Food: My husband ordered the salad (great dressing), shrimp, and crème brulé. I ordered the Szechuan green beans, streak with mushroom sauce, and crème brulé. Dinner was outstanding! We each had martinis and wine. Hubs also had a margarita. Great all around. The food did not disappoint. Show: Freaking amazing!!! I've been to more cabarets than I can count, and this show left me more impressed than I've ever been. Makeup, costumes, and abilities on pointe. The MC was hilarious and what an astounding background in comedy and acting. It was an honor and a privilege to watch. Then they gave a meet and greet outside. Love. Sad Part: It was my birthday. When Gypsy started reading people off, I was excited because I saw my name second from the top. I run a gay straight alliance at my middle school and hubs was filming so we could show the kids. But. He read the first name then skipped mine. Then he read the rest. We all saw the paper at our table because it was right in front of us. I'm sure he just got caught up or maybe couldn't pronounce my name. It made me a bit sad though. Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that management conduct a formal review, including verification with housekeeping, review of lost-and-found records, and any applicable security procedures, and provide a direct, documented follow-up.

On a recent vaca week spent in Palm Springs, my husband and I wanted to check this place out. We brought our own food and water canisters, which was good because the food there wasn't great (fried chicken, chips, cookies). The margarita's are decent, so that was nice. We had a totally fun, no pressure time. Everyone is super respectful of what you and your partner are into and not into. We said we're just enjoying our day together, and that was the end of that- truly no pressure. Conversely, we saw some couples say they wanted to do the whole swap thing, and that they did. Again though, no judgement and everyone is mature about it. We spent the day chillaxing au natural in between the pool and hot tub. It was a fun and sexy day, and we would go again. If you're debating going here... I'd say go! I was so nervous beforehand, and then it ended up to be no big deal at all.

We only stayed for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in instructions were sent via email and there's a code to unlock the room. The grounds are very pretty, perfect for a desert wedding or party. There are great views all around and there aren't any neighbors nearby. It looks like they own a lot of acreage nearby. The room we stayed in was the Onyx room. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. There are lots of nice additions in the room to ensure you enjoy staying in from wine glasses, a wine fridge, record player with a record collection, bath salts, star gazing area outside with a mattress, and comfy robes and slippers to use during your stay. If it were warmer, I definitely would've tried out the outdoor tub and shower but it was too cold at night to even think about it. There's also a large community pool in the works. As mentioned earlier, this hotel is about a mile from the NP so it's an excellent choice for anyone going there. It's also not too far from town so you're not too far from stores and cafes. I am definitely planning on staying here again!

There's only two rooms but each are beautifully decorated w so much attention to detail! Both have their own private outdoor area that is huge. The outdoor area have their own shower and tub which has a window that you can open to view the sunset. There's also a queen size bed outside for stargazing or tanning. Don't worry there is an indoor bathroom as well with an amazing shower. Everything was so well thought out! Each room has a fridge that is stocked up with large bottles of water, k cups, teas, creamers and sugar. They give you plenty of towels. There's also bath salts to use for when you enjoy the outdoor tub. They make sure the check in process is smooth and easy. There's also housekeeping available (free only if you stay 3 nights or more). There is a beautiful common outdoor area with a fire pit, swings and seating. There is also a common area with a large living room that has a microwave. I can't stop singing praises about this place! Sacred Sands absolutely rocked it!

We slept deeply & soundly. The beds in both rooms were A+. The complimentary breakfast included fresh berries, granola, bagels & other selections such as hard boiled eggs, lox & juices. We ordered food one afternoon from the onsite pool menu for our friends who visited for a couple hours. The staff set up a lovely table spread in the breakfast lounge patio. It came from the restaurant on site "Del Rey." Hummus with grilled pita & veggies. Also the veggie ice bucket & 2 salads. There's Mimosas in the evening. Also "freshly baked cookies from 8-10 pm." They were oatmeal chocolate chip which the cookie monster in me happily indulged in, though not every night. Unfortunately there were a couple safety issues in the smaller room's bathroom. As a cautionary tale, beware. One was the added wooden shelf above the toilet in the smaller room. My boyfriend who is on the taller side bumped his head into it the first day. Hard enough to make a laceration of about 1 cm. bleed. Second the window was sealed shut. Looks like someone had tried very hard to open it in the past because one of the slats was broken. At least the bedroom French door windows opened onto the patio. There were 3 pools. What made me happy is there are sun protection lotions provided. Along with complimentary water. The main pool was heated & open until midnight. The 2 smaller ones were referred to as "cold plunge pools." Seeing dog people here, as a former dog owner I would only bring my dog here in the winter. The weather seems too hot & intolerable for dogs in the summer. To end on a cheery note, another great discovery was made. About a 15 minute leisurely stroll away are fantastic walking/bike paths next to a bridge/creek. Many locals up and about in the morning hours here. Being a fan of microwaves they were absent in the rooms. When I mentioned this concern to the staff they said if needed they would heat items up in their employee break room lounge microwave At least there were no insects! Truly impressive. The icing on the cake was being able to read The Desert Sun & New York Times newspapers daily. How relaxing & what a treat.
