they poured the espresso for us. The owner was there today.
