For my most recent repair, they picked up my macbook from my home, replaced the battery, and delivered it back to me in, no exaggeration, 2 hours start to finish. (I didn't pay any extra rush charge or even say I was in a hurry or anything.) I don't think I've had a repair anywhere else that was faster than like 2-3 days before I got the computer back. Another time I asked about a very specialized problem that they don't deal with, and they were totally upfront about not doing it and directed me to someone who could help. Also a great sign. And both repairs are still working great, so good quality as well. I'm going to be sticking with Techy for any future repairs!

The first time I took my laptop here, they got the part from Lenovo on the first day and repaired…read moreit on the second, so my computer was back to me in 24 hours. They did a great job, no problems. That alone was worth 5 stars. The second time was a poop storm. My Lenovo laptop (Carbon X1 gen 1) was under warranty and they told me as before it could take a day or three. It ended up taking forever and they did not find the problem. They did not order the mother board which, when I sent it into Lenovo dept, the replaced. The technician said there were tons of viruses on the machine and did not give me a report saying so. When I checked with three virus protection programs, none werate found. The whole experience with this shop took a week or so and frankly I will not go back until they get new technicians. To add insult to injury, when I picked up the laptop the second time, the woman who sits in the back said there is a charge for the software work they did. They never asked me, as they said they would, to authorize paid work. It was a total shake down. I did not pay as I already had my laptop, which is under warranty.
