Wow! Love coming here and the variety is endless. They have a great variety of food and drinks. We had a roll, steak tacos and surf and turf. The habanero sauce is spicy but a good spicy if that's your thing. Otherwise stay clear from it.

Plenty of parking in the structure behind the restaurant. Place is huge, with plenty of seating. They had happy hour, which was great. We ordered a bit to share. It's a fusion concept with a variety of different dishes. Everything was really good, but by far the star of the show was the octopus. The sauces that came with it were amazing, really well balanced dish and the octo was cooked perfectly. Def a must try and order from the happy hour menu if you can. Staff were friendly as well.

I stopped by Tempo Geisha the other day and decided to try their seafood and meat molcajete. The flavor was great, the mix of meats and seafood came out sizzling hot and full of that smoky, rich taste you want from a good molcajete. The portion of the main dish itself was generous, but I was surprised they only gave four small corn tortillas with such a big bowl. Same goes for the rice and beans, both were good, just served in really small portions. What threw me off a bit was the little details. The soda came in what felt like a kid-sized glass, and I really missed having chips and salsa at the start of the meal. Most Mexican spots I've been to, like Cha Cha's down the street automatically bring them out, which adds a nice welcoming touch. Tempo Geisha has solid food and good flavors, but with a few small tweaks to their portions and extras, it could easily go from good to great. Manager was also assisting as our waiter and taking our orders. Service was great and the staff had great attitudes. Friendly place and i would definitely come again. The happy hour being our first time trying it, and the last experience coming for dinner with my kids and wife reaffirmed the food is good and service was good. Just a few minor tweaks to improve.

We came to check out the new Geisha by tempo. We've been to all the tempos and this one was my top two favorites. We had the oysters, sushi , tried the aguachiles , pork belly bites (chicharron) appetizer, carne asada tacos for the kids, and their butter cake with ice cream and loved it all! Servers were very nice and friendly and kept checking in on us. Will definitely come back and recommend

The service was great, our waitress Heidi was friendly and welcoming. The menu was a little all over the place and the agua fresca lacked flavor. The pasta I chose was a little bland but with salt and pepper was much better and the garlic bread was delicious. I ordered the Tequila chicken pasta. I chose to come to this location based off of a social media post but I can't say I was impressed.

My friend and I came here for Valentine's Day dinner, and we were really hoping to love the experience but unfortunately several aspects fell below our expectations. When we arrived for our 6:00 PM reservation, the hostess let us know it would be about a 10-minute wait and while we understand that holidays can be busy, we had made a reservation specifically to avoid waiting. Shortly after, we and a few other parties were asked to sit at the bar with no additional context as to why we were waiting. We were offered complimentary champagne, which was a thoughtful gesture and definitely appreciated, but we were on a tight schedule as we were set to catch a movie afterward so we just wanted to be sat. Once we were finally seated, we overheard that someone had vomited and our table happened to be right next to that area, which was quite off-putting. During service, my friend and I also noticed the staff seemed very overwhelmed--servers were discussing table confusion and food routing confusion within earshot of our table, which made the experience feel a bit disorganized. This became especially apparent as we waited quite some time between getting our appetizer and our starter, which ended up reaching our table at the same time as our main course. For dessert, we ordered the butter cake, but the texture and flavor was more like cornbread so we put it off to the side. While we were waiting for our check, our server briefly placed another dessert at our table before realizing it belonged elsewhere and taking it away, which just added to the overall sense of disorganization. My friend and I truly don't mind spending $200+ for a great dining experience, but our total came to about $250 and, unfortunately, the food and service really didn't meet our expectations to the point where we ended up discarding most of our meal. For context, I've also visited the Tempo Cantina location across from the Brea Mall, and my friend has been to Tempo Geisha once previously. We decided to give it another try because the atmosphere and location are fantastic and very convenient for us. However, we were ultimately disappointed this time as well. I share this feedback in hopes it's helpful, not to bring the restaurant down. We genuinely love the concept and energy of the restaurant and hope to see improvements in service flow, communication, and food consistency in the future because we really would love to come back and have a great experience!

