There are plenty of other cute ones with the same snacks and drinks and they provide better service. I've found another and it's so much more relaxing than this place. This place has really gone downhill. I've been coming for about a year but my last few services just got worse and worse to where I refuse to come back. 3rd to last appt - I came at a busy time and felt like my nails were really rushed so I decided to try coming on a different day. 2nd to last appt - I got a gel pedicure and there were bubbles and the customer service felt rushed. I started to realize this is becoming the norm here. Last appointment - I had a scheduled appointment and I waited for 30+ minutes until I decided this wasn't relaxing or worth it any more so I left. After 25 mins of waiting, the front desk lady gave me a bowl to start soaking my hands and she said "they're coming soon." They never communicated an apology or explanation that this would be a delayed appointment. Normal courtesy from salons is to give a heads up if it's 10-15 mins late. I waited 30 minutes and just decided to leave. As I was walking out the front desk person asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no thanks and she just sighed as I was walking out. Chloe, my nail technician, was very patient during the removal process despite the big jewels flying everywhere as she was filing it off. After showing her a photo of the new design I wanted, she skillfully delivered a pretty finished product that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, one of the butterfly wings broke after I got home, but Chloe was able to schedule a free fix after I contacted her. The salon accepts Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal as payment methods. I thought I would be getting my nails done by Janice, since that's who I chose in my appt. request, but Yumi was the one who opened up the shop and ended up doing my nails. She was really sweet and easy to talk to. For my nails, I wanted the design from the photo, but without the accent nail. I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails bc I feel like it wasn't as precise as in my inspo photo, but it was decent enough. When I went to pay she told me my total was $89, which caught me off guard bc according to our messages, I was quoted $70-$75, which when I told her, she said "I said it would be AROUND $70-$75." Why give a price range and not honor it? $14 is a big difference. Anyway, I'm not one to cause a scene so I paid, tipped, and left feeling like I was taken advantage of. 5 days after getting my nails done, the gel has already started lifting/ peeling.
