Love this location! The staff are so nice and helpful! So many different coffee sones I don't drink coffee but there are also lots of add ons for tea and tea lattes. The matcha vanilla raspberry latte is so good! Lots of window seating so you can people watch while taking a break from shopping. Tables are also available. It's located on the main shopping street so it's easy. A clean bathroom is also available.

It's been years since I've visited Saxbys, but the staff here made my day. They have an extensive selection of speciality drink flavors, and their seasonal cold brews looked phenomenal. I ordered the medium "Cafe Vienna" (vanilla + cinnamon) iced latte with oat milk and it came out to around $7. I complimented the barista's Taylor Swift TTPD hat, and they gave me a friendship bracelet in return The absolute sweetest, very patient and kind. They also have a punch card to bring back for next time. Ample seating inside and perfect for when you want to get work done or catch up with friends.

The counter decorated for the fall.

Saxbys is a chain coffee shop with locations around the greater Philadelphia area. I've only ever been to the Haddonfield location since I live here in town. I've been here several times over the years. It's a perfectly fine coffee shop with plenty of food and drink options, but nothing that makes it truly stand out. I was last here on a Saturday afternoon in November. We were here for about an hour with a steady stream of customers the whole time, and there were five employees working quickly and efficiently behind the counter the entire time. Kudos to them for their hard work and putting out drinks quickly. Nothing terribly special about the menu or the decor that makes it stand out. Good place to grab a drink and walk around downtown Haddonfield, or to meet a friend for a bit. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy their chai and their sandwiches. I wouldn't want to stay much longer though and nothing super special about it to make me want to be a regular.

Our first experience here was great. Such friendly staff and the iced berry love latte was delicious! So delicious we had to stop by again yesterday for a second time. It felt like the staff was less friendly, but maybe it was just a long day for them! The latte was good, but not as fabulous as the first time. Hoping to come back and experience another visit like our first time, not so much the second.

Peach energy drink was good. The Buffalo chicken grilled cheese tasted good hut the bread was a bit hard. Staff was chill and the service was what you would expect from a cafe. I was able to hang out and do some work While I ate and the ambiance was a bit busy but not too loud.

Bananas for Strawberries smoothie and Vegan Breakfast Sandwich with pesto

I got the Bananas for Strawberries smoothie and vegan breakfast bagel sandwich with pesto. Since going vegan (and even vegetarian), I have not had a sandwich this good in so long. It tasted fresh and like an upgraded Dunkin Donuts with the pesto and spinach. The smoothie was classic and refreshing. The ambience is cozy and you will likely find people working or studying in the restaurant. There are outlets accessible on the walls which makes for easy charging. Overall, great experience & food (+ cashier was super friendly)!!

I dunno, man. You'd be kind of hard pressed to find a tastier coffee shop around. I moved to Collingswood near the end of 2020 and in all my time of exploring the surrounding areas, Saxbys remains one of my favorite coffee spots in the whole of the northeast. As a disclaimer, I've not had their plain coffee. I usually get a simple latte, or, if I'm feeling fancy, a specialty drink. So this may be more of a "dessert-y" type coffee place, I'm not totally sure. But if that's your jam, I've probably tried four or five of the speciality drinks over time and my god. They never miss. (They have one called a Campfire that's toasted marshmallow and chocolate and another called a Cinnamon Bear which is white chocolate and cinnamon. It gets even more delicious from there.) *The caveat: As dope as this place is, it's usually poppin' off inside. That is to say, don't necessarily expect to nab a seat because chances are the lobby is bursting. (I checked the one star reviews and someone mentioned the attitude on the older barista/manager during a busy time inside. I dealt with him today also during a busy time, and honestly? He's obviously just trying to do his job. People, let's cut food service staff some slack, okay?) Come to Saxbys!

    It's good!

Sticky tables but great coffee and sandwiches. Unfortunately, when I went there one of the tables was very sticky. Not pleasant. Anyway, the pesto grilled cheese is amazing! So crunchy. You can get either sour dough bread or multi grain bread. Get the sour dough. Filled with so much cheese and the pesto adds such as awesome taste.

Had a nice view but the wobbly table and terrible wifi. Ultimately had to leave. The wifi was so bad that it won't even load a website. I'm told the router was under the register, which isn't too far from me but the cashier suggested I move my seat. Umm, no, I don't want to sit near the register where there is highly limited seating, etc. For a coffee shop to not have impeccable wifi in 2022, they shouldn't be in business. Service was pretty meh too.