    Tacos dorados (arrived soggy) gross

Soggy tacos dorados. Man, I was disappointed overall with my experience at Tempo Geisha. Both of the things I order were not good. Tacos Dorados 7/10 These arrived soggy. The taco shells that are supposed to be crunchy, were soggy. The tacos were served in a plate with sauce in the bottom of the bowl. Apparently, the tacos had sat there int he sauce too long. Maybe that was ready first and they had it sitting for the rest of the food to come out. I'm not too sure? I just know something went wrong... I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp instead of chicken. Extra charge for the shrimp by the way. The Caesar salad dressing tasted off to me. It was overly fishy tasting, like anchovies maybe? They topped the salad with lots of cheese. That's fine. The dressing was just off though. It didn't taste like Caesar salad dressing. I couldn't even eat it. Really gross. My husband took a bit and agreed that it wasn't right. 2/10 for the Caesar salad. Service was fine. No issues there. They brought our food and filled our glasses. That's great. Ambiance wasn't crowded or busy. There were a couple other tables. My husband said his food was mediocre. Nothing to rave about. At least, he was able to eat his food.

Every time I come there's always something new for me to try. So far after a few visits, I have not been disappointed. Keep up the excellent customer service and delicious meals. The evening is better for the decor to really pop.

The vibes were nice. We went when it was less crowded, possibly because it was raining, so the service was good. The green sauce with the enchiladas is so creamy and flavorful. That was our favorite. The chicken fajitas were also good.

Such a big disappointment. We were really excited to try tempo geisha as it was the new restaurant with a neat concept. Everything was a complete failure The design of the place is absolutely beautiful! It is decorated really nice and very tasteful. Service was really poor. Our waiter was the bartender and our server. He didn't know the menu. We got the pan roast, dirty fries and pineapple dish. We specially said we don't want the octopus in pan roast but the other seafood items are fine and he later brings out the chicken and sausage. My husband repeated multiple times but he stilll got it wrong. He even showed us the tablet while we were paying that the pan roast was with chicken. What? We asked for seafood version. He just didn't get it. Either way the pan roast didn't taste good. Lacked proper flavor. The dirty fries were okay. They needed more acidity. The grilled pineapple was basically a bunch of cheese with barely any flavor. Wouldn't recommend any of it. I got strawberry margarita and my husband got the mule. Both which barely had any alcohol because I didn't taste any. Mine tasted like strawberry juice. Complete disappointment. Overall we were really disappointed and to top it off we went there for my birthday. I'd say skip it and if ton really want traditional Mexican cuisine and better alcohol go the other tempo in Brea otherwise skip it. It's not worth it. I can see why the restaurant was empty just with a few tables taken.

Geisha Tempo has opened in Downtown Brea. A fusion of Japanese and Latin flavors. Premium steakhouse cuts, fresh seafood, sushi and unforgettable flavors! Bites of irresistible perfection!! The decor and murals are gorgeous!! The outside patio is vibrant and fun!! Great place for date night, girls night out and private celebrations!! It has a trendy & lively vibe! They have a full bar, fun cocktails, mocktails and a Tequila Tasting Room. Happy Hour All Day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Wonderful customer service from Ramses Ramirez and Joe! We tried: PORK BELLY BITES SPICY TUNA CRISPY RICE SASHIMI HAMACHI GRILLED PINEAPPLE STUFFED WITH SHRIMP, OCTOPUS, AND SCALLOPS BUTTER CAKE LYCHEE MARTINI LA REINA CUCUMBER MOCKTAIL It's an absolute gem in Brea!!

Had a great time here! Celebrated a friend's birthday, vibes were nice and loved the artwork and lighting. I ordered a virgin ginger mojito and the citrus roll. Vibes 5/5 Citrus Roll 5/5: love the refreshing taste, salmon is seared and has this interesting lemony pop to it. Definitely would like to get it again. Service 4.5/5: Overall went well, I had a hard time paying attention to the service as we were celebrating, so left some wiggle room in the rating. I'll be more mindful next time. I would like to come here again for a date with my husband. Heehee

I came to Tempo Geisha for a quick and cheeky little drink, and left already planning my next visit! The vibe here is giving trendy, upbeat, and definitely a spot I'd come back to for a celebration. I tried the margarita flight, and it's the perfect mix of flavors. Would order again, but I'm also excited to try the rest of the menu. Our server Jesse made the night even better. Super friendly, quick with service, and really knowledgeable about the menu. He had great recommendations and kept everything flowing without ever feeling rushed. Thanks, Jesse!

