Clean and quaint little small business butcher shop run by a Korean elderly couple. It was my first…read moretime at Angus Meat Market. For the convenience, the meat is more expensive than the grocery store (e.g., Ktown) but I don't think it is a huge dealbreaker. Frankly, their meat prices are now the same as similar meat cuts sold at grocery stores since food costs have gone up. Plus there is this nice feeling of supporting local and knowing the money is going fully to a family versus a big corporation like a grocery store chain. Upon entering the store, there were fridges filled with meat cuts in the middle and left side of the shop. The right hand side had some daily items like cooking supplies and some food. Everything was clean and organized with clear labels and prices. Majority of the meats were frozen and the only unfrozen meats were a small selection in the center where the counter was. I can see where some reviewers didn't like the meat being mostly frozen but this is a small storefront in a strip mall. If you're in the area or don't want to deal with the traffic and parking issues (e.g., street parking, valet or spending minimum of $35 or more for limited parking time) in Ktown for marginally cheaper meat, definitely give Angus Meat Market a try. The husband threw in a scallion salad for free.

My wife and I decided to give this deli a try after I read some very positive reviews…read more We usually make the drive (15 miles) to Canters for our deli sandwiches where she always orders the roast beef sandwich. It's the only sandwich she will order as a roast beef purist. She ordered the rare roast beef sandwich today at Gelsinger's and was impressed by the look of the sandwich and even more impressed with the first bite. Sadly she informed me that we no longer needed to go to Canters. That won't happen and I can enjoy both places. I ordered the roast beef dip and it was delicious. The onion rings were high quality with good flavor and crunchy. The place is very clean and inviting. The customer service was great and very friendly. We definitely will be back to try their burgers and for sure the muffuletta. Don't worry Canters, I will be back soon.

Blink and you'll miss it but if you stop, you'll probably come back…read more This place feels like a true neighborhood staple: part deli, part international market, part "what did I just discover?" The kind of spot where everything looks a little unpolished, but that's exactly why it works. The marinated meats are the standout trays packed with seasoned cuts that look ready to go straight onto a grill. Same with the prepared fish, which looked fresh and heavily herbed. It's very much a "trust the process" situation here. Inside, you've got shelves of imported cheeses, spreads, and pantry items, plus a surprisingly solid produce section. Not huge, but fresh and well-priced. Service is efficient more functional than friendly but they'll point you in the right direction if you ask.

This family-owned corner deli is just the cutest little shop! There are a variety of Mediterranean…read morestaples and bakery flatbreads that are delivered every few days. There is also a deli counter with prepared foods featuring both cold and hot foods. The quality is similar to that of a restaurant, albeit a bit more oily. They also grill meats onsite, making it very convenient for takeout meals and for picnics. The quality of the produce is quite good, too. Staff is friendly and helpful. The parking lot is small but serviceable because customers don't tend to remain in the store for long, so turnover is fairly regular.
