I had the almond French toast and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. We both shared some bacon, eggs, and breakfast potatoes. Their lattes are pretty tasty, and I would say I'm picky when it comes to iced lattes. They offer a few different special flavors. The hollandaise sauce didn't add much flavor, and the dish wasn't very memorable. I had to add a lot of ketchup and hot sauce to add flavor... One thing I did appreciate was that the restaurant appears to be family-owned, and I believe it's been in business for over 16 years. It's always nice to support a local business, and the prices were fair for the Laguna Beach area. The location is also a plus. It's within walking distance of the beach, and they offer validated parking with a parking structure located behind the restaurant, which makes visiting much more convenient. Overall, the food was not anything that would make us want to return. For our morning brew, we had the toffee nut latte and a matcha latte. You can order your bevy in three different sizes and we were shocked how large a medium size actually was. We can't imagine how large an actual large would be... that said, both were delicious, earthy, and not overly sweet. For food, we had the Eggs Heidelberg which is their house special eggs Benedict. What's different about their eggs beny from others is their use of French bread instead of English muffins. Generous amount of roasted cherry tomatoes, with jammy poached eggs on top of smoked salmon makes this a relatively light version of eggs Benedict compared to the heavier ones smothered in hollandaise elsewhere. I would probably get the smoked salmon bagel next time tho. eggs Nordic (rating = 8.5/10) - my bf and I really liked this one. The cream cheese really tied everything together. It's a thick piece of toast with cream cheese, packed with smoked salmon, green onions, scrambled eggs, sliced tomato, with a side of whole mustard. I honestly thought it seemed a little basic and not very filling but the flavors worked really well together and it was a lot better than I expected and my bf said it was a good amount of food. We would order this again Toffee nut latte (5.5/10) - not much toffee nut flavor, tasted more like a regular latte but still pretty good coffee Vanilla latte (8.78/10) - not too sweet, i usually like my coffee on the sweeter side but this was a perfect balance. With that said desirable outdoor tables can have a wait but there's a decent amount of indoor tables to help with the overflow. While I enjoyed my veggie omelette and found the fillings to be fresh and tasty we were disappointed with our dry and rubbery blueberry pancakes. I did appreciate my whole chamomile flowers for my tea however.