I ordered a cappuccino (was well made) and a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit. I believe it had mozzarella cheese instead of American which I questioned to myself, though it worked. The milder cheese allowed the biscuit to steal the show, which it did. The biscuit was buttery and not dry. I enjoyed it! I also grabbed a pickle and cheddar scone while paying, as they looked really good. Ate it when I got home and honestly was shocked at how tasty it was and how the salty sweet balance worked out. This is a spot that I'll be coming back to.

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

Management and ownership have never attended a tea service or researched how to host one Each table is limited to two selections and two pots of tea. Don't agree? Oh well. Refills? Extra charge. But wait you actually receive three pots of tea because upon seating a pot of the "seasonal" herbal tea is served whether you like it or not.m Additionally serving milk with black tea selections is apparently not standard practice here and needs to be specifically requested. The Earl Grey tea is excellent First course: salad. Hopefully no one in your party has severe nut allergies because before even taking tea selections a plate of spring mix buried under a pile of walnuts is dropped in front of you. Those in our party able to eat the salad did not enjoy it Second course: savouries. Finger sandwiches were fresh. Chicken salad was excellent. Egg salad on croissant was good I personally disagree with quiche being served as it's non-traditional but it is accepted in many circles and the quiche was also good However I have absolutely no doubt that the chicken salad and egg salad were scooped out of premade tubs from Sysco or Restaurant Depot judging by the sweets Scones: underbaked. Disappointing given reviews raving about them. Maybe we received a bad batch maybe the local population has never had a decent scone. Will not be returning to find out Presumably since the savoury scone (an abomination in my opinion) was served in the same course as a sweet scone the only butter served was a savoury herb butter. As a result there was no butter available for the "butterscotch" scone and there would not have been enough anyway considering we received about a tablespoon of butter and two tablespoons of both other toppings between five people The "clotted cream" has been addressed as it was the most offensive part of enduring this experience. Rather than a traditional jam or marmalade none of which we were served we were given a "mango compote." How someone decided mango and butterscotch are complementary I have no idea. Anyone in this industry would recognize Reàl purée squeezed out of a plastic bottle Sweets: thaw and serve La Boulangerie des Gourmets frozen macarons (which include a pistachio flavor and are packaged in one tray so again watch for nut allergies if you think you're safe eating a lemon macaron as this obviously isn't disclosed). I see these are being sold separately outside of the tea service 6/$14. They are 57¢ ea Chocolate mousse mix piped into a plastic cup with a processed whipped topping. The most edible dessert Menu lists lemon cheesecake server identified small tarts as key lime pie. Not sure which we received but can note the filling at least (probably not the tart shell) is made in house because we received more than one batch with one having not even a hint of citrus Saving the worst for last the "strawberry" cupcake. First and foremost cupcakes chocolate mousse and macarons (and most egregious cannolis listed on the children's menu) are not standard sweets served with afternoon tea. But this cupcake? The cupcakes we were served here were the driest cake I have ever seen in my life completely inedible. The frosting was some sort of processed palm oil goo and neither cake nor frosting had any strawberry flavor Atmosphere and service: service was friendly albeit casual slow and not attentive. Server was not very knowledgeable. Not her fault Space was fine if gaudy. Table was crowded. I share another reviewer's sentiment but the table cloth was about a foot longer than the table was high which made sitting movement or pushing a chair in difficult. It felt like wearing a heavy blanket that was pulled taut the entire experience Paper napkins and plastic dishes. At over $40 per person you would expect more As a side note standard afternoon tea practice is being offered or asking for additional items the guests like. However the menu had prices listed for additional sides of all items served on the tea service. Given the quality vs cost this felt particularly gauche It's hard to comprehend why the owners or management here can't get the tea service right. The hardest part is finger sandwiches and freshness which they seem to have managed. Good quality premade desserts are available and scones are not difficult to make. It honestly seems like a lack of effort on their part or a lack of respect for their customers which is frustrating All in all a very expensive abysmal experience. I'm sure there are decent afternoon teas available in this area at a similar price. Fortnum and Mason and the Covent Garden Hotel in London both known for afternoon teas charge £45 per person Two stars for the chicken salad server and Earl Grey
