A popular location on the main drag in Laguna, has a very modern vibe and the service and staff were excellent. There is plenty of outside seating with umbrellas although very limited amount of seating inside. Because of its location and setting I would definitely give it a try but of the 3 coffees we ordered, ( two Lattes and a Cortado) the consensus was the same, the coffee was average- a little on the acidic side and not overly flavorful.
I walked quite far for this coffee! I was in downtown Laguna Beach and really wanted to try a local coffee shop and this one popped up during my search. They had such a beautiful outdoor patio with tons of seating. They were also one block away from the water so this would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and go sit on the grass to watch the view of Laguna Beach. Sad to say they did not have a restroom for the public here, which I still find so incredibly odd because in New York if you serve food or drink you have to have a restroom, I think. Anyways, never in my life have I got to a coffee shop that doesn't have a bathroom until I came to California. I got a cold brew and took it outside. The staff was super friendly by the way and they had some seats inside as well, saw some people doing work. The cold brew was delightful. Definitely check this place out!
Frankly I'm not a huge fan of drinking my coffee outside the house because I like making a super strong americano and I feel like I can do it best at the lowest price. But this is a lovely little spot for a little pick me up in Laguna and I decided to be adventurous and try the Dreamsicle because it was like 4:00pm and I didn't need caffeine for energy. I'm not a huge latte person in general but the flavor profile was definitely interesting... almost exactly like a shortbread cookie with orange jam in it. They have a great outdoor area and the decor inside is cute. I'd definitely recommend Jedidiah for coffee in Laguna.
I ordered an iced chai latte and a slice of quiche and both were delicious! The store is cute with a decent amount of seating outside if you go early. Friendly staff, great vibes.
Such a cute little coffee shop! I loved the inside of the shop, it had a very homestyle feel to it. I got a nice summer spritz drink and it was great for a summer day. The service was very helpful and fast! They also had a pet adoption pop up outside and we got to visit a few cats. Overall great experience
What a cute little coffee spot! There is plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Bright umbrellas and tables as well as a charming mini kids play area with outdoor connect four. It beach close and located on PCH within walking distance of the Laguna Art Museum. I had the cronut covered in ganache and the specialty rose strawberry chocolate latte. Both delicious. It's good to know that they serve coffee and pastries and few other ready to eat bites. Inside can be a moderately loud - only because it is a small space and the coffee machine is going. Staff is so nice. You really feel like you are part of a community even if it is your first time there. When we were there at 2pm it was not busy, I was surprised by 3:30 it was packed and there was a line. Would go again and get an iced latte or maybe a pour over.
Ambiance is really cute and close to the beach. There's always been a line, so I try to go really early or during non-peak hours. Their lemonade is 5/5. Their matcha was fine, nothing to scream about. Service was friendly. I'll have to update this when I try their coffee.

Just a plain black coffee for me! Jedidiah is walkable to the beach front, servers are passionate about their customer loyalty & chatting up a storm with the regulars. My friend and I were there to relax after some yoga on the beach. Excellent day!
Came on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and the line wasn't too long. They are dog friendly so lots of cute pups to greet. They had a lot of sugary pastries and some yogurts/parfaits but that was all I saw for food. I ordered a flat white and a piece of pumpkin bread. Hubby ordered a drip and chocolate chip muffin. We had our drinks in about 5 mins. They had good amount or outdoor seating and a little bit of indoor seating. They even had a band outside until about 11 which was so fun. Only thing was they didn't have a restroom you had to walk about a block to the public bathroom at heisler park. The flat white was the best one I've had, so smooth, not bitter and great flavor. My pumpkin bread was pretty small for the price, don't know if just got a weirdly small piece. Hubby liked his drip and muffin, muffin wasn't anything too crazy just a regular chocolate chip muffin. We took our drinks to go and walked 1 block over the cliffs/beach access. It was away enough from the touristy area that it felt like a legit Laguna beach local place, which we liked!
Finally got to try Jedidiah yesterday (5/10) while I was in the area. It was a bit busy because of Mother's Day, but still manageable. The shop has a very homey, family-friendly feel and the decor/aesthetic was really cute. The staff looked busy and overwhelmed but they did well. The location is also a huge plus since it's right across from the beach. Unfortunately, the matcha was a miss for me since it lacked flavor. I had read similar reviews before but still wanted to give it a try myself. I'd still be open to trying their coffee next time, though it seems more suited for people who enjoy lighter coffee or matcha flavors. If you prefer rich and bold flavors, this spot might not hit the mark for you. Hopefully they'll look into using a higher quality matcha in the future because the shop itself has a lot of potential and such a nice vibe.
Iced lavender latte and pistachio matcha are incredible, and the baristas are super friendly! Their syrups are a bit on the sweeter side so I'd recommend ordering lattes half sweet. Seating indoors is pretty limited but they have a nice outdoor patio and are just steps away from stunning ocean views at Heisler Park! They don't have a parking lot, only street parking.

