However, what disappointed me was not the mistake itself, but how it was handled. During my appointment, the cuticle was trimmed too aggressively, causing bleeding and significant pain. I immediately told her it hurt, mentioned that I was bleeding, and even physically pulled my hand away because the area was so sensitive. At first, there was very little response or concern shown. No antiseptic, no bandage, no suggestion of how to care for the wound afterward. I eventually had to ask for antibacterial cream myself before anything was done. The service then continued as if nothing had happened. To her credit, she later apologized and explained that she was trying to make my nails look neat. I appreciate the apology, and I understand accidents happen. What concerns me is the lack of training or protocol when a customer is injured during a service. As a business owner myself, I know mistakes are unavoidable. What matters is how you respond when they happen. A sincere apology, immediate first aid, checking on the client, or even offering a small gesture of goodwill would have shown professionalism and care. The cut is small visually, but it has remained painful, sensitive, and irritating long after the appointment. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unsupported. I don't believe anyone intended harm, but because of how the situation was handled, I don't feel comfortable returning.

A complete waste of money…read more I had a terrible experience at this salon, and I am never going back. They work is far from the Professional. First, the consulting was frustrating. The staff member didn't speak English and kept repeating "sugar" to upscale my service, even though I clearly chose the basic menu for the cuticle and heel care. The nail shaping was done poorly. I asked for a round shape, but it was rough and uneven. Even after I pointed it out, the technician failed to fix it properly until I took a photo on my phone to show the sharp spot. The cuticle removal was also poorly executed. During the pedicure, they skipped a hard patch of skin on my toe. When requested to clean it, the technician made excuses. They then proceeded to watch the TV while working on my feet, rubbing the wrong spot, which caused pain. Finally, before completing my service, the technician left to attend to another customer. Up on inspecting my nails, I noticed the tip were missing the top coat. They do not listen to customer feedback and lack basic technical skills. This service is definitely not worth paying for.

Within just one week, the nails started breaking. After only two weeks, one nail has completely fallen off, several others are lifting, and they've become painful. The skin underneath and around my nails is now getting cut and irritated. For the price I paid, I expected professional work that would last and proper nail care.