Once I tried their sushi for the first time, they quickly became one of my favorites in OC. They fly their fish in every Friday and you can literally taste the freshness. Over the times I've visited, I've tried basically the whole menu but a couple in particular are my favorites. I always start off with the Blue crab appetizer that's wrapped with salmon on the outside and asparagus. Their sushi rolls are all solid here--I can't recommend the signature Chubby roll enough. And if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Tuna bone marrow shots which are actually such a nice palate cleanser! And, of course, the star of the show is the Chubby sashimi platter. Each piece is thiccc and melts in your mouth and even comes with sweet shrimp and uni. This spot is genuinely a 10/10, so if you haven't tried it, like I said, you're definitely missing out! I did not like their Agedashi Dōfu because they make it different from most places where I've had it. The tofu is supposed to be served in sauce or broth. But theirs is all dry and did not come with enough sauce or broth to dip into, so the flavor was a little off for me. The rolls are decent. Personally I think they're packed with too much rice. The Poke Salad did not have a very generous amount of sashimi compared to other sushi restaurants. The restaurant itself is kind of small so the seating space makes me feel a bit claustrophobic.

She welcomed us with a level of genuine hospitality that feels increasingly rare these days. Masako and Tom both went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. The food was excellent, and the care they showed us made the whole evening even more special. It is rare to come across such generous and kindhearted people. A highlight of the night was dessert for my daughter, who has a dairy allergy and usually cannot enjoy desserts at most restaurants. Masako thoughtfully made her a dairy-free version of the Oreo tempura, which meant so much to us. She absolutely loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and each course came out at the perfect pace. I highly recommend this place. I got the lunch omakase, while my parents ordered the luxury omakase. Honestly, the lunch omakase was already super filling and such a great value for the price. The luxury option is perfect if you want to experience a wider variety of dishes! I'm definitely coming back, they have à la carte menu as well, this spot is perfect for date night or casual lunch.

One thing that stood out was how quickly the courses came out -- almost too quickly at times. It felt a little rushed and didn't really give enough time to fully enjoy or appreciate each piece before the next one arrived. At one point, we had 4-5 different things in front of us to eat. As for the sushi itself, some pieces were solid while others felt a bit average and not especially memorable. That said, for around a $100 omakase, I think the experience and quality were fair for the price point. You probably shouldn't expect ultra high-end, top-tier omakase quality at that range, but overall it was still enjoyable and worth trying at least once.

We've been coming here for YEARS... all the way back to when Annie was our server... miss her a…read morelot. Always good, always fresh, and never disappointed. Now let's hit some points. First, the BOGO deal is awesome. There are happy hour deals, but we rarely get there in time to take advantage. It's just a bit of a drive for us to get there early enough. Second, the Chefs!!! Go to any sushi joint you want... you've got ONE chef slinging fish, totally backed up, trying his best to keep pace, and all the while losing attention to detail and presentation. CRnS always has 3 sometimes 4 Chef's behind the line. The result is faster service.... Of course.... But presentations that are almost too pretty to eat... but, it's sushi, so we eat them anyway. And third, the servers.... They are pretty consistent....There are not new servers every other week like some lesser joints. You get familiar with them and they get familiar you. Which leads me to James! James is awesome, polite, helpful, attentive, and just does a great job. I could never do it.... I'd be like "Bruh, I was just here 2 minutes ago, why didn't you ask more Wasabi and Ginger then?" Not James, always glad to bring us more Wasabi and Ginger.... And I promise you... we wear him out... definitely gets his steps in when we show up. James probably thinks we're packing the stuff in Tupperware but I swear James... we're eating it. Anyway, I have rambled enough. IFYKYK, and if you don't know, give them a visit! SEE YOU TOMORROW!

Legit spot, food is good…read more La Puente's location is by far better, as far as, drink choices, and starters. Fullerton's Rock'N Sushi does not start you off with a soap, and the edamame is plain vs La Puente's location, starters - soap and spicy garlic edamame to start-off. Aside from that, good deals and Fullerton still has the BOGO. Parking is a plus vs La Puente's location. First timer at the Fullerton location, I would come back if I am in the area but won't go out of my way as I will for the La Puente location. Overall, if you're a Rock'N Sushi fan, stick to La Puente's location, you get more of a bang for your dollar at the La Puente's Rock'N Sushi.