Needed me a fix , arrived and was already feeling the vibes with the music and the ascetic. I didn't know what to get but once I was directed to the specialty lattes I ordered the Golden Tropic. Meanwhile waiting , got myself familiar with the place and caught the vibe by the window. This is something expected especially by the beach. I got my drink and nice enough to allow me to help myself to sprinkle some cinnamon on my drink. Super cool. Make me feel like I added my own twist to the drink. Who doesn't like to feel engaged. The drink was good. Drink was smooth especially with the coconut and it paired well not to over powering not to sweet. It' was a good choice. I always ask for specialty lattes because it gives me a better insight on what they're about. Come by ! I recommend it. read more
I feel like I could just copy and paste this for most coffee shop reviews now - "Fine, but expensive..." I have to be honest, I was not impressed with this latte, and I am wondering why everybody raves about it. I got a vanilla latte and added vanilla cold foam as a little treat and somehow it still had a little to no flavor? I think it was $18 or $19 for 2 drinks, that's just crazy to me and it's my own fault, that should have been a warning, but they had a Ube cruffin (and my husband loves ube) and I ordered one without asking the price and imagine my surprise when it was $7! A little more than that I think actually. I get it - it's a pricey area, they're a block from oven views, it's Laguna, I'm too broke to live and exist there but good Lord. All of that aside, it is a very cute shop, very cute merch, and very good vibes with lots of sitting areas. They even had a cute little corner with toys for kids to play with, which I love! read more

My first time here it was great! Service was excellent! Line was a little long, I was nervous, but it moved fast! The ambiance and vibe is super warm and welcoming. Stopped by this cafe when I was in the area recently. Parking was a bit challenging since it is only metered street parking. There's minimal indoor seating but there's a few tables outdoors. Service was friendly and not too slow. I ordered the matcha latte sweetened with oat milk. The matcha flavor was not very bold but it mixed well with the sweetener and the oat milk. It's a more watery drink but didn't feel diluted. If you want a bold and stronger matcha, this is probably not for you. read more

I was shocked to see that there was no line for coffee during lunchtime on a Friday! The barista quickly took my order (an iced oat decaf latte) and made sure to ask if I wanted any syrups. They called my name a few quick minutes later and their coffee was really good! Not bitter at all. They have plenty of outdoor seating and had a live DJ during the time I went. read more
Pretty good! I got a 12oz salted maple latte with whole milk and added cinnamon and nutmeg to it and it was super good! You can tell from the color that it was a nicely balanced latte. The place is nice and comfy with lots of outdoor patio seating. It's the perfect distance from the beach too! read more
Cute spot in a great location! Parking is all on the street. Inside there was a line but it went by quickly. I got their seasonal egg nog latte which was tasty & decently priced. My friend said she really liked her matcha. Inside is decorated nicely. It was a bit loud for the music but otherwise great place. Super friendly staff but does get super busy on weekends so the drinks can take a bit to be done. Lines are out the door so I recommend placing an order online. Limited seating outside but great vibes since this is by the beach. Love how this is family owned and especially love the passion coming from the baristas and workers during the hectic busy afternoon of orders. Pitaschio Mint Latte (a ~$7-8 seasonal item) was like a mojito. It has strong mint taste and the espresso is strong. It's not overly sweet. Overall, great and probably would have added their signature cold foam. read more

2/15/25 Laguna Beach is busy as usual, Jedidiah was near closing but still going strong Wanted at match latte with cane sugar, waited in line for about 10 minutes & about another 10 or so for my beverage. Jedidiah is one of my favorite places in Laguna to have an iced latte and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere surrounding the coffee shop. The staff is always really pleasant, greets you promptly and like their jobs. I especially like that you don't have to wait around forever to get your drink. It's easily accessible right off of PCH. You have to pay the city, but I never have a problem finding parking. It's just a fun spot to hang out, whether you're by yourself or with friends! The energy is positive and you feel good! It's a very welcoming environment and a cute destination spot to land on, then cruise around the area. I love all the vegan Chia puddings that they offer in the fridge, and they have great pastries, along with a large variety of specialized drinks. The merchandise that they sell is good quality along with the coffee that they sell. If you're in Laguna, make sure you stop in! read more
Finally tried Jedidiah Coffee after seeing the weekend lines every Saturday. The croissants and coffee were ok, but what really stood out was the atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. If you don't mind waiting and have time to enjoy a slow morning, this place feels more local and relaxed than Phiz. read more

crowded, cute coffee spot in Laguna! Have been wanting to try it for a while. lots of outdoor seating which was nice. vibes were great, lots of staff that were all super friendly and efficient. I tried the bubbly Americano which was definitely an interesting drink, not very strong but the sparkling fizziness was definitely there! Don't know if I would order it again but it was different. The iced mocha was great and so was the chia pudding! No added sugars and tasted delicious, raw ingredients and very nice texture. Will definitely come back to try the other drinks! read more

Small coffee shop that uses its space wisely. The inside is perfect for families with little ones. They offer pistachio milk which highly elevates all of their drinks. Their lattes have deep flavor, highly recommend! They are friendly & fast. Long lines on the weekends usually. read more
