Frankly, their meat prices are now the same as similar meat cuts sold at grocery stores since food costs have gone up. Plus there is this nice feeling of supporting local and knowing the money is going fully to a family versus a big corporation like a grocery store chain. Upon entering the store, there were fridges filled with meat cuts in the middle and left side of the shop. The right hand side had some daily items like cooking supplies and some food. Everything was clean and organized with clear labels and prices. Majority of the meats were frozen and the only unfrozen meats were a small selection in the center where the counter was. I can see where some reviewers didn't like the meat being mostly frozen but this is a small storefront in a strip mall. If you're in the area or don't want to deal with the traffic and parking issues (e.g., street parking, valet or spending minimum of $35 or more for limited parking time) in Ktown for marginally cheaper meat, definitely give Angus Meat Market a try. It's the only sandwich she will order as a roast beef purist. She ordered the rare roast beef sandwich today at Gelsinger's and was impressed by the look of the sandwich and even more impressed with the first bite. Sadly she informed me that we no longer needed to go to Canters. That won't happen and I can enjoy both places. I ordered the roast beef dip and it was delicious.
